Ever since joining the Immortals Jessie has faced all kinds of challenges from, invasions to moon bases. Life was certainly a lot more exciting now that it ever was on Artemis. Even if Jessie's life on Artemis was nothing but crimes, bars and occasionally women. However she never meant to cause any harm during her times there, even though she inevitably did, but that's where the immortals came in. It gave her a shot of redemption, which was probably one of her biggest challenges. Although the interesting thing was, challenges weren't always tasks that you'd have to do for a reward. Sometimes things such as loosing a loved one was a challenge, and they certainly yielded no rewards. But today Jessie would face a challenge of her own, even if she doesn't want to emit it.

"Fuck off, and let me sleep." Jessie mumbled under her breath, her brain barely awake to process where that annoying beeping sound came from. It was no doubt an alarm that, Sylvia, had set up. "Shut up..." Jessie moaned, yet to no avail, the beeping continued. Eventually Jessie had got out of her bed, after she had thrown something at the alarm. From there it was only a case of daily routine. Get up, wash, eat, and check who needs to be killed.

About half an hour later, Jessie was wondering down the halls of Apex 122's hub. Dressed in rather casual clothes for once, nothing much but her boots, dark blue jeans, red shirt, and black Jacket. However what was interesting was how she was missing her hat, and cloth. Although this was Jessie, so her holstered revolver was nothing out of the unusual. She had gotten her own place, thanks to Sylvia, so she wouldn't have to stay in her ship all the time. Even though it had bedrooms of it's own, having an actual building was far nicer than a ship. As she wonder down she spotted two people, one was a girl she knew quite well, the other was a man she'd never met or seen before.

From what Jessie could see, it seemed that Sylvia was talking to this man. Nothing was out of the usual. That was until Jessie noticed the blush in Sylvia's cheeks. It shouldn't of been surprising that someone would eventually come along and try and chat her up, Because Sylvia was a rather attractive person. In Jessie's eyes anyway. However it seemed strange, and slightly irritating for some odd reason. Like Jessie couldn't explain why she was even the slightest bit shocked so see it. Shaking her head she collected her thoughts before looking up at the two. When she did however it seemed that the man had left, and Sylvia was standing there. "Hey, Sylvia?" Jessie called out to her, as she made her way over at a pretty fast pace. "What was that?" She asked, pointing in the direction of where the man left.

she was smiling as she watched the man leave, her smile was even brighter and cuter than usual, she then hear her friend come of her and greeted her with a smile. "oh him? i met him last week~ he's really nice to me. im meeting with him again tomorow, when he's taking me out for dinner again~." she says before hopping off into the distance cheerfully while singing happily.

Jessie stood there seemingly lost for words, as if she was trying to find the correct ones in her head. However she was left there standing slightly confused with her index finger pointing in the air. "Oh... That's cool? I guess..." Jessie replied, but before she knew it Sylvia had happily skipped away. She was left standing, crumpling her hand into a fast, as she was alone.  "Huh..." She now rested her back on the wall, her arms crossed over her chest, as she tried to process what just happened. Did Sylvia have a date?

After awhile Jessie found herself wondering around the hub, half her mind actually focused on where she was going, while the rest of it was just trying to figure out what the hell she just saw. It really shouldn't of confused her, or have given her this awful gut feeling. Jessie couldn't tell what it was, but something just didn't seem right about it. That annoyed her though. Not knowing what was happening, or what was wrong. It frustrated her and a times scared her.

However she was suddenly knocked out her thoughts as she bumped into someone, obviously taller than her. Pushing herself back she just kept her balance. "Christ, sorry!" Jessie said quickly apologising for her clumsiness. "I wasn't looking where I was... Going..."  She suddenly slowed down as she realised who she bumped into. The man from earlier, the one who Sylvia seemed so excited about.

the man seemed more than annoyed to have jessie run into her, but other then a frown directed at her, he didnt give her too much attention, though as he walked past her he did proceed to speak to her. "next time watch out where you walk, im in a hurry, i have to buy flowers for an unintelligent person..." when the last word was said, he was already quite far away.

