| Darkstone Prisons (Private Objective): Find and Rescue Jaya from the caves and dungeons that lie within the mountains. The Battlefield (Open Objective): Alongside Heaven's armies, push back the Demon's forces to claim victory on Oblivion. Theme: War Pigs - 300 Cut------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Objective: The Battlefield Location: UNSC Magnifique Bridge
"Exiting hyperspace." The Lt. Commander to Dumont's side announced as usual, tapping on his screen as the ship evened out into the atmosphere of Oblivion. All around them flew giant vessels of white and gold metal, with bright yellow energy surging through them. "Take a high frequency and let the Angels know we're here to help." He commanded, at which point those around him seemed confused. "They might not have our technology, but they have magic that can interpret our signals. Now send the message." After the clarification, his crew got to work without hesitation.
"Okay, Knights," Dumont turned to his private communications with the others, addressing them all as Knights whether they liked it or not. After all they were here for Jaya, and she would have wanted it so. "We're heading straight for where Jaya is, a place called the Isle of Torment. As lovely as it sounds we haven't got time for a holiday, so we need to make it quick. The Angels are currently engaged in the forest, so we're dropping in to the north of that. Kitty and Gavin, you'll be taking a dropship even farther north to the prison. It's your job to find Jaya, and kill the bitch who has her captive."
"Everyone else, you'll roll out to the frontlines of the battle and push those demons back. If we can help the Angels claim Oblivon, they'll let us take Jaya home without a fight." With a tap of his fingers on his screen he then added; "Get ready for insertion in 30 seconds." |

| After checking his two pistols and sword, Dan looked up to the others in the Magnifique's hangar bay. Gavin, Kitty, Sebastian and his spartans; plus the dozens of UNSC soldiers readying to depart for the battle. As much as he had wanted to help find Jaya, he realised it best to help the soldiers on the frontline. Kitty could handle herself, and Dan knew he could help win the battle.
"Kitty," He gestured for her to come to the side for a moment, away from the others. Once just out of earshot, he placed his hand on her arm. For a moment he simply looked at her, thinking about everything that had happened and was going to happen. "I know I've fucked up in the past, and I mean alot, but when you bring Jaya back." He paused for a moment. "We can make things rights, just bring her back. And kill Lana while you're at it." Suddenly the call for them to board their seperate drop ships came, and Dan seemed as if he were to pull away instantly. Instead though he hesitated, then leaned in to kiss Kitty. "I love you." He said, before finally turning to board the same ship as Sebastian and his squad.
Taking his seat on there, he awaited his arrival on the ground. |

| Kitty just blinked for a solid minute, she could swear she still felt his lips there before she unfroze and her face contorted in anger. "You don't just say that and walk away you dick monkey!" She screamed after him, despite the fact that he probably didn't hear her. She wrapped her arms around herself, frowning and looking at the floor. "You didn't let me say it back."
"I can pass on the message for you sis." Came Diana's cheeky reply from behind her, Kitty whipped around and her face turned as red as her hair. "You said you had something for me Kit Kat?" "Yes, here." Kitty pulled her sister into a tight hug. "Stay safe okay?" Kitty said softly before nudging her sister in the direction of Sebastian's squad, "Go, kick some ass. Make sure Dan doesn't get cocky and die." "Aye Aye Cap!"
Kitty chuckled before walking back over to Gavin, her face growing serious and her hand resting on the hilt of the old sword in her sheath while the other clasped around a strange orb like pendant around her neck. "You ready to do this?"

