| After having spent thousands of years, 2479 to be exact, travelling through space from one side of the galaxy to another Saryn had changed. She had spent all that time either in a dream like state, practising her powers or given thought to dealing the vengeance she so voraciously desired. This was the first time she had even come across a section of space inhabited by a race able to travel into outer space hence her interest. Despite the apathy gnawing away at the core of her being Saryn was still a scientist indeed and as such had the burning curiosity of one. Plus there was actually something in this for her; perhaps the rulers of these planets had in fact seen the vessel of the grand betrayer passing by? That was the real reason Saryn was going to bother with these....primitives.
Her vessel burst through the clouds hanging above this random backwater planet, which did have a very lovely amount of foliage, and landed upon a grassy plan driving away the grazing beasts nearby. The landing ramp of the Oswald, its paint now faded and peeling after long years of neglect, lowered crushing flowers beneath its weight. Down stepped Saryn dressed in a simple outfit. It consisted of toughened trousers made of some material similar to latex and a plan white tank top unadorned by any symbols. The shirt exposed her skin which looked oddly.....unhealthy. The grey colouration to her the skin on her arms and shoulders made it seem as if the blood had drained from her entire body but the truth of the matter is Saryn didn't have blood at least not in the manner we would call it.
Standing in the field of grass and flowers you would not be blamed for wondering just how Saryn would attract attention to her. It as a good, if simplistic, question to ask and the answer was equally simple: she would make noise. As she had descended down to the planet Saryn purposefully ensured her vessel was as easy to detect as possible. The vessel's flight path had been bathed in sunlight which would make it easier to see visually but also easier to detect by heat based tracking systems. If that wasn't enough she purposefully used her vessel's communication system to send out a LOT of white noise on all radio frequencies she knew of; whether anybody would actually pick up on her metaphorically neon sign would be another question entirely! It was of no consequence to Saryn however. If people did not come to her she would go to them. |

| Sylvia was pretty much joyriding in her tiny interceptor ship through immortal galaxy, not doing much else but flying around as fast as her ship can carry her. After nearly crashing for the 17th time she decided to take a break and land on coincidentally the same planet and area as saryn. She slowly landed on a large rock and opened the ship's cockpit and cheerfully jumped out before closing and lockking her ship behind her, she was taken back by the forrest she decided to land in and as an elf and former ranger what other things could she do than wander through the forrests?
It was very reminiscent as she cheerfully hopped through the forrest, ocassionally stopping to give some animals her attention or watch how birds fly right past her. It didnt take too long before she hopped past Saryn, she saw there was something off about her but instead chose to ignore it and waved kindly at her. |

| Saryn was well aware of the new arrival before she even landed on the planet. She had craned her head upwards watching them land not exactly seeing where they had precisely landed but being fully aware that they had landed. Relieved that her indirect efforts to attract attention to her presence had worked Saryn was glad she wouldn't have to take more direct approaches to speak to the ruler of this system; of course she was cautious as the person who landed the planet may not in fact be the representative of the system's rulers. When the Elven maiden danced in to the clearing Saryn would simply remain idle making no real movements simply allowing the Elven lady to enjoy herself. Despite the fact her head had not moved she still watched Sylvia intently.
It was when the Elf waved her delicate hand risen up that Saryn bothered to react. Her head turned mechanically towards the Elf as her gaze focused upon her. There was a disturbing coldness to Saryn's gaze. She looked through the Elf instead of at her appraising her not in the manner of a flesh hungry beast but the sociopathic being of science she was. Ever inch of Sylvia's body was taken in by Saryn's piercing eyes analysing her. It was probably a much more distressing experience than being appraised by a starving beast...at least a beast would display some form of emotion. Saryn's eyes were simply empty with little behind apart from cold regret. One would probably be better served not staring into them for too long lest the coldness draw you in and devour your own liveliness whole.
Eventually the disturbingly drawn out silence would be broken as Saryn's gaze diverted from Sylvia the skin around her jaw creaking apart to speak. "Hello. I trust the landing of my vessel was noticed? That is why you're here are you not?" Saryn walked towards Sylvia with an unnaturally controlled walk so restrained and focused that it caused minimal damage to the grass underfoot. On the one hand it was nice that perhaps Saryn was rather caring of the plant life beneath her feet but on the other was it not a little disturbing? After all being unnaturally perfect was indeed something that could put people off. The question was would the Elven maiden notice it? Or was she away with the fairies? "I require your assistance. I am looking for somebody. I trust you're only here as a representative of the local administration correct?" Now it became clear...Saryn had not been merely looking through Sylvia; she had been looking through the elf at what she was believed to represent. |