As the first word came out the man's mouth, her eyes were locked on in. Even if he didn't even bother to return it. Jessie watched the man walk away, every word of his dropping like stones into water. Then the last words hit her like bullet. Harsh and sharp. She knew who the guy was talking about, it would be stupid to consider it was about anyone else. With her fists clenched she started to march up to the man, and then within a very short space of time, she was next to him.

"Would this person happen to be the elf you were chatting up earlier?" Jessie asked in a surprisingly calm tone. Jessie was one to trust her gut, and right now it was telling her this guy was up to no good. However if she wanted to find out if this guy really was up to no good, she couldn't respond in violence... Sadly.

"eheh, that's none of your bussiness little girl, unless you care about her, it is undead that elf. She was ridiculously easy to get to fell in love with me...heheheh anyway, i told you i was in a hurry already, if i buy flowers for her when i pick her up tonight this whole dating stuff might go faster and i can get her pretty features in my bedroom faster." he says in an almost mocking tone as he picks up the pace, fortunatly for him sylvia has been mindlessly hopping around the town cheerfully, somewhat confirming his statement of sylvia's intelligence, though this was really sylvia's behaviour when she was specifically happy.

Even though the man picked up the pace, Jessie was just naturally faster. It allowed her to quickly get in front of the man with ease. As she got in front of him, she turned to face him, arms behind her back. "Uh, sorry what?" Jessie questioned him with a fake smile plastered onto her face. Although she was smiling, it wouldn't be hard to tell that she was slightly on the edge. "You're going to do what now?" Jessie said starring the man down, her smile slowly fading into a frown.

Sure Sylvia at times seemed childish, but not unintelligent. Overly energetic and happy, sure that was a given. It was just her character. However she wasn't dumb, and Jessie knew it. However she was able to be manipulated easily, sadly. It annoyed Jessie, because she came face to face with the results of it.

"I hope you're not planning to do anything that is going to hurt her." Jessie said, her tone drastically changing to a much more sinister one. "Because I swear to god you'll regret it." Jessie said looking at the man straight in the eyes with a large frown on her face.

the man obviously found jessie getting angered amusing and proceeded to mock her even further. "im going to buy something forher to put her to good use faster...i dont know, it mostly depends on how good she listens to me that she wont get hurt...or on how 'gentle' i am eheh...ah! Sylvia! how nice to see you" he shouts out as he sees the blonde elf hop around the corner, he puts his arm around her, though fairly low of course, he looks back with a more evil grin to mock jessie before he leaves the area with sylvia.

That evening, jessie who was most likely lounging in the appartment she shared with sylvia heard a loud thud against the door combined with the noise of smooching with the rattling of the key being pressed into the lock* asthe door opened sylvia almost fell on the ground, it was quite obvious she's been drinking alot as she could hardly stand on her own legs, with her new mannerisms being much more awkward than usual. The man however noticed jessie and left.

Meanwhile Sylvia laid on the couch smelling strongly of booze, in this state she would fall asleep soon but for whatever reason she still insisted on doing alchemy as she stumbled to her setup and began brewing some more potions.

As the man spoke Jessie only got more and more agitated. Her left hand curled into a fist, and her right hand twitching for her revolver. Jessie knew the rules and laws, but she only wanted to shoot the man right here and now. Jessie could of done it, the man would of been able to see that from just her body language, however as she heard Sylvia's name being called out she was forced to stand down. Jessie stood there just watching the two leave, her face red with anger.

Later that night Jessie was doing nothing of excitement, she was just lounging about reading a book as expected. Sylvia wasn't back yet, which kind of worried her. She knew it shouldn't of, Sylvia could take care of herself for sure, but there was just something inside of her that made her worry. It was like a storm in the pit of her stomach. She knew nothing good was going to come out of it. Then she heard the noise outside the door. A heavy frown fell on her lips as she heard the sounds of kissing and the rattling of keys. When the door finally opened her eye's went straight to the extremely drunk elf, only then to shoot up to the man. She didn't say anything, but the red in her cheeks and the angry expression on her face told him to leave. Thankfully he did so.

