Sinon wandered through the woods curiously. She was heading towards a trading village that was supposed to be near here but she was lost. Tall trees surrounded her and lush vegetation, it reminded her of her old home in the Elven Woods. There was no sign of any animals or people around the area so she called out, "Hello, Anyone There?!" No reply. Sighing Sinon kept exploring, hoping to find this trading village.

Hours passed and she started to worry that she had took a wrong turn somewhere. How foolish she was of not bringing another elf with her or someone that could help. For all she knew the village could be miles away. Suddenly a twig cracked somewhere around her and she put her hand on her bow, reading to attack. Thoughts passed through her mind quickly, Who is there, could they be friendly, dangerous?! What if I am the prey and they are the predator! She snapped out of her thoughts ready to call out but someone else did first.

"Put Your Weapon Down and Don't Move" ( Whoever responds to this first is the owner of this voice. )

Sapphire had fallowed the elf for a wile. thinking she was on a hunt or something interesting may happen but she broke a branch alerting the Elf.

Vinsue called out a warning for the simple fact that she was bread to attack a threat and she preferred not to attack. She stayed behind the trees as she circled the Short Elf. Than decided to get some answerers. "Why are you on my turf and were are your buddies."

Sinon slowly turned around in circles hearing something move beyond the trees. She heard something call out Why are you on my turf and where are your buddies? She brought her hands to her side releasing the bow showing she meant no harm. "I was not aware that this land belonged to someone, I am sorry that I am trespassing. I am just trying to find my way somewhere and I am not here with anyone. No others but me." She curiously stopped moving and squinted her eyes trying to see who or what was behind the trees but she couldn't quite make anything out. There was no reply yet so she added, "I mean no harm". Sinon waited for an answer.

Seeing the Elf drop the bow she stepped out of the woods. "Lost, that is not a good thing. Where you heading." Vinsue sat down as she let the elf see her. "I will not attack as long as you don't but I may be able to help." Sapphire slid her tail across the ground as she spoke. One could now see her saddle and weapons witch showed that she once had a rider. Se watched the Elf closely to make sure she would not attack.

Sinon's eyes sparkled, she admired her. She looked at her noticing she must of had a rider with all that equipment. Friendly but cautiously she spoke, "I am heading to a trading village that was supposed to be near here. I got side tracked and I guess I am lost now." She hesitated like she was thinking then began again, "If I am correct I believe I was told that the village is called Fort Ruby. Do you happen to know where it is?" Sinon got a little ancy since she wasn't used to talking to anyone but her elf friends.

Her eyes stopped sparkling with friendliness when she remembered that she couldn't trust anyone but the people she knew. Sinon thought hard for a moment, I cant trust anyone but she seems really friendly and I trust her so I dont think there is a problem....hopefully she can help me, that would be nice. I am no threat and even if we were to fight I would be no match. She noticed she was mumbling a little and quickly looked up in showed a quick smile of apology's. Sinon looked at her, curious what would happen now.

Vinsue thought for a second about the name. She had been to that village before and knew the way. "I Know the way but its a few miles away." She looked at the sky and than laid down. "It will be dark soon though. So we will not make it before the Storm." Sapphire looked down the path than back at the Elf. "Come I know a safe place we can rest tell the storm passes. Then ill lead you to the village." Vinsue turned towards the woods and started walking than turned to the elf. "Coming" Than started walking again not far from the trail were some trees grew in to a large circle.

She lit the small pile of wood in the center and laid down next to the trees. This was one of many places she stays at. The rain started to poor hard out side but the circle of trees stopped it and most light from the out side from coming in.

Sinon had followed her to the circle of trees. As she lit the pile of wood Sinon looked at the sky and sighed. She had never really liked rain and storms. She sat down and turned to her to ask a question but she didn't want to disturb her so Sinon just put her head on her knees.

Feeling the warmth of the fire made her really tired but she stayed awake, wondering about this newcomer she had met. Sinon thought, She seems really nice, I never really asked what her name was but I dont want to disturb her now. Maybe later---- Sinon had fallen asleep in mid thought, she wanted to stay awake but it just came to her. She silently slept, dreaming about her home.

