Switch to approach thrust for docking tunnel A-6 with a heading of 330 degrees. Over". The docking tunnel extends and bolts into your ships docking ring, the doors promptly open and the station speak phone comes to life humming "Welcome to the Comet station, use elevator access to reach the Main sector, thank you".

| Seraphim tech master Zath clicked with delight as the docking tube connected to his stolen yt-1300 freighter. Although it was a piece of junk built with inferior technology, it's ability to get through pathetic human defense grids was worth its many drawbacks.
"The pathetic Xenos have no idea we're hefe," zath clicked to his his 10 Seraphim riggers, "let us take as much holy tech as our claws can carry."
With a flourish of his arc blade and pistol, Zath darted through the airlock and decapitated the nearest technician. His crew followed suit, killing everyone else in the entry room with a mix of two arc cannons, four arc rifles, and five paired arc pistols.
"These holy grounds belong to the Seraphim!" One of the riggers cried as be used his bottom two arms to grab a crate of drone parts. |

| Standing impatiently Kath repetitively mashed the triangular elevator buttons in the docking spire, he wasn't sure of his next step and that put him on edge. The elevator doors opened spilling out travellers returning to their ships, Kath pushed past stepping into the elevator.
Screams arose from one of the docking rooms adjacent,"These holy grounds belong to the Seraphim!".
Kath's ears pricked up, 'the Seraphim'. His memory trickled back about reading the recent raids on Zaga'rath. Drawing his pistol from its leg-holster he raised it into a combat ready stance and begun leaning out from the elevator. Eight four-armed, bi-pedal, arc rifle bearing pirates. He took a breath, Seraphim for sure, likely more of them as well. Leaning out again, Kath aimed his pistol for the Seraphims breathing apparatus, their armour was too thick for a pistol. |

| It didn't take long for the station to organize itself after the initial shock of the assault. A mix of scoundrels and station security desperately tried to resist. Hiding behind bulkheads and taking desperate shots at the Seraphim. Pathetic.
Zath noted one human with guts worth mentioning. Some human in a strange wide brimmed hat, metal arm, and large pistol loaded with a six round rotating chamber.
It's high n-" the man started wbile before promptly having his hat and skull blown through by an arc round.
A lucky bullet by a bounty hunter in the elevator ripped through Rak's breathing tube.
"Tang, Kan," Zath snarled, "take him back to the airlock and make sure the filthy Xenos don't steal that which they have no right to hold."
The three Riggers retreated. One holding an arc rifle and two paired arc pistols as Zath and the other Seraphim continued dropping the meager resistance. |

| The stations emergency alarm systems activated, the docking spires lights flickered changing to a red hew masking the blood soaked floor. The speakers crackled to life, "All personnel this is a code red, I repeat a code red, Seraph-i *static*."
One of the Seraphim Riggers shot the local speaker system causing a low growl of static background noise.
By now most of the outlaws located in the docking spire lay in their own blood. The resistance that was left were now currently hauled up in the spires main hall, a rectangular room filled with metal structural columns and arches with panelled viewing glass keeping the vacuum of space at bay.
Kath hissed. After the emergency alert, all elevators in the spire were shut down for everyone except for station personnel, only they had the correct emergency access codes. He had no choice but to get back to his cargo junker, and that meant going to the main hall where all the docking corridors connect up to.
Peaking again around the elevator corner he saw the Seraphim he shot being dragged away, its flailing body fuelled by its slow suffocation. This was his chance.
"Over here!", the droid waved its robotic hand behind the pillars in a flurried gesture. Behind the elevator door Kath saw his chance. Tilting his head around the corner he saw the Seraphim leader, the tech-master, staring back with what Kath assumed was a furious gaze.

| By now, the Seraphim had finished loading every piece of tech they could get their hands on into their stolen freighter. They had even nearly finished ripping computers out of their walls. Not to mention, nearly every outlaw and station guard was dead. Even if most of the tech the Seraphim had stolen was common, the number of deaths would deal a massive blow to not only the planet's economy, but also political stability. Fingers would be pointed and guns would be drawn.
Zath cared about none of that. All that mattered was the growth of his clan. The number of puny Xenos deaths along the way was merely the Seraphim basking in their power.
Only one fighter was left. A puny little human hiding in the elevator.
"I'm going to take revenge for Rak," Tang said. Hefting his Arc rifle.
"We will wait for you on the outside." Zath replied, marching back to the stolen freighter.
Tang stalked down the hallway towards the elevator. Towards the puny xeno who thought himself strong enough to bring down a Seraphim. He peered into the elevators, looking for the insect who dared hurt his fellow Seraphim. |

| Shit. Kath thought that a lot, but today it was especially prominent. With all the resistance in the stations docking spire dead, all that was left was a droid and Kath.
The droid began pointing, quietly it hummed "A Seraphim,a Seraphim is coming towards you!" after bolting away to somewhere safer. Kath glanced out, shit, I should of stayed hidden. With the pistol in his hands he began planning, The lights were out, I could use this to my advantage. Kath quietly shimmied up the elevator box holding himself in place on the ceiling. He would drop onto the poor Seraphim bastard like a rock.
The Seraphim clicked in frustration checking each elevator in turn methodically, "TANG, KAN". *Click*, the Seraphim was one elevator away. *Click*. The snout of the Arc rifle came into view slowly accompanied by the intimidating four arms.
Now or never. Kath drop from the ceiling kicking the Arc rifle onto the ground, the Seraphims lower arms swung at him from the sides throwing him into the adjacent elevator wall. Raising his pistol Kath hoped to get a shot but the Seraphim bashed it out of his grip with lighting speed and with one of its other hands pinned the humans neck onto the wall. "You Seraphim bastard! All those people you killed!" he spat while glancing at his opportunity, an Arc pistol hanging to the side of the Seraphim. |