A short while afterwards Jessie made her way out the kitchen, probably having made herself something to eat, only to have her eye's lock onto Sylvia. Sylvia probably didn't even notice her, the alcohol probably blinded her in more ways than one. But it was slightly scary to see her this drunk, she was barely able to stand let alone work on her alchemy. It made her mind wonder to dark places, she could only begin to imagine what that man was going to try and do with her in this state. Giving out a heavy sigh, Jessie walked up behind Sylvia, and placed her hand on her shoulder. "You ok there Flowers?" Jessie asked rather softly, trying not to alarm her friend.

she did not even notice jessie until she felt her hand on her shoulder, and in a surprising event sheturned around and fought back to defend herself,wich mostly ment getting an awkward hug with added grunting noises until she noticed it wasnt a threat but her friend, from then little changed, she still hung around jessie's neck but now she was uttering drunk words, hard to distinguish what she's actually saying. but most likely it was sweet talk to her.

she let go suddenly and stumbled to the couch with jessie and threw herself in and laid her head on jessie. Perhaps it would be best if she went to sleep but she turned the tv on instead and went to the kitchen to get another glass of wine.

Jessie didn't even bother to fight off Sylvia, knowing she was practically harmless in this state. However what she didn't expect was how Sylvia basically threw the both of them onto the couch. Jessie gave out a sigh as Sylvia rested her head on her, this causing a deep blush within her cheeks. She didn't entirely know how to feel about this, but she was just glad Sylvia was about to fall asleep. Jessie rested her head back and closed her own eyes, silently wishing everything would just calm down for one second. However it seemed that second would be up soon as Sylvia suddenly switch on the TV, only to get off her and make her way to the kitchen.

With a deep sigh Jessie got off the couch and made her way to the kitchen. However when she got there she saw Sylvia getting herself another glass of wine. Jessie quickly rushed over and grabbed the bottle of wine out of Sylvia's hands. "Whoa, hold it there Flower's. I think you've had enough alcohol for one night!" Jessie said as she put the bottle back. After that she turned back to Sylvia. She took one look over the girl before grabbing her hand. "C'mon let's get you to bed... You're going to be dead in the morning."

While she resists at first, it seems that she lets jessie take care of her and listens, so she follows Jessie to the couch again and lays on her again, this time falling a sleep almost instantly. Even if Sylvia was a tiny woman, her constant squirming, grunting and occasional screaming was bothersome, sharing a bed with her was usualy like this, she had these nightmares oftenly and this time was no exception, after an hour or so she become more quite and allowed for jessie to sleep as well.

the next morning when jessie woke up, surprisingly sylvia was not around, despite probaply being hungover badly. She was nowhere in the appartment, though there was a note on the table that read:

Jessie.
brad already picked my up while you were still asleep, so today you'll have to do whatever i normally do:
-empty the dishwasher
-vacuum clean the appartment
-clean up your weapons and ammo
-do the laundry
please have these done before i get home!
-Sylvia

meanwhile Sylvia was sitting with her newfound love in a breakfast bar not terribly far from the appartment. "so~ did you sleep well~?"

Getting to sleep was quite annoying, however it was nothing out of the ordinary. Jessie had learned to live with such headaches, if anything it gave her an excuse to hold Sylvia slightly closer. Even if her wriggling was annoying it made her feel safe, because after all her years alone on Artemis it was nice to have someone close to you. At times Jessie was just scared of one day lying like this, alone.

Waking up the next morning Jessie was only met with the shock of not having the sounds of a girl puking her guts out due to a deadly hangover, but instead only silence. Slowly making her way out of the Jessie wondered around the house only to discover, nothing. She began to worry until she eventually came across the note. Quickly picking it up she read through it. "Fuck me..." Jessie growled, crumpling the note in her hand and smacking her head against the wall gently. "Fuck this week man."

Down at the breakfast bar Brad sat at the table, opposite of Sylvia, looking into her eyes. "I slept well dear," He said in a well spoken voice. He seemed to be everything like you'd expect. Tall, handsome, a fighter, and dirty little plans he didn't dare let slip out. "About last night, I'm sorry for leaving so abruptly. I would of came in, if it wasn't for your friend giving the death stare." He said with a soft chuckle in his voice.

