Built by Erenson & Sons shipyards,the Triton Interceptor is a popular ship in the Imperial Navy designed to hunt down and eliminate bombers in space battles.
Using it's kinetic chaingun to deliver explosive rounds to enemy hulls whilst using Fusion Missile launchers to bring bear deadly hit and run attacks against otherwise formidable bomber craft.
It's Maxson-Pattern engines utilize advanced Ion thrusters that allow it to speed away towards enemy forces however unlike the Plasmic thrusters in most Varanus designed spacecraft it has a deadly flaw of unleashing radiation that can be tracked...Prolonged exposure to this radiation is also dangerous to pilots who remain near the thrusters after activation from deployment.
