- The Kevlar vest wrapped on the chestplate contains various pouches whilst adding more protection against small arms fire.
- The facemask provides limited protection against small arms fire and chemical threats.
- The facemask also allows users to traverse low/non-oxygen worlds as it is also a rebreather.
- The fabric of the uniform is durable against all terrains and absorbs sweat and other body fluids.
- The chestplate itself is lightweight and doesn't hamper movement.
- The uniform and it's essentials are extremely cheap to produce.

Weaknesses
- The limbs and lower body of the troopers are unarmoured and vulnerable to damage.
- The armour has a weakness to piercing melee weaponry.
- The chestplate is hard to remove in medical emergencies in most cases.
- Emp-based weapons can disable the air converter that in turn disables the helm's ability to provide air in places where it is lacking.
- No protection against magics.
Description
The Solus-pattern is a overwhelmingly popular battledress used by the Expeditionary Marine Corps and in a sense has become a symbolic uniform used by Non-Varanus {specifically humans} in the Imperial Army as a whole.
The Uniform consists entirely of a alien fabric that is relatively durable and the Tiranian chestplate that protects the torso of the user where most of the vital organs lie,and also features a Air conversion system powered by a energy cell that provides oxygen/other gasses to the wearer's helm.
The uniform is most popularly used with the crimson red that represents the Imperium but camouflaged variants are also produced for various planetary environments.
The wearer's helm as pictured above features a metallic stretched outwards with a facemask that conceals the user's identity and provides oxygen and cooling to the face depending on the environments they are sent to.
The chestplate seals around the user's torso which allows the chestplate to sit comfortably on the user, however it is much harder to forcefully remove which is a means of defense but also a risk should the medical units need to remove the chestplate to get to wounds.
Officers recieve thicker chestplates and a gauntlet with a tactical holo-gauntlet built into it.
