History
Born on earth in the year 2546, Will Ward was born on a farm. He discovered his ability to blink at a young age. Never really trying to push it beyond 50 feet in line of sight. He didn't need more than that. One day, His parents sold him to a special school to get enough money to keep the farm open. The school was run by a psychopath. He trained the students in knives and small arms. While Will still learnt how to fight, he never really understood the motive behind his training. One day he was asked to kill another one of the students. They had stolen something, Will didn't remember. What he does remember is blinking behind the student and stabbing them in the back. This drove Will to Alcohol. He couldn't stand the thought of the life the other student had. He escaped the compound and ran away. Using his power to gain as much distance as he could. Blinking over and over again. He made it to a town where he stole some money. He used it to buy a bottle of whiskey. He offered his skills to a freighter, offering protection. That got him away from his past. A past that still haunts him.

Blinking alcoholic with some PTSD.

Special "school" trained him to fight.
