Chapter Eight: Lucian's Arena Fight

The night had ended as Lucifer was sleeping on his throne until he heard a faint opening of the castle doors. The sun had shined its light into the castle when it had opened. With the doors then closing, Lucifer regains his senses as he looks up and sees people approaching him. It had seemed that Synth had set up an arena fight that was scheduled for today. Synth tells Lucifer that and he gets up following Synth to go see it. Lucifer was always interested in combat since he was banished. He took a great liking to it as he channeled his inner demon most of the time. They both walked to the arena not far from the castle. 

Once they had got there, both of them sat at the top where a red luxurious cloth was on the bottom of it. Lucifer's hand picked his favorite arena fighter to win in this fight. Suddenly, a person with a tux came out into the arena in the middle of it and started building up hype for the fight. He announced it was "Karlene vs The Dangerous Brothers" that they were the ones fighting for today. It was highly unfair though because Lucifer trained with Karlene not too long for these fights. He showed her a lot of tips and tricks to use during combat situations. The crowd had cheered loudly as the announcer was finished and the fight had just started. There was an alarm bell which triggered the opening of all the cages for the warriors to come out of. The brothers had came out to the middle of the arena fearlessly as Karlene was the one who stayed in the cage as it was left open. 

The brothers looked at each other then one of them decided to go check out her cage. He regretted it because once he got in there she surprise attacked him. She slit his throat and kicked him onto the ground right outside of her cage and then came out running full force at the brothers. It had seemed she had taken some of Lucifer's own strategies into consideration. Karlene was fighting against the brothers as the crowd roared with excitement every slice and kill. Synth glances at Lucifer noticing he was into it but wasn't cheering then looks back at the arena. Lucifer is noticing how deadly she actually is in the arena. He was shocked with just a couple of training sessions how good in combat she is. It was clear that Karlene had been secretly training with combat on the side as she worked inside of Lucifer's castle. 

Lucifer and the crowd watches her fight against the brothers putting up a good fight. She inflames the swords she had on each hand slicing and slashing at her opponents. Their swords and armor clash against each other as they block her attacks. She quickly runs at one of the brothers then does a front flip over him and once behind him she pierces both of the swords into his back taking them out as well having the brother fall to the floor dead. She grins and she gets into a defending pose waiting for the last brother to attack. Lucifer starts to pay more attention now that things are getting down to the last knot. The last brother picks an axe off the arena's ground and throws it at her but she dodges it having it get stuck into an arena wooden door. She looks back at him and runs at him throwing both of her swords into the air as he looks at them not paying attention to her, she does a double foot kick which kicked him in the stomach making him fly back to his side of the arena onto the floor in pain and passed out as she stands still getting her swords back from the air. Once this was done, the crowd roars in excitement as she looks at Lucifer and smiles at him then shows her excitement for the win. 

{There will be several NPC's within the chapters that are just sideline characters which are kill-able for lore sake}
