Appearance
Culture
Due to their short lifespan compared to other races in the galaxy, most Galmarians have adopted a mindset in which they wish to advance their race as much as possible in the short time they have in life. This leads many Galmarians to pursue careers as scientists.
Though they elect two representatives to the Elder Council every six years, Galmarians answer to one clan leader who is deemed to be the strongest in the clan. When the leader of the clan dies, either his eldest son takes his place as leader or another member of the clan challenges him for control in a deathmatch.
History
After the initial creation of the Keth'ari races, the dedication of the Galmarians to science and knowledge meant that the race never much cared for fighting and violence, making them a very passive race which was often dominated by the other four races of the planet. After many wars however, the Galmarians began to defend themselves instead of accepting subjugation. This has led to them being seen as equal to the other races.
