Marudon was awaken by the loud clang of the ship docking to the Vermire Station, he then rushes to grab his coat and sword as he has yet again stowed away on a cargo ship. As he left the ship, he was greeted by a myriad of stalls and shops selling items that range from everyday groceries to high-end weapons. But he wasn't here to shop, he was hired by his employers to meet a contact on the station and retrieve an experimental (probably illegal) weaponry.

His contact has yet to send him a message, so he decides to go to the local bar and stretch out his legs from the long and cramped journey on the cargo ship. It was evident that not many humans inhabit this station, as most of the drinks that are offered are of alien origin. He then stared to talk with the bartender, "So what can I get for you, buddy?" the bartender said as he was cleaning some glasses.
"Give me the strongest drink you got!" He says with much bravado. The bartender then start mixing a bunch of drinks and then pours the final product on wine glass. The drink gave off a rancid odor and yet the texture of the drink seems to be as clear as water.
"Are you sure about this, kid?" the bartender asks as don downs the drink in one chug. The drink starts to have an immediate effect on him, the room started to swirl around him, his legs go limp, and the light starts to fade from his eyes.

A couple of hours has passed when Marudon has finally awoken, and with a bad hangover, he finds himself in the back of the bar with his sword by his side and a note that states, "2 hours, Docking bay A23." A rather peculiar message, but Marudon figures that the message was from his contact and decided to follow it without a second thought.

The station itself is heavily guarded by the Nypherians. The ships hanging around the stations. Tensions were a bit high as the news had spread fast about the battle on Chyke. The Darkness attack by Lana. A being that is in connections with the Demonic Horde. That hatred runs deep as posters are everywhere, praising the quick destruction of the Crusade. The life however, didn't change on Vermire. People still went about their business. The bars were still loud as ever, the chants and cheers about the Void Wars, and the market is loud enough. The selling of weapons, goods, clothing, and anything else the people wanted to sell. Vermire is a place for people to live in peace and escape the life of the Galaxy. Though, this for the people, they didn't want anything to do with Demons.

That kind of prejudice runs deep. The Nypherians did scan a ship that had entered the station. Everyone had been scanned, especially that stow away. The person had been categorized and marked. The same kind of signature that was giving the same kind of organic identity as the Demons of the Crusade. He is flagged and is currently being watched by the stations AI system. Within the lower levels of the station. The CYbernetic Division were resting and tweaking their weapons. An orange light turns on in the room and they all stop. They look at the light by Theta, the squad leader of the group stood up. She walked over to the computer and opened up the panel. The system brought up a live feed, which showed a person walking through the station. He was listened as Demon. She narrowed her eyes and closed the panel.

As he makes his way down to the docking bay, Marudon starts to feel uneasy. The entire station was littered with anti-demon propaganda, claiming any and all demons are disgusting, barbaric creatures that live to only serve the crusade. This could not be further truth, sure some might view Marudon as a barbarian but he has no love for the crusade. Ever since the crusades took away his parents, he has no sympathy for whatever the crusaders, he has always neglected jobs that would put him in too much danger or directly responsible for the deaths of many people, but if those risk would end up in a weakened crusade, he would take any risk.


Marudon can feel eyes shifted towards him, eyeing him like he is some sort of threat and he can't shake the feel that he was being followed.This job has put him in a place where he isn't wanted but the risk is worth it, if he gets this done, he can leave the life of crime behind him. He then arrived at the docking bay, it was empty. He looks at the time and noticed that he had around 30 minutes until his contact arrives, so decided to practice his pyromancy a bit while he waits. He then began to jump around firing fire balls at imaginary target, trying to be more accurate with his shots but he can't seem aim properly, he then tries to ignite his blade on fire for as long as he can but after around 5 minutes he became exhausted. After 10 minutes of rest, he began to show more flare in his techniques, summoning coulumns of flames and firing in a more shotgun like pattern.


His practice was then interrupted by the sound of clapping coming from bay door an a voice saying, "What an amazing display you showed us there."  
Marudon then promptly stops and starts questioning the man, "Are you my contact? Were you the one who gave me this not?"
"Now, now what's the rush? But to answer your question, yes i was the one who gave you that note."
"Well, where is it? where's the cargo i need to deliver?" the man then prompts his goon to bring out a large crate.
"You are to deliver this crate to your employer and under no circumstances the crate be opened, understood?"
As the deal was being done someone was watching the whole thing from the shadows.

The AI systems were watching them, tracking their movements, and recording their conversations. The Cybernetic Division were running through the hallways. Citizens got out of their way, many wondered who had broken the law that badly to get the Nypherians attention. The division moved through the hallways and into the open hangar. The massive hangar that held many docking bays. Theta, held two fingers to her head and received a message that here was an illegal arms transfer. Probably one of the fools of this Galaxy had smuggled this weapon through the civilian docking bays, which have lighter security. What had gotten the systems attention was the Demon that had stowed away on a ship and was meeting this person. The Nypherian's were at war with the Demons and took this as an insult. These actions would definitely lead to an arrest plus an interrogation.

