Name: Dovahkiin
Homeplanet: Any planet where humans can be born.
Sentience: Sentient
Strengths:
A Dovahkiin is essentially a human born with the soul of a dragon, giving them longer life, magical and physical resistance,the ability to utilize dragon magic,and can take on the form of their Dragon soul.

Weaknesses:
Dovahkiins are few in number. Their can only be one hundred Dovahkiin alive at any given time.

Dovahkiin aren't able to utilize their Dragons abilities until they experience an extremely traumatic experience, this experience essentially awakens the Dragon soul within them from slumber .

Dovahkiins are unable to use their true power while in their human form, which is why their partners often teach them how to utilize dragon magic, so they are able to protect themselves when their not in their mighty dragon form.

Since there is so much power being generated from a Dovahkiin when they transform into their dragon form, there is generally a limit to how long they can sustain themselves in their powerful form.

Appearance
Most of the time Dovahkiins retain the appearance of a normal human,however once they access their powers, however their are few powerful Dovahkiins who were able to enter a state of immense power that drastically changed their appearance. (WIP)

History
Dovahkiins is essentially a human born with the reincarnated soul of a dragon, giving them longer life and a wide arrange of powers and have a high resistance similar to Dragons, but not quite to the same extent. Dovahkiins learn of their dragon half after some sort of highly stressful event. The abilities a Dovahkiin gains is dependent on the soul of the Dragon it had obtained; however a common spell that a Dragon teaches to their host is Projection. Projection allows the user to conjure practically anything for a limited time. Dovahkiins can also access the Dragon's memories, the longer the Dovahkiin lives or depending on how close the bond is with the soul, the Dovahkiin's knowledge and power it can obtain will be easier.

Dragon magic:
Dragon Magic is a type of Magic taught to Dovahkiin by their Dragon soul’s . Dragon Magic is a type of Magic which allows its users to transform their physical bodies into a Dragon. As a result of the magic's mechanics, the user can transform their body with features of their respective element, utilizing both offensive and defensive styles. They can consume external sources of their respective natural element to replenish their own energy. A Dovahkiin is immune to the effects of their own element, and can consume external sources of their element to replenish their strength. However, a Dovahkiin cannot consume the element that they produce themselves, and elements must be consumed through the mouth. Dragon Magic is one of the most effective ways to hurt, or even hurt Dragons.

Master :

The ancient arts of Dragon magic are the strongest spells in a Dragon mages's arsenal, something for what they spend much of their time in order to properly harness its great power. Said spells are believed to harness the power of being able to defeat a real Dragon, a trait which actually hasn't been proved. In order to achieve such great power the Dragon mage must enter their inner world and face their Dragon in combat. The dragon is always ranked as demigod in terms of magic power. If the Dragon mage manages to defeat the dragon soul, the dragon then teaches the dragon mage the ancient spells of Dragon magic.

Weaver:
In order to obtain more of the dragon soul's respect and the next level of Dragon magic spells, he dragon mage must have participated in 4 tough battles against very challenging opponents. These opponents must be significantly rememberable to the Dragon mage , and must have had some kind of influence to them as well. Not all of the fights have to be victories, but at least 2 of them must turn out to be in favor them. After the 4 "tough battles" the Dragon soul soul will deem them strong enough to obtain the new spells.

Adept:

Novice:
The Dragon soul has just been awoken and it meets their partners for the first time, the soul will onverse with its new partner before teaching them the basic spells of Dragon magic.

My bad, I kinda figured this would happened eventually, after I read the accepted races, I realized naming my race Dovahkiin would create some controversy, but I wanted to try it anyways... plus the name Dovahkiin is badass and the meaning really ties in with the race I'm trying to create. Besides the name what else do I have to change in order to get this accepted ?

Yea, just change the name and that be fine. I just didn't want things conflicting with lore and the work someone else is doing.

Also, you will have to twerk the magically abilities. All new members start at novice level. Never being able to jump around to different levels of power. That's a bit out of control.

I’m confused, I understand why you're telling me to edit the transformation ability, but I don't understand what you want me to edit or how can I change this ability so it can fit into this forum's magic system. I'm willing to do anything you want me to do, I just don’t know how im supposed to change it.

Overview: The race I want to create posses the ability to transform from a wimpy human to a mighty dragon, allowing them to access the full power of the ancient dragon they have stored inside of them for a limited amount of time. And once they reach the reach the time limit/ post limit they are forced to revert back to their human form and are unable to transform back to their dragon form for the rest of the thread.

Alright I think I get what you mean now. How about this, once the user reaches the rank of Weaver or Master in Dragon magic. The Dragon soul inside of them teaches them how to unlock their Dragon soul transformation, and the user has to enters their inner world to undergo intense training in order to wield the powerful transformation. Is that kinda what your looking for or am I way off from what your talking about.

Also thank you for taking the time to help out, I'm new to this stuff and I really appreciate the fact that your helping me out.

Not at all. Its my job to help as much as I can.

Now, yes. They is fine. You can list the things that are earned through each level you unlock. Just to point out, each tier is unlocked through rping (Roleplaying). I am not 100% positive on the word requirement but I know you need to find a teacher within your magic abilities to teach you to get more powerful.
