History
Xukai was born on the orc dominated planet of Zexion in a small tribe of mages that had settled there in their travels and found it a place they could work with little distraction from outside forces, the orcs their only opponents and for the most part easily defended against. With the orcish influence of the planet the tribe had taken on some of their ideals of strength and power, with a culture of single combat and honourable fighting defining your role within the tribe. Xukai from the earliest onset proved different to the other mages, able to harness the powers of life and shadow rather than the elemental abilities that the rest possessed which caused more to resent and fear him.
It wasn't long till he grew in power and began to rise in the rankings of his tribe, his shadow and life magics making him a foe that grew with each kill, but still he could never defeat the current leader. After countless defeats and several near death experiences he left the tribe to search for power that could defeat it's leader and allow him to gain the position he sought.
