| The Atrata Federation was a peaceful colony on planet Asmelia before they became independent from Earth. After neglecting the Asmelia colony for many cycles the Colony had enough and began building their own empire separate from the UNSC. they thought about naming the empire Asmelia, but they felt that would cause too much confusion. Soon they came to the decision, Atrata was their new name. The name Atrata came from the name of the vessel they had come to Asmelia on. The UNSC Atrata. Soon the newly founded Atrata Federation began setting up new facilities on different planets, only three of these survived the exploration sols. On the planets these planets were dubbed the Eon Triangle. The Asmelia colony was set on an old Forerunner planet, fortunately some of the technology was still in decent condition. Asmelia's scientists went to work and they were able to reverse engineer some of the tech, just enough to spark a golden age of expansion.

| Couple of things:
The ship that they initially arrived on wouldn't be called the "U.S.S Atrata" because it would have been a UNSC ship. Therefore it needs to be renamed the "UNSC Atrata".
Also, define "Old Precursor planet." If you're referring to the Precursors from the actual Halo universe, their technology is strictly off-limits due to being borderline godmod. Furthermore, even if the Precursor tech allowed, it would be completely impossible for Humans of the 22nd century to reverse-engineer it due to their comparatively primitive understanding of technology.
However, if by "Old Precursor planet" you are referring to The Forerunners, then that is fine to an extent. You should mention that the Forerunner tech was only partially reverse-engineered due to, again, Humanity's comparatively primitive understanding of technology at the time. |