Vinsue watched the rain tell it let up and she went on a hunt leaving the elf asleep in the tree. She found a dear like thing and a small bush of berries and took it back to the tree. she laid the bush next to the elf and started to eat the dear. She buried the bones and cleaned her self up before waking the elf. "Eat up than lets go. by the way I am called Vinsue though I can not recall your name?" She looked out the opining as she waited for Sinon to wake up and get ready to leave.

Sinon slowly woke up and yawned. She glanced at the berry bush and took some berries before turning back to her. Through a mouth full of berries she replied, "These berries are good, oh and I'm Sinon. Since its probably...most likely polite to introduce each other well: Nice to meet you Vinsue I'm Sinon". She smiled slightly and swallowed the rest of the berries.

Sinon stood up and stretched while slinging her bow over her back and gathering her stuff. "Where to now?" she said with a bit of tiredness then waited for a response.

Vinsue watched as the elf eat then introduced herself. "nice to know your name Sinon, and the rain has stopped so were off to the village." She said than walked out into the mud of the forest. a bit than looked back to see how the elf was holding up. Sinon was back a ways trying to keep from falling in the mud. it was funny to watch but at this pace it would be a long walk. She turned back and laid down next to Sinon "Git on and hold on tight. But do not touch the weapons" She said folding her wings. thinking it would be quicker and a bit easier. but they will both need a bath after this trip.

Sinon trudged through the mud clumsily. They walked for a while until Vinsue turned around and told her to get on. To hesitated before getting on, she felt a little weird riding her but it would be an easier travel. They moved through the mud for a while until they were out of the mud but they were really dirty. Sinon waited for her to say when she could dismount her.

Vinsue expected to get a hard mount but the elf was slow and causes. Once she was up Vinsue started walking threw the mud tell she got to the main path and laid down, tell Sinon got off and started walking. Vinsue got up and walked up the path tell she saw a river and started washing off. Once clean she drank some water and got back on the path. Then waited for the elf before going towards the town again.

Sinon was already tired from the travel and she wasn't even doing most of the work. It was probably the mud weighing her down. Once they arrived at the river and they washed the mud off she performed a little spell that she was taught in the Elven Forests by her friend when she was young. The spell would help speed up the pace of her wet clothes and skin. She did a favor and performed it on Vinsue also.

As Sinon returned to the path and reached Vinsue's side she asked curiously, "Sorry if I'm prying, but what were you exactly doing in the forest when I found you...well when you found me?" She quickly stretched and waited to see if Vinsue would respond to her.

"I was wondering around whiting for my ride back home. Just as I have done for the last 20 years." She said than started to walk the path. "So why you going to the city?" She tried to change the subject do to not wanting to talk about her past.

Sinon was shocked at her answer. She thought, 20 whole years she's been waiting....wow....just for a ride. She was aware that Vinsue didn't want to talk about her past so she left it at that. Suddenly aware she was asked a question she quickly answered, "I am supposed to be meeting a few friends there I haven't seen in around 5 years." She pointed to her bag, "I also have a few items I'm going to trade in for some items that could help me on my travels."

"That sounds like fun." she thought about her friends for a bit than stopped. The city was now in view and not far off. "That should be the town." she looked at the elf and smiled. "It has been nice getting to know you but I can go no further." She sat down as she looked at the village. It had been years since she had been near one. corse dragons are not welcome in them for obvious reasons. not to mention the hole scare of the one that tried to take over the universe. she did not want to leave her new friend but knew that taking her all the way would be a bad idea.

When Vinsue smiled at Sinon she smiled back. The village wasn't for now and she knew that it would be dangerous for a dragon to waltz in so she knew this is where they parted. She frowned a little, she only really just got to know Vinsue and now they had to part. Sinon forced a smile and said, "Well it was a pleasure to meet you and I dearly respect you bringing me all this way." She quickly added with a little humor, "I bet if you haven't had found me I probably would be still lost in the forest!"

She reached into her bag and found a piece of cloth that she had since she was little it had been all over the world and it showed many adventures just by looking at it. She handed it to Vinsue who took it thankfully, "This way you can remember because I dont know the next time we'll be seeing each other." Sinon looked at the village and started to walk off but paused and looked back at Vinsue with a smile then continued onward. She would reach the village soon and this journey would be over. She thought, Maybe it was destiny that we met...well thats a little silly...maybe just a coincidence.
