Strengths:Orichalcum Plating - Using the rarest metal available, it boasts the strongest defence, ultra-lightweight, durability, resistant to most types of damage, and the unique feature of being able to increase its defensive strength by a little more than double by channeling power through it.
Oxygen Tanks - Built in oxygen system with oxygen tanks, 7 oxygen cells in total across the suit, capable of providing a day’s worth of oxygen each, and about 10 days if conserving air.
Micro-Generator - An in-built generator designed to supply the necessary power required to run all of the individual systems in the suit. Can be run using several different things, but typically powered by trilithium crystals. A single trilithium crystal can power all systems for around 90 days, assuming power banks are full.
Power Banks - Stores generated energy, and can be replaced if necessary. There are 12 power cells within the suit to make up the power bank, combining to power all systems at 100% for a day each. As with the oxygen tanks, these are spread throughout the suit, so that any damage sustained won’t cause total failure.
Filtration System - Filters the air to make sure its breathable, even from outside sources. Can filter out harmful gases, liquids, particles floating in the air, even the smell, and leave just the necessities.
Life Support - A very vital function of the suit which performs many tasks. Monitors the lifesigns of the user, can make needleless IV infusions to keep the user healthy even without food and water provided the infusion resources are available (7 days worth provided in the suit), can induce a near-death state and coma to preserve the psychological or physical health under certain situations, and even halt the oxygen and power flow if there is a leak or damage, before sealing or re-routing any problems. It also controls the temperature of the suit, so that no matter what happens, the user can remain under perfect conditions inside.
Nanite Self Repair - This is a minor repair system which performs 2 tasks. The first is the maintenance of the suit. Repairing minor damage, limiting effects of major damage, creating bypasses if any functions are compromised, such minor things that don’t require much. The other is the preservation of the user’s life, by providing minor healing, particularly in cases of injuries caused by damage to the suit, such as a puncture. While it can’t heal wounds, they can surely seal minor wounds and relieve some of the problems.
Waste Management - Unfortunately, its not always possible to get in and out of a suit quickly, especially if one happens to be in the vacuum of space for extended periods of time. The waste management system takes any ‘waste’ and breaks them down and converts them into something useful, or to be purged at the next convenience.
Maneuvering Thrusters - Thrusters which allow movement in a full range of motion, particularly in zero-G environments. They are also programmed to automatically balance movement, so that the user isn’t stuck in perpetual movement by accident. There is one large thruster on the back to allow flight in zero-G, as well as reduce falling speeds while in gravity.
Micro-Computer Core - While not as extravagant as the other systems, this particular one is a key component that is well protected, has a built-in black box recording in the event of disasters, and essentially controls the entire suit to make it run properly. It is especially well protected from invasive techniques.
Micro-Gravity Unit - A system designed to create gravity within the suit to allow it to be unrestricted in a gravity environment. Even if it at most can only levitate a couple of meters off the ground, it is particularly useful when combined with the maneuvering thrusters.
Magno-Clamps - What use is a suit that can’t be used to walk on the walls or outside of a ship? Magno-clamps polarize part of the suit as it comes closer to contact with another surface. While harmless for the most part, it allows the user to latch onto a surface with any part of the suit. It also helps to stay attached, even when extreme forces are applied that could tear them away. Will let go if it passes the threshold that the suit, and wearer, can withstand.
Micro-Inertial Dampener - While not necessary in most suits, it was deemed necessary here because of the constant situations these suits would be put under. This system helps to absorb the shock and shake the wearer will feel from impacts and G-Forces. Thanks to this system, the suit can also be used for deployments without vehicles or drop pods, allowing them to insert themselves wherever necessary.
Weaknesses:Exo-Skeleton - This built in function usually would be a good thing, but unless one has a special constitution, it is nothing more than huge disadvantage. Instead of taking the load off and supporting the user, this one instead counters and strains every action the user makes. It can take up to a maximum of 6x the standard of human strength, but has a variable setting to allow for this burden to be reduced. If unauthorized users wear it, they will suffer the maximum setting. Can be useful for muscle and body training. When used by a bellerophon, this suit helps them to maintain their constitution. Without power, the strain is set to maximum.
Equipping - The equipping and removing of this suit is quite a strenuous task, to the point that it had a dedicated equipping station that would have an automated system equip it to them part by part. It is also quite rigid to the point that it stands upright even with no one in it, and there are dozens of parts. While one could see it as being able to wear only a few parts if they wanted, the suit is near useless unless the entire thing is put on as one. Unless they simply wish to be a meat shield and absorb a few heavy blows alone. Manually, can take anywhere between 10-60 minutes to equip or remove, depending on the experience of the person.
Magic - Due to the origin on the suit, there is no suitable counter prepared for magic, unless it happens to be blocked by sheer physicalities. The only ability to resist magic is its Orichalcum plating which happens to have a slight interference on magic when the suit is channeling energy through it.
Description:An all-purpose suit designed by the Order of Shadows, and modified specifically for the use of Bellerophons. Life support, self-powered, durable, usable anywhere and everywhere to the point that users wouldn’t want to take it off. This was exactly the wish of the creators. Due to their environment, users of this suit, as well as its child suit for Phantoms - “Genji” - this was meant to be worn at all times except when off duty or during their private time. Quite often worn during off time as well, it was so that one can be prepared for anything at anytime. Especially useful for tactical insertions and working in zero-G, compared to other EVA suits. On top of that, it duals as an armor. This specific armor type was designed to support the Bellerophon constitution and keep their muscles from atrophying while reducing risk of long term harm caused by increased gravity.
