The Alienation Zone, or just The Zone for short, is a territory once belonging to Demonic Crusade and Lucian Kingdom which was left realativly untouched by any major power, which basicly made it one of the most dangerous places in galaxy with Demonic Leftovers attacking and raiding anything that moves through there not to mention that no one seems to be dealing with the fact that Demons are flinging Demon stuff everywhere which usualy results in things exploding. With all that Demonic stuff lying about and no one doing anything about it some realy clever,stupid or desperate people started going ther mostly to get some scrap to sell but many found something interesting on the planets and in the space debris: The Artifacts. Artifacts are objects of certain interesting properties for which they are sought after by certain ptivate citizens. Artifacts usualy are divided in 2 categories: Full Demonic ones; create by purpose by demons and acidental ones which are made by an object being near Demonic Radiation for quite some time and some other rather unspecified variable, the second kind are the most sought after since there is a higher chance of them not killing and the guy who finds it and also this artifacts are the ones with usefull, for general public, properties like absobing massive amounts of heat at low cost of radiating of the Demonic Radiation. This created a kind of guld rush like event which realy took of at the beginning of the whole Helix debacle, and thanks to that it became a kind of secret talk about mostly by people on fringes of GSU and some free planets with goverments that had interstellar technologies, and were nearby. This lead to creation a certain kind of Mini galaxy inside the Zone over the course of those 2 years, with their own factions, wars and technology created specificly for the needs of any one entering the Zone
