Equipment
"The Staff of Armageddon" - In its original form, the staff is metallic-black and 12ft long and around 20cm thick. The staff is adorned with intricate golden patterns with its base ending in a spiked tip that seems to be some sort of glowing, ruby-red stone attached to the bottom of the staff. The top of the staff has four golden "claws" that extended diagonally up and outwards, before curling back inwards in an arc-like shape. In the middle of these claws is also a larger red stone that is spiked, the tip of which extends a few centimeters above the claws. The length of the staff itself is lined with dark-red stones. A grip is located at the middle of the staff, which wraps around it so that the user may wield it comfortably. A red aura seems to constantly emanate from the staff, accompanied by some dark mist.

The staff itself is able to shape-shift; an ability which is controlled by the handler's mind. As soon as it is picked up, a dark-red and black aura begins to lightly envelope the user and imbues them with a slight increase in physical power, as well as a small boost in any other powers they may possess. The wielder is able to morph the staff into any handheld weapon they desire - be it an axe or a machine gun. The weapon would like identical in shape, but bear some of the same design traits as the staff, i.e. metallic black with golden patterns. The staff's version of the weapon also seems to be much "better" than the weapon it is imitating. For example, it would be much sharper than an axe, or the ammunition shot from it would be much more effective at penetrating armor. There are however, some unique weapons he is unable to replicate. Examples include the Arclight Blade and the Blightslayer, among a few others.

History
A lot of Armageddon's history is unknown. His origins, real name, and how he came to the position of being the commander of The Apocalypse is unclear. Some myths collected and gathered from ancient archives in demonic ruins suggest that Armageddon is not a demon, rather a separate race that predate them, but are in some ways similar but different just as much. He was said to have been one of many individuals recruited to be the second in command to a "Horrifying Power" that is now disappeared. Armageddon was said to have waged war against the Universe before the "combined forces of the Universe managed to overthrow him and others who shared his position" and killed him and imprisoned The Apocalypse.

Approximately a few million years later, Armageddon was revived by the Demon Prince Endymion and once again tried to wage war against the Universe with what remained of The Apocalypse. First, he attempted to take control of the Eye of Time before resorting to "cleansing" planets in a scheme to create "fortress worlds" using the Purge Cannon. His attempts were constantly thwarted by the combined forces of the UNSC, supernaturals and other species across the galaxy.

Armageddon was once again slain by Kittiana Calypso Youngblood when he was caught off-guard. He was impaled through the heart by the Arclight Blade on the lower platform underneath his fortress that hovered over Earth. His corpse plummeted towards the planet and crashed in a tropical forest, not to be discovered for another year. His heart was since kept by Kittiana as a trophy.

When his body was discovered by what remained of the demon race, an attempt was made to revive Armageddon by Draetheus and the demon remnant through the use of the Temporal Shards, however this was again thwarted by the forces of the UNSC and their allied supernaturals, which ultimately resulted in the demise of Draetheus.

Armageddon's corpse was later recovered by ONI and now remains in their custody at an unknown location. Since the death of Kittiana, his heart was also taken into their custody.
