| Sylvia had taken a break from Immortal missions and her hazardous missions to free 1 maybe 2 slaves each times, she had been visiting planets with medieval time periods, she needed to feel at home before she could join the rest of the universe, galazy who knows what's out there, she just wanted to redeem herself before she joined a more alien living world...that is...if she could get herself out of this...
yes...she once more got herself into trouble, on the planet she is now, elves were mythical creatures and didnt exist, in most vilages she was met with praise, so much praise it got a little annoying and it forced her to cover her ears with her hair, perhaps she should not have done that because her glowing weapons and potions led many to believe she was a witch, sylvia not looking to create a bloodbath surrendered foolishly, because now all she could see from herself is the executioner readying the burning stake. a few hours later she was taken from her cell and brought to the execution court, she struggled as much as she could, but with her being a sun elf and not very strong she ended up chained to the stake soon enough...
she was yelling and crying as soon as the guards pulled her out of her cell and she only got more desperate when she ended up on the stake and she saw the torch aproach, not even her current armor could protect her from being incinerated. there was not much she could do however besides yelling "im not a witch!" but no one paid mind to it, just pleading for her innocence got her nothing. as the fire got bigger she flinched under the flashes, she tried to think of an escape plan, its been a very long time (over 3000 years) since she was close to dying since she actualy died before being ressurected by the shady medical company trying to weaponize her. it was strangely reminiscent to her past as the lord of the castle also seemed to keep slaves, she should have raided this place but that chance has passed away. her only hope were her animals who should already be on her way, but would they arrive on time... |

| She always viewed people who haven’t reached space age technology, weak. The cloaked being stood in the crowd watching things unfold. Not sure why people always viewed magic as evil. Did it have to do with the certain actions of certain people? Causing panic and chaos among the weak and stupid. There is also people who could have a prejudice view of magic. Spreading lies and false rumors about anyone who would use magic, just to further their agenda. She only watched as the woman had been dragged out and placed on the post. The man moved forward and lifted the torch. Many chants filled the courtyard as they wanted to “Burn the Witch”. The figure raised her hand up slowly. Extending her fingers, the man with the torch stopped. He twitched a bit until his eyes began to bleed. It flowed out into the air and began to form a ball above him. He twitched again and he began to bleed out of his nose, mouth, and ears. Like a fountain, all the man’s blood went towards the ball of blood forming above. The body began to shrivel up and he fell to the ground. The crowd instantly scattered in fear. No one had seen magic like that and no one wanted to stay around and wait for result. The lone cloaked figure stood there not moving one bit. The hand still raised and fingers still extended. “Why do you bother with weaklings? Peasants that haven’t even discovered the combustion engine. You come here wielding magic and not expect fear to grip people who think that tossing salt over their shoulder saves them from bad luck.” The ball of blood sent out a whip like attack and cut the binds that held the girl to the stake. Releasing her she looked at her one more time before closing her raised hand into a fist. The blood changed into energy and it floated towards the cloaked figure. The figure seemed to inhale the energy into her. A red haze covered her for only a minute and it had finished. “I recommend leaving this world. I won’t save you again.” |

| Danihg gazed at the scenery and grinned happily to see someone die shriveling up into a husk without blood. Hidden in the shrubbery he stalked a few of the peasants leaping onto them breaking bone and tearing limb by limb just for the joy of it.
The cyborg crawled out to the two people who were there like a six legged animal with a long scorpion like tail. He snarled with his ears and lips pulled back as if he was about to attack them, "He isn't... I am... He never calls... I do... He is life... I am death... He is fire and water... I am earth and wind... He is of the light... I am of the darkness..."
He stood up hunched but oddly enough he was calm, too calm for anyone who knows him. Cocking his head he scanned the area around him backing off slowly, "Would've just watched for bit before coming in but someone else beat me to it it seems..." He said in a soft and calm voice. |

