Built after the completion of New Serpentum,these ships are one of many designs the Imperium's Shipwrights division built to support the large,powerful but ultimately slow capital ships the Imperium prefers to deploy.The Drak Class is armed with many point defense systems aimed in disrupting enemy fighters,bombers and lighter space craft such as Corvettes.
Allowing the Drak Class to protect the larger and more armed cruisers and battleships of the Serpentum Armada.

The Drak Class like most Imperial ships in the Armada employs the use of High Impact-shielding which protects the ship from high amounts of fire with little energy usage.However the shields are set to absorb projectiles at certain speeds meaning slow moving explosive payloads from bombers could slip right past the shield to the armour.

The Drak Class carries a crew of up to 440 with limited storage space to carry a single contingent of legionnaires or marines.Each Drak class is commanded by an trained Commodore.