Sylvia was blushing brightly, but it was also quite obvious she was quite sick, this was evident by the fact she ordered tea and was rubbing her head the whole morning and having big sleepy eyes. "oh yeah...im sorry about my room mate, she's kind of grumpy at times...but she means well." she didnt eat much obviously, with how drunk she was the day before it wouldnt make much sense for her to eat alot. "im so glad i met you...i never went on to do these kind of things before like going out on dates and having someone pick me up to go out, im really enjoying this." she finishes her breakfast plate and smiles at him, through her headache. "so, are we up to anything today? ill be glad to just wander around with you all day too."

"Actually I have something I want to show you." Brad said with a smile playing on his slips, knowing Sylvia's love for all things nature, he had the perfect plan to impress her. well he thought it would be anyway. After they had finished up he would of taken her for a bit of a stroll, making small talk as he went along, just to learn more and more about her.

He would of kept up this up until came to a small section of Apex that not to many people knew about. You could tell that by how the area he had brought Sylvia to was void of any humanoid life. However this area seemed to an artificial park placed onto the planet for leisure purposes. The park was large and open, with a path laid out to circle a large lake. Large tree's guarded each sides of the path, while rose bushes were planted in between the tree's. Sun light fell down and reflected into hundreds of particles off the crystal blue lake. The area, although void of life, was extremely peaceful.

Brad had lead the two of them to an open area, within the park, near the lake. For a second it would of seemed like he had left Sylvia's side, however not to long afterwards he came up next to her, with a bundle of roses in his hands and blush in his cheeks. "I thought you'd like a place like this."

Meanwhile back at the apartment. Jessie had just finished off vacuuming the apartment, all while shouting words people dare not to mention. Even though her swears where drowned out by the vacuum, the neighbours came over and knocked on the door, probably to ask Jessie if she could keep it down. However they where soon met with an angry, red faced, Jessie slamming the door in their faces and a loud "Fuck off!". It was safe to say the neighbours ran away after that.

she had a suprised yet very happy look. "aaaaaaaaaah! what is it? i love surprises!" she says quite loud actually. the whole way to the park she was hopping around brad in her usual cheerfull manner. upon arriving in the park it didnt take her long to run off to find some squirrel to play with, but when she saw brad has left she stood up slowly and searched for him, only to get surprised by him coming back.

she gasps when she recieves the bundle from brand. "for me? aw thank you!, how sweet of you! yess! i do love this place! it reminds me alot of the loftwoods on jeslore. have you ever been to jeslore, brad? it's my homeplanet and there is an entire country like this! it's so pretty and if you want ill take you there once!"

He looked on, towards the lack, thinking about it. However he eventually shook his head with a small chuckle in the back of his voice. "Perhaps not now, but I'd love to see your home one day." Brad said with smile resting on his face. He looked down at Sylvia, then he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her in closer. "But if I do visit, I hope it's as pretty as you." He said softly before sinking back into silence, taking in the peaceful atmosphere watching the afternoon sun start to settle.

she blushed and kisses him on his cheek. "thank you, but...perhaps not my real home...i bet it's on ruins about now, the renegades have seen to that...but i'd love to take you to jeslore some day if you like this you'll love the loftwoods..." she lays her head on him and wraps her arm around his neck.

Brad smiled towards Sylvia. Giving out a sigh it seemed as if he was enjoying himself, to bad that was all a lie. He knew that he would break her heart, or for better words, rip it out soon enough. After he was only doing this to get her pretty little features for himself. However until then he would have to keep this little act up around her, even if it annoyed him greatly. Another thing that annoyed him about the whole situation, was the fact he had to watch out for Sylvia's little friend. Sure she didn't seem like much, an annoying brat really, but he knew she could cause problems for him. He had heard the stories of Sylvia and her friend, how they stole a ship without notice, murdered two moon bases, and plenty more he could be bothered to care about. The only problem with these stories were the fact they told how the two were dangerous alone and together, and how their relationship was strong. Personally he couldn't see what was so great about her, she wasn't even that pretty, let alone intelligent, just an angry little girl who didn't know when to shut up. If he could take the annoying brat out of the equation everything would be far easier.