| Ryckert sat comfortably in a bench a few yards removed from the rest of the bloodthirsty peasants demanding the life of the pointy eared girl. He had come to this planet for a short vacation. Ryckert liked coming to low tech worlds, he could act like a god here for a few weeks; spend his days drinking, fucking, and killing his way to a good time. The best they could do was sling arrows at him, and his power shield was more than capable enough of deflecting that. Then the fun really began when they would send their best against him, only to see them fly back with a shotgun blast to the chest. Ryckert had arrived to this town a few days ago, spending much of his time sleeping with the local girls and drinking himself to sleep. He had heard about the execution happening in the afternoon and decided to break his cycle for today to witness something so deliciously medieval. Ryckert had seen his own fair share of executions, but the talk of a witch and the peasants own seething hate had made him decide to take a quick look. Ryckert had brought along a bottle of local red wine with him and had been sipping from it throughout the trial, taking a twisted pleasure from noticing the elf girl was not a witch, but someone like him, an off worlder, though she was in over her head. Ryckert though about maybe doing something, but he wanted to sleep with the local priest’s daughter, who was up in the front of the crowd demanding the witch burn slowly. Watching such a sweet woman go into such a righteous rage really did it for him. They lit the fire and Ryckert put on his headphones and covered his face with his scarf. The sound of someone burning to death wasn’t exactly pleasant and the smell, well, it was horrific. The elf girl started panicking, asking for help, but her cries went unheeded, then the executioner started gushing blood out of every orifice. Ryckert sat up, he had been ready for a show but this was a twist he was not expecting. The blood flowed freely from the man, he even levitated a few inches off the ground as the life was siphoned out of him until he was nothing more than a gray husk of meat on the floor. Ryckert almost cheered. The crowd went into a panic and instantly cleared out of the chamber, leaving only the elf girl, him, and a lone woman with a powerful presence. Interesting, thought Ryckert, very interesting. The cloaked women freed the elf girl and berated her for her foolishness. Ryckert took one final sip of the wine bottle before placing it to the side and getting up. The only way now of getting that preacher’s girl to bed was to stop this cloaked woman, making him the hero of the town. Maybe he could even get the mother involved? Ryckert pulled his two hand cannons out of their holsters and took a few steps forwards before hearing the screaming coming from outside. He turned to face the opened door and witnessed a creature he had never seen before. It began to slaughter the townsfolk, taking aim at the preacher’s daughter. Ryckert’s brow furrowed, this thing was about to ruin his plans, the creature lunged at the girl, but a local boy jumped and pushed her out of the way, taking the lethal bite himself in a final heroic moment. “Poor fool,” Ryckert said under his breath. Ryckert turned to the cloaked woman and pointed his gun at her. “I’ll deal with you later,” then he pointed at the elf girl,” and you, stay out of my way.”
Ryckert then went outside and began shooting at the fast moving creature before it did any more harm. His powerful hand cannons ripped through whatever it hit, stone, wood, a few unlucky peasants, but all he need was to place a few good hits on that damned creature. this day was turning out to be more fun than he had thought. |

| she pulled on the chains and pnaicked badly as the flash fire got in her face, all she could hope is not for it to leave a permament scar. as soon as her chains were cut she fell to the burning hay but quickly she got up and ran out of the fierey blaze she was trapped in. 'no time better to get to work' she thought as she drew her trusty light bow. she analyzed her surroundings and selected targets. the first one was the lord of the castle, he was an easy pick and she didnt even need to use her bow. it was easily solved by pulling him down from the elevated balcony with her grapple hook the height made sure he'd die...
the lady in dark robes seemed sinister at best, but so was spectre in dracholm and spectre wasnt evil, besides she saved her from a slow fierey death, she doubt she would be revived again. the feral animal beast outside would be her last target, while she would save the villagers, they did come to see her suffer so she couldnt care if some of them died. she turned to the other off worlder who told her to stay out of his way, she was not planning to do such a thing instead she would interfere with his plans. with the guards after her and her being more than able to kill them she could go for the slaves later.
she executed her plans and shot one of her grapples at the lord of the castle and pulled him down from the balcony, with an audible crack from his body he fell to the ground, killing him instantly. and now, finally a low lion like roar could be hear, but much, much louder and more menacing. then her fearsome beast, the lycanbear crashed through one of the castle walls like a rhino and roared again, it looked at its master and was commanded to attack her opponents. then she turned to ryckert, he was her next target, not that she wanted to kill him but at least neatralize him from the fight she shot all of her grapples out wich is 8 grapples being shot at him, if any of them would connect she could pull and restrict ryckert's ability to dodge properly... |

