It can fire anything you can fit into a shell and comes with several different shell types standard to accomplish several jobs. Weaknesses The VDSG is a shotgun. It has a lack of range as its primary weakness, and with only 8 shots it isn't the best suppression weapon. Description The VDSG-1, Black Star Industries answer to close quarters crowd control. Slug ShellsSlug Shells are one of the most common shells produced. Firing a solid 3oz slug, this is by far the hardest-hitting shell in the lot. Whatever it hits will certainly feel the impact as it imparts 18,218 ft/lbs into its target. 750-meter max range. Due to the high pressure of the round, these shells are made of metal, and not plastic.
[size=16]Buckshot[/size]Buckshot, the favoured round of most who use the Shotgun. The 8 Gauge VD buckshot, it will maintain a lethal grouping up to 100-meters, but that doesn't mean it's not a bad thing to get hit by at further distances.
[size=16]High Explosive[/size]For when you want whatever it is you are looking at to die, there is the High Explosive Shell. There are three types of HE Shells. HE, HE-Fg, and HE-AP. It's effective distance is 100 meters.
- High Explosive: Standard High Explosive Slug. Blast Radius of 1.5 meters.
- High Explosive Fragmentation: This is an Anti-Personnel slug under the HE line. It has a 1.5 meter blast radius, and a 3 meter lethal fragrment radius.
- High Explosive Anti-Armour: This is an Anti-Armour shell. It has a shaped charge in the nose, and can effectively help the shell punch through 2 inches of steel.
FlameThe Flame Shell is packed with magnesium, sending a spray of flames up to 100 feet. It can catch fire to ignitable materials.
