Description
Massive upgrades and improvements on the original "
Eye in the Sky" spy ship.
With "borrowed" Ordriey biotechnology, the ship was rendered able to form a truly symbiotic bond with the pilot, and sort out most structural issues literally healing. The ship was also able to camouflage itself across the radar and infrared utilized wavelengths using genetically engineered chromatophores. The living mind of the ship is telepathic and is able to not only communicate with the pilot and use the pilot's own eyes as remote cameras, but detect magic and psionics, and give hard data on their detection, signature, and use.
The inertial dampers were also replaced and the main engine upgraded to give a maximum acceleration of 1200 G, almost 300% of the original.
Standard stealth systems unique to the Leverian Navy were introduced alongside the ship's bioegineered stealth ability, making it difficult at best to detect by their standards.
Jump drive was replaced with a smaller, less power intensive model, allowing for a smaller, more stable jump field and a far less unique signature warping in, modulated to look like a simple sensor anomaly.
Ship remained unarmed at miss Ironhart's request and the advanced stealth systems in play. A ship designed to get in, get a scan, and get out undetected has no need for the extra mass of weapons systems.
Design remained biphasic with reentry capable landing system and orbiting satellite module, however, both pods were given more powerful engines with lower power requirements, allowing independent orbital escape.