| she noticed that saryn showed little emotion, but instead chose to ignore it and respond to her. "representative? me? oh no, while i am high ranked in the immortals we do not control this planet...yet, we might install our laws here one day as we are expanding after all. but i do not represent this planet. but! if you want to speak to someone that is important in another place you are, my name is Sylvia Roothearth, legend in the immortals and proffesional healer, what can i help you with?" she asked.
while there was an obvious massive conrast between the two, saryn was emotionless, cold and seemingly unfeeling while sylvia was cheerfull, bright and kind there were also obvious similarities like a love for plants and a lethality. |

| That was disappointing and a little surprising. This long eared female was not in fact a representative of whatever the rulers of this system were? That was disappointing but not as disappointing as the fact this planet was not in fact ruled by anybody yet. Still there was in fact something useful Saryn gleamed from this conversation. While she had not in fact attracted the ruler of this planet she had in fact be stumbled upon by this elf who was some sort of legend in the Immortals...whatever they were. " I care little for any self-assigned legendary status. What I need from you is information." Saryn reached into her pocket and brought out a small device from the pocket of her trousers and pressed a button on the side. Immediately a holographic screen showed up displaying what could only be described as a home screen. Ignoring the Elven maiden for the time being Saryn flicked through the device before bringing a picture up. She held the pebble shaped object out towards Sylvia and gestured at it. Displayed on the holographic projector screen was a vessel that looked oddly like the creature known as a manta-ray not that Saryn knew of such a thing. " I am looking for that vessel. It would have come through here thousands of years ago so I am unsure if you're able to assist me. However if you've seen it recently, or know anybody who might have, you will tell me." That was not a request nor a demand. It was an order one that should be followed for one's own sake. " Although if you're unable to assist me with that tell me everything you know about this star system you live in. I am what you'd say....a new arrival. I've been travelling for a very long time. I must admit I am curious in these...Immortals." Despite how she did not age nor could feel tired Saryn's eyes did indeed ooze exhaustion of the spirit if not the body. |

| she attentionly looks a the hologram and the thought process was visible on her face, it took her a while as it did seem vaguely familiar to her, with her being an adventurer mostly she's familiar with alot of ship models. with it taking so long she also heard that saryn had a minor interest in her faction, a few seconds later she visibly gave up trying to think of where she saw the ship and smiled at her. "it looks very familiar, but i cant say where i last saw it...anyway, our faction is a powerfull faction of freedom fighters, we're still in the earlier stages of advanced technology but we'll catch on, for now we rely alot on our heavies, we're always recruiting and if you want, i can take you to my ship and if you could link it to my board computer i bet it could trace it to where i last saw it, it wasnt too long ago..." |

