Weaknesses
He is vulnerable to all injuries and diseases that humans are vulnerable to, therefore beings with superhuman characteristics shouldn't have a problem with him when it comes to direct combat.
Despite maintaining good health, his old age has to a degree deteriorated his skills and he is therefore not as efficient as he once was in his days of service.

History
Al Apone was born on the planet Minaria and joined the UNSC Corps at the age of 17, taking inspiration from his father - an ODST who was rendered KIA in the field of battle against Insurrectionists. Al Apone excelled in his training and education, becoming one of the most highly regarded students in his academy. He went on to become an efficient soldier in the field of battle and was soon given command over his own squad. Apone also went on to become an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper and performed numerous operations against the Insurrection and later, the Covenant.
Soon after the war, Apone joined the crew of the UNSC Destiny's Harbinger and was placed in charge of the ship's complement of marine soldiers. There, he established close ties with Spartan Fireteam Aqua, Commander Kristen Cartwright and the ship's Captain Ronald Whitley. The crew went on to perform various missions against supernatural threats like Armageddon and Draetheus as well as the Scorpio Insurrectionist faction. His final, biggest deployment was on the Forerunner Shield World Haven which resulted in one of the biggest bloodbaths in human history. All of Apone's soldiers had fallen. Captain Whitley went down with his ship and Spartan's Marshall, Bobbinson and Aaron-157 were rendered KIA at the end of the conflict. Kristen was among the few who survived. While the UNSC emerged victorious, Apone was deeply scarred by the events and subsequently retired with Kristen in order to establish a family with her on Earth. Both are now happily married with two children and own their own property in the rural parts of Long Island.
