On Omega Station-August 2565.

She ran across the metallic steps littered with puddles of dirty water dripping from the air conditioning vents,she would at times turn her head to see if she was still being followed,she would curse at the sight of two goons she knew was working for one of the many gangs that basically "ran" Omega,these two goons specifically had been watching her two days ago snooping around her quarters and asking the local squatters about her.....She did not know why,she intends to leave Omega before she finds out.

"Get the girl and bring er to the boss" Simple enough orders for these two to follow,the burly human and his orcish friend would close in on the girl,they had to be discreet about it because this area they where in now was the territory of an rival crime lord.....Still the girl suspected them,they would probably have to use force....The human kept his right hand next to his holster where an old UNSC pistol stood rusted and battered.

She took an detour into an pub owned by an Nekrax bartender,the skeleton would look up with it's hollow eyes and grin at the girl. "I ain't hiring any more showgirls miss....." The girl would bite her lip as the sweat coated her face...She then hid behind the counter keeping her finger locked on her lips towards the undead bartender who quickly understood what she was in.

The two goons would enter the pub,scanning through the lackcluster amount of drunkards wasting away in the pub before shaking their heads and left with an pace.

A younger looking female woman would enter the bar just after the goons had left, sitting at the counter and ordering herself a shot of whisky. She would clearly not look like she was from around the place, and has only come to this bar for its secluded nature. The woman would be wearing a light jacket over her light armor, with a pistol holster to her, and she would scan the bar while she drinks her shot of the whisky.

a young androgenous man? woman? enters the bar. They seem to chuck something out aways. "Hmm, I wonder where that girl went, was gonna help her if it went sour"

"They are gone miss...." The Nekrax bartender would casually say before the oriental woman lifted her head to see if it was safe,with an sigh she walks to the other side of the counter with an smirk pulling out several striplets of credits sliding them towards the bartender. "Anything this can afford" she would say in an heavy breath.

The Nekrax bartender would take the credits and return with an generously cold cocktail of several spirits. "Here you go the Valdonian Mix,should calm your nerves." He said with his expressionless skull.The girl would take the cold cocktail and continuously take small sips as she silently cursed under her breath.

How the bloody hell is she going to get out of this mess....The goons probably have all the ports covered.....Then she stood from the bar walking to each group asking them if they where mercs for hire.

Zoey would watch the woman from her spot in the bar, downing her shot of whisky and handing the bartender a handful of credits. When the woman came over to her spot, Zoey would take a moment to look her over before speaking.

“What kind of money are you paying and what do you want done” Zoey says in a somewhat bored tone, leaning herself against the bar counter.

"well, I did take their extra clips away.. So what did you do?" the androgynous person asks sitting next to the woman who ran in. "Something sweet" he hands the bartender a couple dozen credits.

The Nekrax bartender would take the money and rush to his next customer who asked for something sweet,he would then go to mixing an exotic blend called the Venus longrun which had an small ting of cinnamon.

The girl was surprised by the two sudden mercs that came to her aid....She introduced herself as Kathrine Olsen an young human girl in her early 30's who until this point has done nothing of note.She seemed distressed and would drown away her stress with sips from the cocktail.

"I haven't done anything and I am willing to pay.....100 credits just for an escort off Omega....50 credits for the both of you that's all I got....Please help me."

"They've blocked off all the nearby ports, I know you've done more than nothing." The person also sighs "And I am not in it for the money, I would like to know what you actually did."

Zoey would be tapping her fingers on the bar counter as she listens to the woman. "Well, unless you want to tell your story, I can just get you out of this place pretty quickly. And I think I know a way to do it without you being spotted, though granted you would need to come on my ship with me when we leave"
Zoey would just say all of this partially to herself, but still directed at the woman. There would also be a clear lack of communication with the other merc.

Kathrine would bite her lip,before explaining. "Look I haven't done anything rash,I've smuggled salvage an few time to survive on this hellhole but it's nothing for the crime-lords to close the ports...I don't know what's going on and I intend to get off this rock before I find out the hard way.

She finished her drink and looked towards the one merc. "Alright if you got an ship let's get out of here then." She turned to the other merc. "If you want answers your welcome to go ask the goons,or tag along whatever I want off this station."

Zoey would get up and straighten her well kept jacket, and adjust something underneath it. She would look to the other merc and speak in usual off handed tone

"You can tag along too, but your not leaving with me"

"I can't wait lets get out of here...lets head for your ship." She would say before she turned around to the Nekrax bartender placing her hands together in an gesture of thanks to which the skeleton nodded.

Outside the pub it was chilly and empty like most of Omega's isolated corridors,the goons where nowhere in sight as the gangs converged to the ports hoping to catch their prey before it could flee.The goons did not question why they would go to such lengths to find this specific woman,there where several very strange cases where random people would be sought after by the crime lords,these people are never again seen on Omega...For Bill Hox an old gangster and former sheriff this strange event seemed connected but he dared not voice his concern to his boss,he would stay at the port-entrance his face hidden under an old cowboy hat only lit under the light of an thin cigarette,his right hand clenched on an belt that holstered an silvery revolver.

Zoey would be keeping an eye on the place as she walks back to a port, using the thermal vision in her eye to make sure noone was invisible and hiding. As they got near to one of the ports, Zoey would turn to the woman.

"Ok, so to make sure noone sees you, you will be leaving as me"

And with that, Zoey would unclip her bracelet, and her clean face and well kept appearance would show a different tale. The right side of her face would be blackened, looking like a cross between and burn victim and necrosis. Her hair would be a stark white on that side as well, with the mechanical eye very noticable now. Zoey would then hand the woman the bracelet, and her jacket.

"Hopefully this works out, im not in a shooting mood today"

Kathrine would not question how this will work,nor did she ask about the wounds her escort carried,she was too focused on getting past the guarded ports that she kept her place,muttering thanks for the disguise.

The two would pass Hox,the grizzled outlaw tipping his hat to the two ladies and gave an nod for them to pass,completely oblivious as he looked down to the compact tablet that contained an image of Kathrine.Why would such an girl place the kingpins of Omega on the edge.

The port was relatively busy as traders and their guards would stand speaking with the reps of the various crime-lords trying to secure an deal for their luxurious habits,bounty hunters would come and go with their exotic and varied ships and of course the strict representatives of the Serpentum Imperium coming with large freighters to browse the collection the slavers of Omega kept.

The man moves up ahead of you, rolling something into one of the mobsters ships. He moves back into the croud as several seconds later a loud electric beep goes off as the inside is covered in several different colors of dye, you can also smell the concentrated ammonia from where you stand.