| It was good news to here that Sylvia felt Saryn's target looked familiar. That means she must have seen it in her life time, which due to how Saryn assumed Sylvia must be mortal, meant the vessel had to have come through here recently. For the first time in a rather long time Saryn felt as if perhaps her vengeance would be achievable; she couldn't help but admit chasing a man half way over the galaxy was a rather mighty task. Saryn shook her head deciding to bury those thoughts for the time being and returned her focus to Sylvia. The knife eared female talked about her faction being freedom fighters but Saryn couldn't help but dismissively scoff at that. "Freedom fighters huh? Heh...What a load of rubbish." Saryn's issue with freedom fighters was not the fact they fought for freedom instead her issue was they fought for OTHER people's freedom. You just can't be given freedom. You had to take it with your own hands or else others would just take it away again.
"Still I appreciate your offer. I would be ve-wait do you here that?" Immediately Saryn's head snapped skyward watching as a small fleet of about ten landing crafts descended to the planet landing beyond the tree line. Moments later the sound of a chainsaw would be heard as those very same landing craft appeared. Looking closer these box like landing craft were now walking on mechanical legs. They had cut through the treeline using arm mounted chainsaws that were then picked up and thrown into a hopper like cart behind them. Upon seeing Saryn and Sylvia they came to a stop; after all they did not want to risk getting in trouble for cutting down living people. The hatch of the lead chainsaw walker flipped open and a dark skinned man poked his upper body out. He had a massive beard and his entire look essentially screamed lumberjack. "Oi you two. Get out the way. We're going to cut this forest down and flog it for a nice paycheck." The question one couldn't help but ask if was this in fact legal? Saryn honestly didn't care much and so dismissively shook her head.
"Silence. We shall be leaving once we've finished our conversation" At this stage Saryn planned to simply go into space, dock her vessel with Sylvia's and get the information she wanted. "As I was saying Sylvia I'd be very interested in seeing this infor-" Of course Saryn was yet again interrupted by the head lumberjack in his tree cutting walker who would angrily bark at Saryn. "Oi I told you to get lost ya rude sod. Now get the hell out of our way! We're cutting this forest down and will cut you down too if you don't get lost right now!" With that the man retreated back into his walker pulling the hatch shut behind him. Saryn would turn to look at Sylvia an angry scowl plastered over her features. ".....I see we will have to continue this conversation elsewhere. I'll see you in orbit." Saryn knew she could easily murder these fools if she so desired hence why it was fortunate she didn't. Instead she turned to return to her vessel unless of course Sylvia gave her a reason to stay. |

| the lumberjack seemed to greatly aggrivate Sylvia as was evident by her facial features, she took one look at the ship and seemed to recognize it, these were a band of criminals, most likely looking to establish a base here, and with this base being so close to immortal teritory she couldnt let that happen, so she took Saryn's arm and whispered to her. "these men are criminals, they have no right to cut these down so, what say you and me stop them? many of these should have bounties on their heads that we can collect..." |

| "Oh? Criminals you say? Hmp arrogance. On what grounds do you make that claim? Rudeness and cutting down trees are hardly crimes in of themselves." Saryn snatched her arm free from Sylvia and growled angrily hissing at her. Clearly she did not like physical contact especially with a stranger such as this knife eared female. "Refrain from touching me." The murderous glare and overpowering presence behind Saryn's expression made it incredibly clear any further physical contact with her would incur serious risks to one's self. "I've no interest in the currency of primitives anyway. I require no food and no wants beyond my revenge." Saryn dismissively shook her head insulted by the actions of these...primitives. The lumberjacks were being bossy and demanding while Sylvia was simply barking expecting something as puny as her "words" to be taken seriously. Saryn shook her head once again and would walk onto her ship unless she was given a real reason to stop these lumberjacks...such as a promise of Sylvia's full support? |

| Again simply claiming these lumberjacks were criminals because they wore a certain symbol meant nothing to Saryn. People lied and so "words" would not be enough to convince her to help. Of course that was when Sylvia mentioned assisting her in this matter would secure Saryn a favour with these "Immortals" which in turn would be used to get Saryn the information she needed. "Understood." Efficient as always Saryn immediately turned around and charged towards the head of the lumberjack criminals and jumped clean through the air. As she flew through the air a large pair of butterfly wings erupted from her back marked with numerous eye patterns and flapped. A coating of spores fell down from her wings coating the lead tree cutting machine and its operator.
"Boss look out!" One of the more attentive pirates yelled hoping to warn his boss but alas it was too little too late. Saryn landed on the lead machine as its pilot began violently thrashing about blinded by the spores in his eyes unable to see what was in front of him and a good thing too. Saryn's right arm had grown into a large organic spear and she thrust it clean through the leader's skull before withdrawing it leaving the demanding thug little more than a corpse slumped over the controls. His former subordinates were shocked by this display not due to the violence but the sudden nature of it. Saryn's total 180 change in attitude was what scared them so much as before she had been against neutralising them but the fact she had so readily taken to without any doubt was rather distressing. Speaking of Saryn she turned to look back at Sylvia.
"Do you want the rest neutralised? Or should we simply leave them be." Was all the female said to Sylvia before turning her focus back upon the rest of the lumberjack criminals. "I could kill all of you within a single breath. For your own sake I suggest you leave and pray my associate here decides to spare your miserable hides." The sheer venom behind Saryn's voice was given form by an angry hissing tone to her dialogue which underlined it all. The remaining thugs looked to each other then to their dead leader weighing their options up. Should they avenge their leader and kill these two? Or should they just leave? Maybe they would attempt to kill Saryn and take Sylvia hostage? Perhaps the Immortals would pay for the elf's return? So many questions and so many options but the only one Saryn cared for was the one she had presented to Sylvia. Kill the remainders of these lumberjacks or not? It would tie up loose ends if they all died here. |