"I'm sorry to hear that, but perhaps one day it will be everything you want it to be." Brad said through his fake smile. "I'd love to see it one day dear." He said, his voice soft and sweet.

sylvia smiled brightly at him, she reached her arms around his neck and pressed her cheek against his. "would you rebuild it with me, love...?" she asks, her tone was more serious this time around and had a hint of sadness in it. She thought for a second, how jessie did not seem to like him so much, perhaps if they met they could be friends...or so she thought.

she stands up and takes brad's hand after a few hours, by now it was getting a bit dark, she was getting hungry and she had a plan she wanted to propose to brad over a dinner. "ill pay this night, it's my turn after all, but there is something i need to discuss with you, regarding my friend, meet me tonight at these co-ordinates, byes!"


that evening she stood waiting before some fancy restaurant, it looked expensive but she offered to pay herself, fortunatly. she wasnt wearing her usual ranger attire but some sort of fance green dress and her hair was untied too, she kind of looked like a different person but she was easy to recognize by her mannerisms however.

"Yes dear." He said through a happy smile and in a soft tone. However deep in the pit of his stomach he knew it was a lie, he didn't have the time nor patience for it, he also knew Sylvia wouldn't notice it, and hopefully her friend wouldn't either. After that he said his goodbyes and then left. He had a hop in his step because he knew everything was going his way, it was almost too easy. Everything seemed to be playing into his hands.

Meanwhile back at the apartment. Jessie had made good time, everything was done. The house was clean, everything was placed and packed up neatly. Jessie had even had time to make herself some food, and catch up on reading. However something growled in the pit of her stomach, and it wasn't her hunger. Her eyes would keep on flickering to the clock on the wall, every two minuets and so. She was actually worried about where Sylvia was. The thought of her with that man brought up feelings of jealousy and anger. She cared about Sylvia, a lot, and it was just the fact that this guy only wanted her for her looks and nothing else is what bothered her. If the laws weren't a thing she would of broken the mans hand the first time he uttered an unwelcomed word about Sylvia. 

Later that evening Brad showed up, in a smart black suit, to the restaurant on time. He didn't seem to carry anything with him at first sight, but the fact that he held his hands behind his back told a different story. He approached the table with his normal handsome smile. "You look stunning, Sylvia." Brad complemented as he revealed what was in his hands. It was a small bundle of flowers, consisting of roses and other earthly variants and then much more exotic types. Inside the bundle was a small card that held the writing. "To my love, Sylvia."

she didnt see him at first and seemed to be texting to jessie, texts about brad actually and what his name and such was, but when she noticed brad she finished her message and put the device away in some purse and smiles at him. "hiiii im so glad you co- oh is that for me again? brad thank you so much!" she says as she stands up to kiss his cheek and then sits down, then after dinner has been served to the two sylvia proposes her "masterplan" to brad. "so, i've noticed my friend jessie doesnt like you for some reason, so i want to have you to meet, so on our next day what do you say if we met up with her and took her somewhere as well? i'd pay for her entry if you want..."

As Sylvia uttered the first word about her plan a very real frown came to his face. Clenching his fist lightly, his body language showed some type of anger. It was as if Sylvia had just said all of her feelings towards him were just one huge prank. "Sylvia... I don't want to come off as rude but, no." He said through gritted teeth. "I don't think meeting the likes of that little scythe wielding girl would be a good idea. I've had my conversations with her before, and I rather not be subjected to that kind of treatment again!" Brad said almost within a shout, however he realised he could of been making a scene, especially with the waiters eyes already on him. Forcing himself to calm down he took a couple deep breaths before looking back a Sylvia. "Sorry but no." He said quite sternly.

Once the waiter eventually came around, Brad ordered a couple drinks. He had a plan now. He would just need to get Sylvia drunk, and then he'd be able to easily take her home.
