Strengths:
Neutro-Wolframium - Made out of said material, this weapon is durable enough to take a beating without compromising its functions.
Dynamic Powering - While it has an energy cell to power it, it can also be powered with the Order of Shadows suits, being charged while holstered and in the hand.
Settings - Has multiple firing settings. It has the typical shock, stun, kill and overkill settings, on top of an automatic, semi-automatic, burst fire, and a mode swap between plasma projectiles and phaser beam.
Plasma Projectiles - Average against shielding, good against armor, leaves a plasma burn on organic tissue. Effective against non-organic targets.
Phaser Beam - Great against shielding, average against armor. Effective against organic targets.
Genetic Registration - To prevent misuse, the weapon holds a database of users who are allowed to use the weapon. Others will not be able to fire a single bullet.
Plasmatic Phaser Beam - By combining both firing types into one, the firing rate is reduced to a single charged shot with a bit of a cooldown, in return for increased sustained damage effective against all types of defences.

Weaknesses:
Clip Size - Because of the amount of tech inside of it, and due to the design being specifically made this way, the clip size is small and can only fire 30 plasma shots, 15 phaser beams, or 5 plasmatic phaser beams before needing the energy cell to be recharged. Typically mitigated by its unique charging method.
All-Rounder - While certainly effective in all situations, it lacks when it comes to specialization. Effective up to a medium range with increasing difficulty in aiming at long distances. Powerful in its own right, but lacking when up against a specialized defence. Capable of firing a lot, but falling short of assault rifle weaponry.

Description:
Order of Shadows Equipment: Plasmatic Phase Pistol “Kagenui”. A mass produced weapon carried by all members of the order, and at least two of them carried on them at all times for self defence and emergency response. The mainstay go-to weapon for all, but not a replacement for more specialized weaponry. Users tend to carry two of these while carrying more personalized weapons to fight their style. That said, a master of Gun Kata can still use these to terrifyingly stunning outcomes.