Theta stopped and motioned the others to follow her. There was also reports that this demon was casually using fire attacks in the hangar. Breaking even more laws of using magic within a civilian district. This guy was either a fool or trying to piss them off. Either way, this action had to be dealt with. In that moment, two Nypherian Z1BA3 fighter's flew just above the men. They flashed lights on them," Don't move! You're conducting illegal activity within Nypherian Code. We will fire on you, if you move!" a voice came from the ships. Down the ramp their exit was cut off as the Cybernetics blocked their escape. Weapons aiming in their direction. " Put your weapons on the ground and lay on your stomachs!"

The choice to fire with the odds stacked against them was a terrible idea. The Nypherian fighters that were hovering around the group only did a few burst and dropped the enemy that had opened fire. The conflict had alerted even more security forces. The hangar bay began to close, cutting off any and all attempts to escape. The civilians all ran out of the hangar and closed  the blast door. The hangar door slowly closed shut, cutting off an escape further into the station. The hangar doors to space, had also closed. The fighters only hovered and watched as the so called gang leader and the demon were left alive. The demon tried to tackle on of the Cybernetic soldiers.

When he made the effort to tackle him or knock him over. He collided with him and the deon just fell on his own ass. It would have felt like hitting a steel wall. The Cybernetic Nypherian soldier then picked him up and tossed him back to where he originally started from. "This is your last warning. All exits are sealed. Surrender or die. "

Marudon has realized that this is out of his league, he is no longer fighting mercenaries or common bandit, no he is just messed with one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. He then surrenders without a fight or an attempt to escape. He is shackled and escorted through the streets to god knows where. Eyes were all over, looking at him with fear and contempt. He knows that after all of his escapades and near calls, his luck has ran out. His fate now lays on the hand of his captors.

The demon was carried to a room and was forced to sit down in a chair. He was then left there. around him, the room was dimly lit. There was enough to see and around him, it seemed like an interrogation room. it felt like hours until a man walked in. He had an officers uniform and upon his uniform it said "police". A stations police officer had sat down and was going over paperwork in front of him. he opened the file and took photos out and laid them in front of the boy. They were photos showing that he was a stowaway. Photos of him and the dealer were also there. the officer sat back and looked at him.

" we don't get Demons on the station. since we're at war with the Crusade. not to mention the attack on Chyke and Lana's actions. it definitely put a very negative view on your kind. You are a stowaway and doing illegal activities on Vermire. Normally we kill outsiders and especially Demons if they break laws within our Empire. Now, the million credit questions....why are you here in our territory conducting illegal activities ?"

Normally, Marudon would try to talk his way out of this mess, but there are irrefutable evidence of what he did and these are not the type of people that can be persuaded easily. He then decided that it was time to talk, "I was sent to meet with someone and get an item delivered to my employer, but I'm just a messenger. I don't know what is in the crate and I have no clue where it is from." in the hopes that claiming to be an insignificant part of the deal would get him off scot-free or at the very least a lighter sentence but considering the current events that are happening between the nypherians and the demonic crusade, it is unlikely that he would be free soon. Marudon rues the day that the crusades was formed, his life have been made ten times worse due to his link with the crusades.

"interesting, however it is stupid to conduct illegal activity within Nypherian territory. We see everyhting that happens within our borders and especially our stations. Though, it is obvious you're new at your kind of work. I also want you to know that most citizen's here think we should kill you. Your crimes are hiding with intent, conducting smuggling operations, discharge of magic, and resisting arrest."

He began to go over more paperwork within his folder. instead of taking more out to show the boy, he closed the folder. " I also want to point out how lucky you are. That man you met, we killed him. Since he was the an that had more of an involvement than you. This is how things are going to work. We're going to let you go. You will be escorted to the docks and place on the next Civilian Vessel off the station. You're hearby banned from the station for one month. If we see you here again, we will kill you. " he said as he got up and walked out of the room. Two Nypherian soldiers walked in and help the boy to his feet. They escorted him to the hangars and pointed at the ship he is suppose to leave on.

As Marudon was being escorted to the ship, a crowd started to gather around, most of the have the look of fear or disgust. Obviously they have never seen a demon before, there were parents guarding their children from looking at the "disgusting demon" while the children all have this look of curiosity about them. "Being paraded down the streets is a humiliating," thought Marudon, "but it is better than getting my head on a pike." As they were approaching the ship, the crowds started to get restless, perhaps they were expecting a public execution. 

A Lizard looking person then starts to shout, "Are you really going to let that monster free! He is an enemy of the citizens of the void!" the crowd then starts to riled up, the voice of the people can be heard throughout the station. The guards attempted to calm down the mob, "He has been banished from this station, rest assured that he will cause anymore trouble." The crowd wasn't satisfied and continue their protest as Marudon boarded the ship. Even on the ship itself, everyone was avoiding him and glaring him down with disgust. You would think that after spending all of his life as a demon, Marudon would be used to this kind of treatment, but you never get used to being treated as a villain for something that you never done. Marudon has a feeling that, even after the one month period is over, he could never set foot on Vermire station. He will need to be more careful for the future, things like this should never happen again.