| Sebastisn boarded his drop pod along with Spartans Masterson and Kalashnikov. Some marines also accompanied them to provide for additional support in the battlefield. |

| Gavin turned his head to face Kitty after she addressed him. His only reply was "Let's go" before he turned to enter their own dropship on which they would depart to the northernmost areas of the Isle of Torment. |

| The first dropship to reach it's destination would be Kitty and Gavin's, as it touched down gently at the foot of the three large mountains. From intel they knew these natural formations had been hollowed out and linked up to create countless dungeons for the most dangerous and high value prisoners on Oblivion. Of course Jaya was dangerous, but she had only been placed here to ensure any rescue attempt was near impossible. The amount of security and deadly prisoners kept here were sure to keep any heroes away.
Just in case though, Lana sat by Jaya's cell in the very core of the mountain, enjoying their daily talks. The poor angel didn't seem to enjoy them mind, but then again none of her victims ever dead. Torture wasn't to everyone's taste.
A large metal frame held the opening to the main mountain, casting shadows to the entrance chamber inside. |

| Soon after the other group would drop straight into the frey at their destination. The sounds of arrows, magic and clashing swords filled the air as Angels and Demons fought as far as the eyes could see. For now the frontlines lay right in the thick of an old dead forest, with both sides using the abundance of cover to their advantage. Meanwhile the UNSC would drop in the midst of the two sides, turning to face the demons and make a stand with the army of Heaven.
Dan himself dropped down with both his pistols in hand. Firstly he opened fire in two different directions, before closing the angle at which he shot until both of his guns fired at a rather large demon infront of him. Spraying multiple shots into it's head, the beast finally sustained enough damage to keel over. Once finished with that beast, he moved on to firing at the more common human-sized demons. |

| Kitty cracked her knuckles, stepping out of her drop pod and landing on the rocky terrain that was Oblivion. Already she could feel the negative energies of the planet eating away at her, but her focus was what kept her control intact. She withdrew her sword, twirling the blade around in her hand before fire swiftly engulfed the blade until it cast an eerie glow on the ground. "Let's get this show on the road then, eh?" She said to Gavin before starting to make her way over to the mountains. She was going to save her daughter. |

| Diana was moving as soon as her pod landed, bursting through the door as an array of ice shards left her fingertips and moved towards the demons. Instead of engaging enemies one on one as her sister usually did she focused on attacking groups with her powers. She skated out of reach of some of the demons, although on occasion a few weapons did skim her skin but it quickly healed. Her wrists flicked and her fingers wiggled, ice shooting up from the ground in the form of stalagmites under the feet of unsuspecting demons. She also raised her palms, walls shooting up from the paths of ice and beginning to shove demons this way and that to disorient them and keep them off guard. |

| Sebastian had ordered Kalashnikov to lay down covering fire with her sniper rifle while he and Masterson charged into the fight. The intensity of the battle made is to that they were forced to resort to their close range weapons; differing variants of shotguns to take down the normal human sized demons within one or two shots. For the moment, they chose to steer clear of the larger ones and eliminate their support first. |

| Gavin looked at Kitty and nodded. A blanket of flames engulfed his body and what was left standing in his place was the Ghost Rider in his flaming skeletal form.
He conjured a chain made of his etheral fire and whipped it in front of him, flicking off a few balls of fire from the tip of it that flew through the entrance and landed on the inside of the hollowed out mountain, providing them with light. |

| "Who goes there?" A bellowing voice called out as the first chamber suddenly became illuminated. The rock was dark and rough, carved out by slaves and prisoners. In it's center stood the large figure, 9 feet tall with skin rotting from the bone. It's face had been sewn up multiple times; no doubt it was an undead abomination of sorts. Tasked with the task of Jailor over the Darkstone Prisons, he took his job very seriously.
"Turn back, or suffer for eternity in my prison." He threatened, turning his whole body to face the intruders and revealing the giant double-bladed axe held in his right hand. With a grunt he stared the two down, giving them a chance to flee. |

| "The humans come to our aide!" An angel black of skin and wearing great golden armour called out to his allies, retrieving his blue glowing sword from the chest of a demon. "Rally beside them and push back these beasts!" He shouted as he charged forward, allowing his wings to propel him some distance before clashing swords with one of the greater demons.
Meanwhile Dan moved his way through the enemy quickly, using speed and agility to weave through them and deliver bullets to their unsuspecting sides. Every once in a while he would have to resort to melee combat to free himself of a beast's grip, but his progress continued nonetheless.
"Push them into the swamps!" The Angel ordered, and his kin all pushed hard against their enemy. Swords and spells clashed in a bright display of battle, with the tide seemingly in favour of Heaven, for now. |

