Merceneires operating in the Zone, Zone Mercs or just even Mercs are well just that, guns for hire working inside the Zone. The Mercs in some regards are simillar to Loners, both groups are motivated by gaining profit, they are not orginised and centerlised factions and they lacked uniffied standard for equipment but Mercs stuff is usualy better. Here though similarities end because Loners usualy find the job opurtunities inside the Zone itself and when Loner does something he does it on behalf of one of the inside forces, Mercs are almost entirely contracted by an utside force like Corporations and such even major factions, of course if they cared about the Zone, that is. Even though Mercs are not solitifed group with central power structure and no unified equipment, all Zone Mercs share an blue badge of a ealge head, this is symbol of the Mercs in the Zone and it is also a warning sign since messing with an merc or group of mercs means also messing with their employer, and even Mercs are not especialy hapy when some random bandits start attacking them so all of them kind of adopted this sign, probably comomerate one of the more Famous merc groups "Screaming Eagles"
