Discovered by UNSC scout ships in the early days of their expansion, the planet was quickly claimed for mining operations to supply the UNSC with valuable metals.
Description
A cold and harsh planet, Zaron is useful only for the rich variety of minerals in the ground. Copper, Iron, Coal and Gold all reside in great quantities beneath the ice sheets. Because of the conditions, the UNSC had to build safe habitation areas for their operations, and can't stay out in the cold for too long without temperature regulation suits.
