Strengths
Dragonborn are proud descendants of dragons, and as such have strengths pertaining to their heritage. They have extremely keen senses of sight, smell, and taste, armor-like scales, large strength, and depending on the type of their draconic heritage, they can conjure a powerful breath weapon which stretches out in a cone travelling about thirty feet/9 meters. (see ancestry index). They also have above-average adeptness to magic.

Weaknesses
Dragonborn are not an advanced race, and as such they only have technology comparable to that of Earth in the year 1300, mainly because they have too much pride to use many other species' technologies. The only technology Dragonborn freely use is space travel. Dragonborn also do not have a very long life span, only going to 75 years on average. In the instance of extreme pain and danger, their draconic ancestry can impact their decisions, forcing them to forego all necessary wisdom in combat.

Appearance
Dragonborn differentiate in height just as humans do, although they tend to be bulkier. They are covered in scales vary depending on their dragon ancestors (see ancestry index).They have dragon-like heads with reptilian eyes. Unlike their ancestors, however, the Dragonborn do not have wings and are bipedal.

Culture
While dragonborn do not have a specific culture, one can guess what a dragonborn is like upon seeing it. The dragonborn are split by ancestry into two types: chromatic and metallic. Chromatics tend to lean more to the evil side of the spectrum, and the metallics toward good. There are a few exceptions, of course, and metallics and chromatics can breed together to produce multi scaled offspring (they only have one type of breath weapon, however), who are pretty unpredictable. Dragonborn are extremely prideful of their race, and strive constantly to make a name for it.

History
Very little are known about the Dragonborn, despite them being one of the oldest known races to exist. The only thing that is well known (possibly because they like to brag about it) is that they are descendants of dragons. However, whether the some dragons evolved into Dragonborn or if they were created by dragons is unknown.

Breath Weapons

Each Dragonborn has a breath weapon based on its heritage. The type is based on the colors of its scales. Below is listed which dragonborn have which weapon. This weapon tires the dragonborn out with excessive use, however, so be careful.

Red, Gold, Brass = Fire

Black, Copper = Acid

Blue, Bronze = Lightning

Green = Poison

White, Silver = Cold

Looked this over, I think there's a few problems with this race.

1. We now have a rule against blatant copying from other franchises. This is clearly the dragonborn race from DnD

These two statements are kind of contradictory. They refuse to use technology except for space travel, yet somehow have ended up all over the galaxy. I can buy them operating off a single homeworld, but not this. Please defend your case or change this.

Ok, I've fixed 2 and three (assuming my planet gets approved)

for number one, D&D is kind of the norm tho, and we already have elves and dwarves etc.

I've decided that, since DnD is basically a fantasy norm, this race works fine.

If anyone has an issue, please PM me. In the meantime, this race is approved.