| They scattered indeed, not like they had any other choice. Though, it seems she wasn’t the only person who had been watching. She felt another creature killing random fleeing civilians. Wondering what was the point of such actions. It made no sense and it seemed mindless in a way. No matter, she turned her attention to a third person who had made an entrance. Ryckert, it is him. This made it much easier for her to talk to him. She had been watching him for some time and admired his talent. Ryckert walked up and point his gun towards her, “I’ll deal with you later.” He said towards her. The only response he got was a raiser eyebrow. The man, however seemed more focused on the creature that was attacking the civilians. She had no intention of stopping the two fighting. In fact, this would be a good test to see if the merc could handle a mindless killer. Her thoughts reminded her of the girl and how she needed to pay attention to her. The cloaked figure turned slightly around to watch her. The girl had obviously holding a grudge against the man or lord of these lands. How pointless it looked to her. Messing with primitives and their issues just because it upsets you. Having some “noble” code and killing the beings of lower technology made no sense to her. A larger animal appeared and somehow their attention turned towards the merc. Narrowing her eyes and moving her hands up towards the sky. A Quartz wall formed in front of the merc, blocking the grapples. “No, you will not interfere with their fight. You have killed enough today and have zero reason to attack a man who isn’t facing you. Coward.” |

| Danihg was not going to let himself be hit so easily and ran as fast as he could on all six's. He was about as fast as a running horse but far more agile like a fast predatory animal kicking up dirt. He roared like a psychotic beast whipping his long tail. He only gets in through just an inch and the man grabs his tail and pulls out a knife attempting to slash the ordrieys tail. The cyborg pulls it back only grazed by the weapon only to see the man pull out a shotgun and begins to shoot at him.
He dodges every bullet zigzagging and lunges in. He goes straight for Ryckert's face to bite and gets a shotgun shoved into his mouth. Taking it with his jaw he bites and swallows the piece before tossing the weapon to the ground. This gave the man a chance to shoot him which Danihg moves out of the way and laughs, "You think you could just take me?! I'm not going down easy!" |

| Ryckert grinned from ear to ear. This was fun! He hadn’t had anything challenging in a while, mostly self-righteous knights showing up demanding a duel with the powerful warrior that came out of nowhere. Ryckert had at first taken pleasure in these little duels, toying with his opponent, before the calls to battle came almost hourly. By that point Ryckert would just pump them with a shotgun blast to the stomach, their screams were enough to drive away any remaining challenger. This strange looking creature was proving to be a fun distraction, though. The thing had destroyed his shotgun, but Ryckert had more in his ship. "You think you could just take me?! I'm not going down easy!" The creature snarled. “No, you’re not going down easy, but you are going down,” Ryckert said coolly before he started shooting at the creature with his pistols. Every shot tore away at the walls, leaving giant fist sized holes, the explosive “bang, bang,” of the guns deafened any other noise. The creature was quick, it zig zagged and dodged every shot, expertly getting closer to Ryckert with every step. Once it was close enough it made a psychotic laughing sound before it one of its stinger shot out and went directly for Ryckert’s face. Ryckert was waiting for this and stepped to the side, grabbing the stinger with both hands and pulling the creature to him, kneeing him in the stomach, hard. The Creature doubled over, Ryckert brought his elbow hard on its back, making the creature fall to the ground. Ryckert stepped on its tail and pointed one pistol to the back of the creature’s head.
“Now, little buddy, how about you relax before I blow your crazy little brain out?” |

