https://convergencerp.rpg-board.net/t275-the-zaegrim-inquisitionDespite their unwavering dedication to their deity, Zaegrim, the Inquisition's people are actually quite accepting and open to others. As long as one does not openly denounce or insult their beliefs, or proselytize their own in public (or to a devout believer), the Inquisition is perfectly fine with one's different beliefs; it is simply considered wrong for an Nzani to have any god other than Zaegrim, and this is taken seriously to the point where an Nzani will stop a conversation as soon as religion comes up.
Of course, this religious staticity does not deny outsiders the opportunity to come to know the Way of Zaegrim, nor does it bar nonbelievers citizenship.
Rules for becoming part of the Zaegrim Inquisition, if not already, are simple:
1) Deny or Denounce not the Way of Zaegrim
2) Do not spread beliefs other than the Way of Zaegrim to the Nzani people.
3) Strive to make the Inquisition better for yourselves and the Inquisition as a whole.
If any of these three rules (as well as other more obvious ones) are broken, then the Rule Breaker is promptly "Shunned from Existence" by all the Inquisition until an intentionally convoluted and tedious Apologetic Atonement process is completed.
Despite these admittedly intimidating rules and regulations, it is quite easy to be welcome and respected by those of the Inquisition. They are an amiable and open-minded sort, and readily speak of trade, good relations, and other positive topics with outsiders and other factions. The only thing they truly despise is the Demonic Crusade.
While it is not required, one can earn quite a few "brownie points" for adopting some Inquisition customs - such as the Way of Zaegrim, or the traditional headdresses.
Overall, if you wish to know more about the Inquisition, its ways or its people, you have but to show this interest, and you will be welcomed as a friend and/or ally.