| One of the lumberjacks charged at sylvia and grabbed her, placing a knife on her throat and wanted to threaten Saryn (not that it would help him) but before he could utter his demands, he was bashed in the groin by sylvia and shot in the head by a pistol she had hidden under her skirt that covered her armor, the speed at wich she said this was remarkable to say the least. she turned to saryn and said. "kill them." before holstering her pistol away and drawing a bow to pick off more enemies that stood in her way. And again her speed with the bow and acuracy was truly remarkable.
With an ally like sylvia at her side, Saryn would have no trouble ending the lumberjacks who were now returning fire with pistols they were carrying apparently but even then, if one even aimed at Saryn he would get an arrow punched in his head. When the lumberjacks have been taken out Sylvia walked up to Saryn with a soft smile on her face. "you fight well. maybe after i took you to that ship you're looking for, would you consider joining the immortals? we could use someone like you...anyway, the ship i fly has the data i need so meet me here... and ill have the coordinates and tracking devices ready for you!" she then gives Saryn he coordinates to apex 122 and heads off to her ship, but not before turning around and saying one last piece of advice to her. "before you land...say that Sylvia Roothearth invited you over, or you'll be stuck in traffic for a while. ill wait for you in the oasis, just take the train there and ill find you in the trainstation, from there we can have the data analyzed and traced, see you on apex!"
she says before finally running off to her ship and taking off, if Saryn let her that is. Sylvia then headed to apex 122 and then to the laboratories of Oasis, if Saryn did follow her she would undoubtedly notice the huge amount of laboratories throughout the majority of the trainride before arriving in the most advanced part the immortals had to offer, there on the trainstation, Sylvia was leaning on a piller absentmindedly playing a game on her lifeline device. |

| It seemed that Saryn's answer had been made for her as one of the lumberjacks, one of the many who weren't piloting the tree cutting walkers, charged for Sylvia and took her hostage holding a knife to her throat. "Think a hostage will help you?...Funny." It was rare for her to laugh but laugh Saryn did a dry and oh so very inhumanly cold chuckle. Even had Sylvia not broke free of the hostage situation herself Saryn still would not have been deterred by it. She didn't care much for Sylvia viewing her only as a means to an end plus even HAD the Elf died that wouldn't have been little more than a momentary delay for Saryn. She had learned that the Immortals might have a lead on her target and for the shape changer that was more than what she started with; plus it was highly unlikely these "Immortals" were comprised of just one person.
"Understood." Saryn was on the rest of the lumberjacks brutally murdering them. Heads were removed, limbs lopped off and acid based attacks burned through their skin leaving behind little more than a messy bloodbath. Despite how violently and aggressively she had brutally slaughtered the lumberjacks Saryn's expression remained as stoic as it ever had; did she really care that little about taking people's lives?.."Tch what a waste of my time...they should have just surrendered." She really did consider the people she had just murdered little more than time wasters didn't she?... Saryn turned her gaze to Sylvia and scowled insulted by the offer to join the Immortals. She memorised the coordinates to this Apex 122 place and returned to her ship before taking off setting a course directly towards the designated meeting point.
After a good while bickering with the authorities of Apex 122 and with numerous mentions of Sylvia's name Saryn was eventually allowed to land. She stepped out onto the metropolis like planet of Apex 122 but was unaware all these buildings were centres for scientific research; the architecture and design philosophies between her race and these "Immortals" was vastly different after all. Following the information she had Saryn eventually arrived at the train station for the Oasis and approached Sylvia. As Saryn stood before the elf her posture could easily be likened to that of a soldier standing to attention. "I considered your offer of joining the Immortals. My answer is no. I have no care in the affairs of your people. My only concern is finding my former husband and killing him. Your group may be able to use me but we have already arranged a deal for the only thing I require from you. Now do you have the information I needed?" Back to business like always the only thing Saryn seemed to care about was having her revenge which begged the question...why was she so hell bent on it? |

