Hidden Forerunner structures within hidden caves, ravines and chasms in discrete locations.
Mainly UNSC structures made in jungle clearings. Structures include houses, hospitals, power plants and supply pads. Only four cities exist on the entire globe, all of which are very small and surrounded by large steel walls that have only one entry/exit point.
History:
Theta was a fully fledged human colony complete with a population of over 30 million and growing. The planet was full of lush jungles, dry deserts and freezing tundras, with over 60% of the planet's surface being comprised of sea water. When the Covenant invaded, the planet was almost completely destroyed. The jungles were burnt to crisp, with the soil and desert sands being turned to glass. The tundras were melted and the seawater was evaporated almost entirely. All that remain now are small patches of barely surviving jungles along with small, stale lake-like formations where the seas used to be. Since the end of the war, the planet has seen recolonization and terraforming efforts by the UNSC, where the dying jungles have now been sustained and have seen exponential growth. Cities have also been built and human volunteers have moved onto the colony in hopes of bringing the planet to life again.
Description:
Theta is roughly Earth sized and was once almost identical in appearance. However after the Covenant's glassing of the planet, the surface now appears dead. The seas appear to be dark areas of grey while the crust itself seems to resemble a dark silvery surface. The little areas of jungle that were left are barely noticeable from orbit. As mentioned before, after recolonization, there are four cities in total and the population numbers in the few thousands. The cities themselves are quite small, with only some structures such as housing, hospitals, mines, power plants, offices and engineering sites.
The planet is governed by the UEG and as such, is restricted and bound by their laws.
Unbeknownst to the UNSC or any human however, there are hidden Forerunner relics also buried deep beneath the surface, undiscovered for millennia.