| behind the two battlers, a larger beast than danihg crashed through the amethyst wall that was made to stop sylvia's arrows. it didnt prove very effective as sylvia grappled her way over it, they werent merely weapons but also tools to help her manouvre, in this case it got her over a wall almost instantaniously. she wanted to hail down arrows at both the shotgun wielding maniac and the mad beast she had met before but quickly figured out he was just as bad as "her" . she saw they were fighting already and letting them weaken eachother might be in the interest of both her beast and herself... |

| She watched as the girl jumped over the wall with the assist of her grappling hooks. Ignoring the creature and just watching the girl. She had to make sure the fool wouldn’t get involved in the fight. Not when she had to see if this mercenary was as good as she had heard. That’s all that mattered to her. Moving slowly and walking to her right, she wanted to get a better view of the fight. She glanced occasionally, towards the girl. She raised her hand and with flick of the wrist, dropped the wall she made. She had not reason to care if the beast near it would get hurt. Turning her head towards the fight, she watched this beast and the mercenary. “If you win, Mercenary, we have something to discuss. If you lose, I have wasted my time looking for you and it would mean you’re all talk.” She said out loud towards the Mercenary. She cared not at all using his name, it didn’t matter to her.
The attacks of the best where sporadic and out of control. Even if each blow would mean death, they had no control. Things were done through emotion and not focused. If the mercenary lose to such a rambunctious creature, she would just leave and not seek him out. |

| He wasn't going to let himself be killed but he thought of something. He just spoke up in his attempts to possibly make this fight stop. He giggled and smiled, "Yes kill me all you want... Org um diof sulsahg sahg sany egda Duarthi Tauth!" He began to speak in a foreign language and for those who could understand or recognize Devil would have began to back off as he was throwing out threats in that tongue before he began talking in the common tongue, "What real reason do you have to kill an ordriey huh? If I were to go now what fun will I really have? I have murdered thousands of people and I have been in this kind of situation multiple times. It'd be a shame for those who are old which suffer most to live through suffering... I ended some young and some old lives of suffering. That is my purpose what is yours?"
He tried to lip himself to his back but the mercenary had his foot on his tail and having the gun to the back of his head. He made a frantic struggle kicking and slipped out his massive wings. He finally flipped to his back and enveloped the man with wings wrapping his arms around him and once again went for his face. Again he got another gun shoved in his mouth. He was distracted and got a surprise shank in the right side once, twice and thrice.
The cyborg rolled his eyes falling limp to the ground his breathing ragged, "Father... don't let... me die... Terranean and Kirreanean I plead for protection..." He let himself lax shutting his eyes tightly not wanting to die. He started to plead in his his native tongue, Ordriey sounding similar to Devil. |

| Ryckert cleaned Danihg’s blood from his blade as the creature withered in pain on the floor. Ryckert almost felt sympathy for it, almost. The damn thing had completely ruined the chances he had with the preacher’s daughter, the whole town was in a panic and there was no way she would sleep with him now. The psychological effects of such violence would keep her in a state of shock for weeks, maybe even months. The fucking thing ruined the giant climax to his soiree on this backwater planet, so Ryckert decided it would be best to let the creature suffer a slow, painful death as it bled out on the floor. Ryckert put his blade back into its sheath and reloaded his hand cannons then placed those into their holsters, then he turned and faced the cloaked woman who had been watching the whole thing unfold. Ryckert looked her up and down, studying her, noticing her posture and how she carried herself. ‘So, Ryckert thought, this woman has been looking for me, hmm, what the heel could she want?’
“Look, I just took care of that…. thing,” Ryckert said, waving in the general direction Danihg was doubled over in pain,” It ruined my little romp I was having here, so I’m not in the mood if you’re some government agent coming here to arrest me of some family member of a bounty I killed looking for revenge, all you’re going to get is a bullet to the stomach. Now, if you really went through the trouble of looking for me, I suppose I can give you a few seconds to tell me what the hell it is that you want.” |