| Sylvia looked visually dissapointed with Saryn deciding not to join, but perhaps she could change her mind because they werent done yet, she flashed some sort of small data storage device in front of her and beckoned her to follow her. "yup, i got the coordinates to the last known location of this vessel you're looking for, but as you can imagine you'll be stuck with me for a little while longer...i'll try to be quiet though, okay? anyway, none of our combat ships are equiped with the trackers that can read the data on this chip, logical since they're ment for combat and not exploration so im afraid we'll have to take one of our battleships, they're big clunky and slow but they'll get us to our distination safely and you can land your ship inside it so you can take off when we're there." she says getting on the train again, this time to an area called the extraction point, if Saryn did follow her she would say the peculiar architecture again but this time with Sylvia talking over it. "all of the sectors have been decorated to reflect what they produce...i think it's ugly to see so much factories...."
Not so much later Sylvia led Saryn to a massive landing platform holding one of the many by now viral ships. From the current view it looked kind of impressive to someone with no emotions, regardless of that sylvia made her way to the ship and used some sort of keycard to open the thing, inside it felt much like some sort of mobile city with living quarters, recreational areas and such. Sylvia went straight for the control deck and slid her data device in some sort of slot, in response a holographic map opened with a waypoint and a small triangle representing the ship they're currently in. "so, as you can probaply tell, your mark is over there and we are here...so whenever you are ready, tell the captain and they'll take us there." |

| Saryn looked at the data storage held in front of her focusing intently on it; it was after all what she came here for so to leave it in the hands of Sylvia was pointless. "And why so I need you to accompany me at this point?" Saryn listened to Sylvia's explanation of needing to take one of the battleships used by Sylvia's group but at that she could only scoff. "No. At this point I have what I need from you. Your vessels may be primitive but mine is not. It could easily read your data storage unit. Now give it to me." There was a sudden change in Saryn's voice a sense of overpowering pressure and weight. It was clear she wasn't asking for the data storage device nor would she accept no for an answer; Saryn had no real issue murdering everyone here if it meant getting her hands on what she came here for. There was millions of people in the universe after all.
Saryn glared as she watched Sylvia begin to walk away from her. In response she briskly walked in front of the elf blocking her from getting on the train a murderously cold glare in her eyes. "I said give.me.the.data. I have no desire to work with you anymore." Saryn had only tolerated Sylvia up until this point as it was a necessity to get what she wanted but now that her objective was so close she would not tolerate any delays from Sylvia. If the man Saryn was looking for was indeed at the location that data chip would lead her to then Sylvia definitely shouldn't come along; she would die. "You would only be in my way." Saryn knew she could EASILY transfer the data from that storage device to her ship; it wouldn't be difficult to just connect some wires to the internals and transfer data that way. |

| Sylvia wanted to give her argument but fortunatly someone else did that for her. A purple robotic hand grabbed her by her cape and pulled her back. "i think you have done enough today, Sylvia. Let me handle this." the woman in purple exo armor says, making the elf leave. "my apoligies for my daughter, she can be an idiot but she means well. my name is Spectre, commander of the security on apex 122 and i will further assist you. Regardless of how annoying she can be, she was right. The data can only be transferred to our battleships, not out of a lack of ability but more as a security measure, i urge you to use the battleships because the chips will erase the data when it detects a breach. So if you would use our battleship we could drop you off at the marked location." |

