Name: Arclight Blade
Owner: Originally wielded by Abraham, a renown soldier of Heaven who fell in combat against Armageddon. The sword's owner now depends on who manages to get their hands on it. The most prominent handler after Abraham's death was Kittiana Calypso Youngblood.
Creator: Unknown. Presumably forged in the realm of Heaven.
Development Thread: N/A
Type: Sword.
Ammo: The sword is able to emit blue-white, sharp streams of energy from it's tip. The sword is also able to temporarily generate force fields around the user. The sword can also produce "arcs" of energy when swung downwards or sideways which travel at high speeds in the direction which the blade was swung. Other abilities are mentioned in the description.
Strengths:The strength and intensity of the power of the sword's special abilities increase only with the strength of the wielder.
The sword has been observed to be virtually indestructible as of yet - it has survived being submerged in lava for long periods of time and has been used to strike some of the hardest materials such as advanced metallic alloys and rocks.
Weaknesses:The sword is very large and heavy, meaning smaller and weaker wielders would have trouble using it in combat.
The sword gives off a luminescent glow when wielded, meaning it can not be utilised effectively in stealth missions.
Description:The Arclight Blade is an ancient, powerful sword that is said to have been passed down from generation to generation in the realm of Heaven, wielded by heroes of the realm who were renown for outstanding feats. Abraham was one such hero who perished in the final confrontation against Armageddon. Since then, the sword hadn't been returned to the realm and was mostly wielded by Kittiana Youngblood. However the sword had also been lost or wielded by other individuals on numerous occasions such as Gavin McRead and The Freelancer or captured for study by organisations such as ONI.
In addition to the abilities mentioned in the "ammo" section, others include being able to produce shockwaves, generate portals and enable the wielder to levitate temporarily. The extent of these abilities depend on the inner strength of the wielder. For example, the lethality of the beams or arcs that the blade is able to emit depends on how powerful the wielder is themselves. Abraham was powerful enough to theoretically kill a fully shielded Spartan in one hit if the shot was placed correctly. The blade of the sword itself is extremely sharp, described as being "one of the sharpest blades in existence". While heavy artillery was unable to penetrate Armageddon's skin even after he was mortally wounded, it showed no resistance against the blade when Kittiana dealt the killing blow against him using it. As mentioned before, empirical evidence suggests the sword may be indestructible. It is unknown what it is made of, but the material is certainly metallic in nature.
Finally, it is said that if the sword is wielded by a being powerful enough, a "special" ability within the blade can be unlocked where the wielder may, to a very limited extent, warp matter itself. However this has never been observed and may just be a myth.