| with danihg downed, she knew who her new mark was, she whistled to dinicate to her beast the attack was ready to commence. the beast wich was unphased by the wall crashing upon it just looked back at the woman, growling at her briefly before obeying it's master and charging at ryckert with a fury. the red eyes flaming and flickering as the giant bear made its way to ryckert.
it kept it's mouth while running, since the stomach was unarmored while it's thick hide and armor putted on protected it from conventional bullets. the big beast charging also served as an adequate distraction for the small girl hopping down from the wall and sneaking towards ryckert with her bow drawn and aimed at someone that she would have to kill at home. |

| Lord Srox smiled and laughed seeing the creature defeated. She clapped, "Good, I am glad to see my choice is correct. Though, answering your question, no I am no one trying to capture you. I represent the Nypherian Empire. I am here to offer you a job" she stopped as the sound of the girl caught her attention. The whistle had grabbed her attention as she turned to glance at her. Her beast looked back at her master and ran towards her. "I warned you, girl. Mind your own business." Lord Srox said as she turned to fully face the beast. She moved her arms in a slow motion. Under the clothes she wore, red marks could be seen under her clothes.
A large crack in the ground shot out from a few feet away from Lord Srox. The crack spread out in a circular motion as it surrounded Lord Srox and the Mercenary. The piece of earth they stood on, shot up in the air and towered high enough to get away from the large beast. The towering earth stood 20 feet tall. "Stay out of my way. My last warning." She said towards the girl. She turned away and faced the Merc. "As I was saying. I am here offering the job. I am building a team, with obvious talent that you have. I will be your boss. You will be paid, well. We are building up to possibly fight the Demonic Crusade. When we're victorious, you will be free to do what you want. However, you will still be under my command, just free to do whatever you want if you have no orders." |

| Ryckert was surprised the Nypherian Empire was interested in him, plus they wanted to hire him on as a retainer. Interesting, very interesting, though to be honest Ryckert was a little cold to the Nypherians; The whole machine bodies thing they were working with plus the absolute loyalty one had to show was not Ryckert’s style. He mulled over what had been said when Srox began to work some powerful magic. The very earth around them cracked and shuddered as a circular chunk of the ground Ryckert and Srox were standing on separated itself from the floor and rose into the air, out of reach from the elf girl and her pet. So he was dealing with someone powerful, Ryckert thought, someone powerful and from the Nypherian empire. Ryckert listened to the woman’s proposition, interested in the parts were he would be paid well and get to do what he wanted when not on a mission. Ryckert liked his freedom, he didn’t want to be locked away in some military camp training and running drills like most black op operatives. Ryckert was a mercenary and this was a job, so he agreed, but with one request.
“Alright, lady, you got yourself a deal, for now, but first,” Ryckert said, pointing to the floating disc they both stood on,” How do I go about learning to do this?”

| She glanced at him, "You want to learn about Void Magic? There are many kinds. Each can teach you new possibilities and techniques. I can teach you somethings. Though, our squad will be of the Galaxy. We're to fight the things that threaten to cause balance to fall. As I have said, you will work for more specifically. You won't have to worry about being in the Military. You only have to deal with our squad. During times of freedom, you can do whatever you like. Though, re-frame from attacking Nypherian targets. That will be an issue."
Recruiting the Merc is needed. They needed brawn in the group. The man had the talents and the skills. Lord Srox needed that and she wanted to make sure he was on board. He had be interested in Void Magic. She found it funny that magic would be something that he wanted to get involved in. |

| Ryckert extended his hand and shook the robed woman’s hand firmly, accepting the terms of their agreement. Money, power, what more could Ryckert ask for? “So what happens now? You lower this rock and I get my first payment? I was serious about…what did you call it? Void magic? I want to learn that,” Ryckert said with a wolfish grin, this little vacation had turned out to be quite interesting.
Working with the Nypherian empire could prove very useful, Ryckert usually stayed away from their territory; their strict laws were off putting to his more general free spirit. Now though, being officially sanctioned to work with them - in the higher ranks of their military, no less! – would open a lot of doors, from technological to power brokers. Ryckert could finally go about starting that Mercenary company he always dreamed of. His own personal little army fighting for the highest bidder. |
