Ambitious as the project was the Imperials had the technology for it,added with the fact that the Ananaki possessed something they called xoxoctic crystals that they claim could aid in the revitalization of the planet's ecosystem.

A week passed and the sculpting operation was completed. 

The fleet was recalled to orbit and the Engineering Corps began the next phase of the operation.The barrens designated as the Scarlet Coast was seeded with the seeds that will make up the planetary flora,and several hundred freighters arrived from Argatu with water to serve as the basis to restart the hydrosphere of the planet.

The freighters would go to work by dumping their cargo in the pits dug by the navy,an absurd amount of water slosh in the dry pits,the fresh water reserved to create inland lakes and dams.After the water had been introduced the world sculptors of the Engineering Corps worked alongside the Ananaki to introduce the supposed crystal that could help revitalize the barren sands to lush jungles.

"The seeding process has begun and has shown considerable progress my lord,the Ananaki crystal has shown great prowess in revitalizing the barren landscape,we are now ahead of schedule by one month as the seeds have already started a slow sprout.Many of our fellow botanists cannot hold their excitement.


We have however run into several complications,most of which is caused by the actual effectiveness of the crystal,it has grown outside of our projections and predictions and forced us to divert a large amount of manpower to keep the floral growth in check otherwise the growth may become too dense and will lead to further expenses to redevelop the land for colonization.The Ananaki warned us of the potency of the crystal which we are now carefully seeding alongside maintenance drones and assigned botanists.

Green hue's would light the New Serpentum desert nights as the gigantic terraforming machine would activate a mixture of solar radiation and automatic seeding of the emerald crystals the Ananaki provided,it would emit light that caused spontanic growth only amplified with the exposure of the crystals. The machine pulsed with energy and roared mechanical beeps that echoed throughout the desert. It's arms scoured the dead sands whilst dropships buzzed around it carrying the scientests of the Engineering Corps and soldiers from the Army tasked with guarding them should any Helix remnants attempt a strike on the Terraformer.

"The end result of our recovery program was....as the Zodarrin humans would say..Wanting?....Below expectation....We could only recover 8% of our total count and given the Helix Campaign we won't be diverting more resources to recovering the rest anytime soon.


Regardless of this development my team has already began the rebirthing phase,we have several refurbished battleships turned into breeding labs and will begin a rapid reintroduction program within the following week,because this is still a development process we urge that a specialized branch of rangers to be stationed on New Serpentum to ensure the fauna does not deviate from our planned evolutionary path.Lest we have a confused wildlife trying to understand it's place in the food chain which will lead to clashes with our population.


Until then I request that the colonization program be delayed for another week while we monitor the wildlife's reaction to the new enviroment.

Soon enough after several weeks of observation the Imperium began the construction effort to rebuild the capital city.They had to choose a location that was both defensible and accessible to the rest of the planet.

After much debate the Engineering Corps chose to settle the new capital near the inner sea upon a foundation area that would suit the 21,000 Sq Km city.The city was to be named Serpentum City in the common tongue and would carry many names from the many peoples that call it home.

Large amounts of minerals would be brought from Turun to fuel the construction effort,millions of drones and their builder handlers would scurry across the reworked dirt fields being paved with roads and foundations of the future capital city.