| Kitty glared up at the beast, her right eye twitching in annoyance. She had had enough of obstacles between her and her daughter. Her hand tightened around the swords handle until her knuckles turned white, her jaw clenching. "My name is Kittiana Youngblood. I am here for my daughter." She snarled out, anger flashing in her blue eyes. "We will not be turning back. So either get out of our way, or put it up." |

| Diana grunted as one of the demons managed to get its arms around her, wrestling around in its grip. Ice crawled down her arm, forming a spike around her elbow which she promptly slammed back into the demon's stomach before wiggling out his grip. She bent down, her fingertips touching the ground as a sheet of ice started crawling rapidly across the ground in front of her. Then she swept her hands off the ground and to the side, the ice sliding up drastically along with them like a frozen wave. Then she moved one of her palms up, an ice wall rising from the ground before she slammed her two palms together effectively crushing the demons she had knocked off balance with the wave. |

| "Converge on the big one!" Sebastian ordered the two Spartans. Spartan Kalashnikov moved to get a better angle at the large demon that Sebastian had highlighted with his Heads-Up-Display. She aimed through her scope and fired a round at it's head. The demon was in the midst of battle and due to it's sudden movements, she missed. However the sound of the shot as it whizzed by caught its attention and Kalashnikov was now in its sights.
The demon began to advance with intent, ignoring the fights taking place around it as it fixated its attention on the Spartan. Kalashnikov was unphased by the demon's advance and instead fired another shot at its chest. The demon jerked backwards slightly from the impact, paused and then continued to move onwards towards her, summoning a ball of white-hot fire in its hand. However Kalashnikov had already changed tactics and shot a round into its kneecap. The bones in that area shattered and the demon was brought down on one knee. At the same time, Sebastian leapt onto its back and slammed a dagger into the back of its neck. The demon bellowed out loud from the pain and the ball of fire in its hand died. The demon began to shake its back and reach backwards to grab at the armoured human. However Sebastian maintained footing on the demons back and used this position to stay away from its rear. He climbed up slightly and repeatedly stabbed the dagger down into the back of the demon's neck, black blood gushing out like a fountain.
The demon was now on all fours and was severely weakened. Sebastian maintained his grip on its back as it grunted weakly. Masterson, just then arrived on scene and finished the demon off with a shotgun blast to its head. |

| The Ghost Rider's human side was slightly caught and phased by the words of the Jailor. "Eternal imprisonment?" He thought. Was that something he was willing to risk? He didn't even know the capabilities of these beings, they could be far more powerful than they know. For all they had hoped, maybe this mission was destined for failure.
However the Ghost Rider persona took back over and dismissed the fears. No. He was no longer "just" a human. He was a force of immense power. He was The Ghost Rider. Centuries of battles had done nothing to destroy him, and he shall win this fight as well.
The Ghost Rider stepped through the makeshift gate and gazed up at the large Jailor. His blackened, empty eye sockets began to glow as small balls of fire grew within them, like large pupils. "Recognise the face of vengeance, demon. For there is no mercy from me!" He threatened. "Step aside, and I may just excuse you of your sins!" |

| "None shall leave my prison," The Jailor spoke to Kitty, before turning his head to the Ghost Rider. "There are no sins here, only torment." Without warning the giant swung his axe in a wide sweep, grinding it's metal across the floor with a deafening screech. It aimed to sweep the two at knee-height, going for both of the intruders in one go. Once done with it's first sweep it would waste no time recoiling back for a second one. |

| As the spartans downed a giant demon together, Dan gave them a cocky smirk. In his mind he respected their accomplishment as mortal men, but outwardly he couldn't help but show off. Holstering his pistols first, he jumped up to a surprising height at which he unsheathed the rather large sword from his back. On his way down he aimed to land on a giant demon, specifically slicing straight down it's center. By the time he landed blood had sprayed all over, and the demon's form fell almost perfectly in half. Once his performance was over, he shot a quick glance at the Spartans to make sure they had watched it.
Across the frontlines the Angel's leader continued to rally his forces forward. However, as the army of Heaven seemed to be in control, the ground began to shake from all around. At first it was unclear what had caused it, until suddenly some of the dead trees began moving. Large wooden hands swiped outwards in an attempt to clear the ranks of soldiers; whilst roots ripped up from the ground as the dormant Ents of the forest awoke in service of their demonic masters. |