| Tang hadn't expected a lone, puny human to be so ferocious. He had barely stepped inside the elevator when the thing let out a battle cry. Calling Tang a bastard and the individuals he had killed. The Seraphim paused for a moment to consider how the little Human must have considered the other beings in the station as his own brothers and sisters.
That moment nearly cost Tang. The human tried to raise his weak, explosives propelled, firearm. But tang wasted no time using his second two arms to bat the puny thing out of the Human's hands and slam him against the wall. Holding him so his feet were just above the ground.
"Human," Tang rattled, "You are just as pathetic as the rest." The Seraphim angled his rifle to point against the Human's jaw. "It truly was pure luck that you hit Rak's breathing tube... Now be ready to die."
Tang waited for the human's realization of his impending death to dawn upon him and wash across his face before he chose to pull the trigger. |

| There was no expression of impending death, no plea of panic, no sound or noise. Kath just lay pinned motionlessly limp against the elevator wall.
Straining the air out of his lungs he hissed,"You first".
In one swift arcing motion Kath grabbed the snout of the Arc rile forcing it towards the elevator ceiling, his other hand went for the Arc pistol holstered around the Seraphims chest. *Bang*, the Arc rifle went off breaking the ceiling upon them, and within a heart beat, the Arc pistol lay in Kaths hands aimed point blank onto the Seraphims breathing tubes, "No such thing as luck my Seraphim friend". He squeezed the trigger.
The Seraphim lay against the wall suffocating slowly, its breathing tubes letting out a dense viscous air. |

| Tang could barely contain his shock at the human's actions, nor could he express it. Everything happened before he had the opportunity to react. The ceiling had collapsed and before he knew it, his breathing tubes were shot through.
"Filthy Human," Tang rasped as he tried to grab the wildly flailing breathing tubes. He was quickly losing air. Just before his final breath, Tang tapped into his suit's commlink, "Go," He gasped, "My run ends here."
Zath's cry of rage echoed all the way to the elevators, but there was nothing he could do. Three military frigates were already on route to destroy the Serahipm's stolen freighter. The Tech-Master solemnly gave the order to his pilot to disembark and go to warp. And with a flash of light as the freighter entered warp, Zath swore revenge.

| The roar, brimmed with pain, tore down the hallway reverberating into the broken elevator Kath lay in under the crumbled ceiling. The Seraphim was dead, it's finally over he thought. As he pulled himself through the rubble he snagged onto the Seraphims Arc rifle, he gave it a tug and it came free. He continued his struggle to get out of the elevator debris. Out in the hallway he noted the Arc pistol must of been knocked out of his hands by falling debris, but the Arc rifle was worthy treasure. Seraphim technology is extremely powerful but very difficult to obtain as it is closely guarded, to lose a piece of their technology is blasphemous. But for Kath this rifle would allow him to take down more heavily armoured and powerful opponents, something he needed more then ever. Now brushing the dirt off his clothing he made his way back to his ship, carefully stepping over the carnage and death that riddled the docking spire. The main section of the station remained untouched but was on lock down with no one coming in or out, but he heard the Zaga'rathian and outlaw cruisers begin docking procedures, specifically to send special forces teams to eradicate the now fled Seraphim. He walked onto the docking tunnel to his stolen junker he locked the outer bulk doors and made his way to the cockpit. " Oh... Hello Human, I don't suppose this is your ship by any chance?" Kath pulled the Arc rifle into the droids direction careful of not shooting the control panels. "What the hell are you doing? And... You bloody left me on my own you bag of bolts!" The droid confidently and in a deep tone murmured "I gave you a warning you bag of flesh, but my calculations indicated a survival chance of 1.08% if we both fought the Seraphim raiders". Banging started on the outer bulk doors, "urgh..." Kath let out the words in more of a sigh then speach whilst lowering the Arc rifle, just do the engines start up and lets get out of here", the droid carried on with procedures. Dealing with the Zaga'rathians and outlaws would waste days of his time being questioned about the Seraphim raid, he noted that the cruisers must have been so close due the the current senate session being held on Zaga'rath, remembering something to do with creating a Federation. The junker jumped to FTL nano-seconds after the docking bolts released evading the cruisers around the station as they had little warning that the ship was going to leave, a risky move only done by a droid that could calculate it."Right droid, what is you name?" "My name is 010010010101011001101010100100101010100000101010001001" The droid chuckled, Kath sighed again. "But you can call me Red... I guess." "Red? You want me to call you a colour? You honestly lack imagination, i bet you choose that word because the interior of this ship is red and that was the easiest thing to compute." The droid twisted its oval head at Kath, "Good syllogism Human, but that is actually my TAG." "Tag? I thought you were a combat droid of sorts..." "Classified". Kath glanced at the ship navigation chart, his face took a serious look, "Red I need you to plot a course for Earth, there is a man or old man should i say as hes retired now that lives on the farming land in Canada. He was a close friend from my military days, he's a weapon smith, if not one of the best around and can sort out this Arc rifle for me so its usable. I can let you off on the planets surface, Earths not a bad place for a droid". "Very well", the droid began to chart a course to Earth.[Thread End] |