| Saryn was annoyed by Sylvia's lack of a response yet kept her ears open as she saw a robotic limb pull the Elven queen back by the cape; it was rather a rough gesture especially for one who was apparently Sylvia's mother not that Saryn had any experience with children. "It's fine I suppose. Her personality has been mostly irrelevant." By that Saryn meant Sylvia's so called idiocy had not affected anything and as such ere not worth any notice from Saryn. She was a women of reality after all and as such all she cared for was what changed the reality she lived in. "I see..ugh fine. You're not worth arguing with. Lead the way Spectre." Saryn would follow after the head of security as they made their way towards a Battleship. She lamented her own vessel's lack of a support A.I; they always had been incredibly useful but alas Saryn's personal one was....no longer with us shall we say. Wars always had casualties and unfortunately some of them struck very close to home. |

| "thank you, i assure you i wont hold you up, though our viral battleships are not the fastest in the galaxy." Spectre made her way to one of the virals and opened the massive battleship using some sort of keycard that had her identity and such on it after wich the gate opened. She then went directly for the control chambers and slid the data device into one of the control panels wich opened a map on some sort of hologram gps with every bit of the galaxy that the immortals have discovered so far. There was a large red dot that was obviously quite an end away from where their current loaction wich presumably represented the last known location of the vessel and the ship took off, that is assuming Saryn had nothing else to do before she wanted to leave. "hmp, we'll be travelling for quite some time, do you want a tour of the ship?" |

| Growling irritably beneath her breath Saryn begrudgingly followed after this Spectre lady boarding the so called "Viral Battleship" as she came to realised something. "I'm well aware your data storage devices only work with your vessels...but after you show me the information I can simply leave." Saryn's information retention ability and memory was far beyond that of a normal person meaning she never forgot anything unless she choose to. She absorbed the information presented to her and engraved it into her mind as the vessel began to take off. "I have nothing else to do and I have no interest in touring such a primitive vessel." She walked away from the console and returned to the boarding doors planning to just jump off but sadly they had already sealed shut leaving her trapped on this vessel for the time being. "Lovely...." She sighed and simply took up position by a window staring into outer space. It was clear she had no interest in anything these pitiful primitives had to offer her. |

| She let out a chuckle when Saryn mentioned the primitivity of their ships. "very well then...i will have to leave you however, im at the testing overseeing the tests we are running on our hard light shields to see how high temperatures can be stopped as well are aging ray and the tracking guns. Feel free to come take a look if you're curious..." She says before walking off. The fact Spectre was gone now ment Saryn could go take a look and not be bothered with anyone should she wish to go alone. The science quarters werent far around the quarters, the violent spewing of fire could be heard from afar. |

| Hearing the chuckle only caused Saryn's expression to twist into an annoyed glare. She scowled at Spectre clearly not sharing whatever amusement she found. Such a drag...ugh." So far these "Immortals" had done little to impress Saryn in fact they had only annoyed her with their slowness and primitive science. However the scientist had to admit her interest was piqued by that ageing ray but not because it was an impressive step in science but simply because of how absurd it was; an ageing ray really? What foolishness. "You're developing a weapon that can age things? Pfffft....bahahahahha...oh that I need to see...." Saryn shook her head at the sheer foolishness of it; her people had managed to develop technology that could seal things outside of time and even reverse locations to a prior state in time but ageing an object? Impossible. Saryn rose to her feet and followed after Spectre having genuinely been amused for the first time in a long while. |

| Spectre was already gone by the time Saryn showed an interest to the aging ray, but she wasnt that far so it wouldnt be hard to catch up to her on foot. She was heading to some sort of testing cell, in one test cell there was an immortal troop with skin tight armor and an odd glove over her left hand, she waved friendly at Spectre and Saryn. This was Keya Gildas another high ranking member in the immortals, a light lit up and flamethrowers in front of her were activated, however, Keya made a gesture with her hand and raised a small shield in front of her, effectively stopping the fire incoming. Next to that cell however there was a loud energy buzz and a bright purple light shining on Spectre's mask, she would most likely have an unsettling smile on her face currently as she looked over the power of her destructive weapon.
The window displayed a room that held one turret looking device and a massive pile of ash across it. Smoke was coming out of the barrell of the turret, the overheating of the lens is where it was coming from. Spectre noticed Saryn had decided to join her after all and took a microphone and held it up to her mask. "send down more targets." And sure enough 4 objects were lifted into the room. One was the corpse of a pig, to mimmick the texture of a human body. Another was regular heavy armor. Then there was just a large hunk of metal. And the last thing seemed to an enchanted asteroid brimming with arcane power. The cannon was activated and hit all of these on it's own, the corpse of the big reached stages of decomposition but it never liquified, it jumped directly to the flesh withering and the skeleton turning to dust in just more seconds. and the other objects suffered the same faith of simply turning to dust, the metal rusted and decayed into nothingness while the enchanted asteroid turned to ash. |