| Kitty moved swiftly out of the way of the oncoming axe, narrowly avoiding the second swing when it came down. Kitty let out a growl, fire spreading across her skin as she sheathed the sword. Her sword wouldn't be much of a match against the massive axe, no sense in using it. Basketball sized fireballs began to form in her palms, when they had finished forming she threw one forward aiming for the giants head while the other aimed for his foot. "I don't have time for this." She snarled once more, clenching her hands into fists before throwing out a few more fireballs towards the giant. |

| Diana rolled her eyes, shaking her head at Dan's display. "Hey show off! Cool it, Kitty said she'll shove her bare foot up your ass if you get too cocky!" That was not exactly what she said, but Diana loved to embellish. She swung her arms around, stalagmites continually rising beneath demons with the intent of either knocking them down or injuring them. Diana nearly fell over when the ground began to shake, ducking when a wooden hand swiped at her. She began to focus more towards the Ents, swiping her hands up to make the stalagmites fly off of the ground so she could smash them into trees. |

| Sebastian watched as Dan took down a large demon with minimal effort. He was as Dan wanted; thoroughly impressed. His mind for a moment was clouded by thoughts. This show of strength was what scared ONI. If people like him ever turned against humanity, no one would be safe.
"Sir! New contacts!" Masterson announced over the comms. Sebastian was snapped out of his session of pondering and he turned his attention to the wooden limbs and roots attacking their forces. "Marines! Use incendiary grenades! Scatter and mind your surroundings!" Sebastian commanded over the comms as he moved to a safer area on the field at the same time. Sebastian turned his attention to a bundle of roots advancing towards him rapidly. He quickly reloaded his assault rifle and switched the firing mode to "shredder rounds".
Taking aim at the mass of roots, he opened fire and hoped to use the sharper projectiles to deadlier effect. Meanwhile marines across the battlefield tried to gain strategic positions by clearing themselves of enemies and roots and wooden hands, before throwing their incendiary into the paths of the new hostiles. However some were too slow and promptly caught and killed by either the trees or the surviving demons. |

| The Ghost Rider dove into a roll towards the left. As he hit the ground, the axe swiped right over his body as he lay flat on the ground. He quickly brought himself to his feet and began to charge at the Jailor, however he failed to anticipate the second swipe and the sharp end hit him like a heavy blow, severing multiple ribs on the left side of his chest and sending him flying across the arena.
The Ghost Rider hit the floor hard and slid along it before friction caused him to slow down and stop some meters away from one of the walls. Grunting, he managed to haul himself up and clutched at his side. His demonic form ensured that the wounds he had sustained already began to heal, but he had felt the pain and to his human persona, it was excruciating. However the Ghost Rider did not care, as he was nothing more than hellbent on eliminating his adversary. Pain was but a distraction and as that thought occurred, he charged back into the fight. |

| Fireballs crawled up the rotting skin of the abomination, but there seemed to be little reaction. Pain was something that had long been ripped away from him ever since his wretched creation. Despite being seemingly emotionless, the Jailor grinned when his axe slammed into the Ghost Rider and sent him sliding along.
"Pathetic."
This small accomplishment drove him on, causing him to step forward and attempt to clamp his spare hand down on Kitty and hold her to the floor. From there his aim was to crush her, as she was a puny being compared to the giant. |

| Although the Ents were met with hard retaliation, they had given the Demons enough time to regain their morale and mount another assault. Their lines fell in hard on the Angels and Humans, whos attentions were now divided by the enemy infront and around them. Some of the Ents began to wrap their roots around soldiers, holding them still until they were either suffocated or finished off by a demon.
Dan himself returned his attention to the demons, switching to his pistols once again to try and hold off the incoming forces. Waves of them fell over each other as they charged him, but alas even he couldn't hold the line alone. The Angels were now being pushed back through the forest. |
