Powers
Malachi himself is very little to speak of. Starting out life as a small time crook and grave robber he's in good physical condition himself and self taught in a variety of common weaponry. His true power is not his own.

From Belial he has gained the power to control energy, pure energy in a form of magic mostly lost to time and known by few to begin with. He can draw this directly from himself as any other spellcaster would, however he is also able to harvest it if willingly given or taken to strengthen himself. A few of it's usages include creating items and weapons, shielding and telekinesis as well as imbuing it into objects. Due to the nature of his power it is a very versatile tool.

The amount of power however that can be wielded by Malachi at his current point is miniscule, although Belial contains power to rival even the gods to channel such through his host would kill him, a fate that would be terrible for both of them. In times of dire need however Belial can loosen the seal on his powers, allowing Malachi for a short amount of time to access far more of his demonic power, doing so however causes great damage to his body that if left untended can be fatal.

History
Home Planet: Argelon (Technology Level: Medieval ages)
Malachi grew up with no proper parental figure, him being an accident and his mother being a prostitute and the only male figures in his life being the men that came and went. As such he had quickly learned to fend for himself, running odd jobs for meals and occasionally performing some less than legal deeds also to get by. As he grew the illegal jobs began to outnumber the legal, and in an effort to turn him straight his mother enrolled him in the local guard of his town. Unfortunately for her all that served to do was give him proper training with the weapons he'd been using for so long, that and a way to steal what he needed before he left.

The time after he'd left his hometown was occupied mainly with freelance work, filled in with the occasional tomb robbing and mercenary contract that made him a fair bit of coin. It was a simple life for the man but one that he enjoyed, doing exactly as he pleased and getting paid to do it. Unfortunately it ended quite quickly after he made a discovery in one particular tomb.