| Saryn rapidly caught up to Spectre following after her. The two of them ended up in a sealed room, which did little to appease Saryn's paranoia, with a third indivudal wearing some sort of skin tight body armour and an odd glove. "Skin tight armour? Terrible." Saryn scoffed dismissively unimpressed, in fact she was insulted, by the skin tight armour. Akin tight armour didn't work because all it took would be one hit to the sternum and you can say good bye to your lungs. All chest armour was a smooth curve shape as it was the best shape at spreading force over a wider area reducing the kinetic impact which in turn reduced the damage taken "Please tell me your military do not wear that in combat deployments." Saryn's space suit may have been form fitting but she was a unique case given her shape shifting abilities and of course her space suit was a space suit; it wasn't designed to absorb kinetic impacts.
"So that is your age ray hm? Well let's see if it works then." She highly doubted it would work but was unpleasantly surprised when it worked ageing the pig flesh, the armour and that energy filled asteroid to dust in a matter of moments. The smug expression on her face was drained immediately and she turned to look at Spectre disgusted by that disturbing smile. "I have no ethics but you cross into dangerous territory." She looked back at the time cannon and considered destroying it, an easy thing for her to do if she wanted, but dismissively shook her head deciding not to. It wouldn't serve her own cause to make an enemy of these Immortals just yet. "Still that fire shield of yours. How much? I could use one." Hopefully that wouldn't be too revealing of her weakness given her own paranoia. The problem with Saryn's desire to acquire one of those fire shields was her lack of currency the Immortals would accept. She turned her back to the age gun and leaned against the wall arms folded across her chest. |

| She walked out of the test room viewing booth. "oh yes they do, but worry not. Bullets can not get throuvgh it as easily as looks, it more feels like a poke in their stomach than a bullet ripping through their flesh, it's though material..." She stood completely still upon hearing the offer for a rogue armor. "We do not sell our equipment, they're ment for our troops only. Especially the light shields as it is a technology unique only to our faction."

| "....You do realise your armour would be significantly more effective if it was comprised of flat curved plates correct? They would dissipate the force over a wider area reducing the impact. There is a reason most armour designs follow that basic rule." The more Saryn talked to these Immortals the more insulted by them she was. She was well aware their armour, despite it's inefficient shape, was good enough to keep their solders alive but the problem was it could be better so much better if only the Immortals were as advanced as they seemed. "Are we there yet? I tire of talking with you arrogant primitives..." Hypocritical maybe, given Saryn's mounting frustrations with the Immortals, but she at least learned from smarter people than her and didn't have the arrogance to toy with forces that were best left untouched; after all god knows what messing with temporal technology could do.
"Fine. I can probably make something better myself." It would be easy really. Saryn would just need to find a creature with a resistance to flames and heat, extract a pure and complete sample of its DNA, engage in some science, incorporate the finished product into her own genetic code and then grow a new body. Depending upon how quickly she found the DNA she required it could all be wrapped up a month not that time was a problem for her. She still had an immensely long life time ahead of her and was incredibly difficult to permanently kill after all still that did little to appease her annoyance. "Tch did we really have to take this bloated whale of a vessel? Surely you must have something faster..." The scientist had been getting distracted with all of these...annoyances but she decided to focus upon why she had come here: her revenge. Sadly that only angered her further as the Immortal's just had to pick their biggest and slowest whale of a vessel didn't they? |
