Following an explosion of dark energy in the main spaceport, Tortuga has fallen to The Darkness. It is a now a metal shell of a space station inhabited by tormented souls.

Following the breaking of The Wall, Zalgo has claimed the greedy inhabitants of Norma Prime as his subjects. All who resisted his dark curse perished. The cities are now streets of nothing but darkness and torment.
