Niq had never been to Apex 122 before now. At least, he was 98% certain it was Apex 122 that he was on planet wise. It might have sounded odd to some but when you stow away aboard random ships to travel through space it tended to leave some uncertainty about one’s destination; however, waking up on a planet covered in a shell it tended to really reduce the number of possibilities in one’s mind. Combine that with the fact this his wandering revealed an incredibly high number of factories and the deduction seemed to fit. ‘Well, either it’s Apex 122 or I’m in 20th century Detroit…’ he thought to himself. Sure he was seeing a lot of Bylian Dwarves but Niq had never gone to school. For all he knew about Earth history droves of Bylian Dwarves could have been living there at the time, although time travel did seem rather unlikely predicament to end up in.
He wasn’t quite sure where he was when he finished wandering, primarily because the two other RPer’s in the thread only clarified that there was a girl with a bird and dragon on a rock as well as a small tidbit of backstory for each, and his narrator really doesn’t know enough to deduce the location from that. Deciding both looked interesting, Niq rocked back on his feet trying to decide who to approach first. The youthful sun elf with an awe-inspiring phoenix perched on her shoulder, chirping in a language that possibly only the druids of the planet would understand certainly piqued his curiosity, but then again… he turned his curious glance away from her to the slumbering dragon, sprawled gracefully across atop a stone.
If Niq had been older, he very certainly would have been more interested in pursuing the sun elf, but Niq was terribly young for a trickster and could not help but place dragon over beauty. ‘Dragon!’ he thought excitedly, physically levitating off the ground an inch or so in his enthusiasm as he slipped his way closer to the unconscious form. He had once heard the expression ‘never tickle a sleeping dragon’ and he was quite intent on finding out why.
