TK-47. A world tainted by both magic and a gene-altering disease which changed the populace to the point where magic and nature intertwined. The people of the world, known as Dryads, had recently returned to the world, quickly setting up their magical attributes throughout a single city of the dark arts, the vile beasts of the world gathering here in their thousands. This was why, at that very moment, a massive fleet, consisting of eighty cruisers and a myriad of other ship types, escaped lightspeed right above TK-47.

The Reich had come to cleanse this world. Of the dark arts and its users, their despicable cultures to be wiped away from existence and never seen again. Grand Inquisitor Krieg stood ready at the bridge of the lead Cruiser, The Revence, staring down as hundreds of dozens of transport ships began to descend upon TK-47. Two pairs of these transports were carrying Dominus walkers, the Dominus Drybane and the reused Dominus Umbra from the Zenean campaign. Millions of soldiers would be upon the ground within the hour, as would be hundreds of thousands of tanks and other armored vehicles which would move to end the threat on TK-47, and claim the world for the Reich.

"My soldiers," The Grand Inquisitor declared, "Today is a glorious day for the Reich. Today, we shall strike at this planet and wipe it of the horrid threat that it offers our growth. We shall extract it, like a cancer from our side. Together, as a people, we, the Inquisitorial Reich, will eliminate the threat of the so-called 'Dryadic Foraoise' and claim TK-47 as another jewel on the Reich's glorious crown! FOR THE REICH!"

REICH GOALS:

* Clear the airspace of any threats. Eliminate all Dryadic Air Units by any means necessary.
* Take the city, destroy all resistance in the process of doing so. If needed, destroy the city as well
* Destroy all traces that the Dryads had ever existed from TK-47.

Mordeci was already en route to the planet's surface inside his Intervention Transport, his new personal guard, the Godslayers as they called themselves, though they were merely Witch Hunters. The team that had the most time on the field. They had aided in the capture and execution of Daniel Almis, and had earned a place at Mordeci's side for that. They set down inside the city, fighting already raging around him as Dryads and their monsters refuse the Inquisition's edict of destruction. The fools would learn soon enough- of that he was sure.

He stepped out, shooting twice, killing two Dryads before they knew what was happening. Above, eagles tried to escape with surviving Dryads, the cowards. He lifted his rifle, taking potshots at the eagles, knocking a few out of the sky. "Take the city, troops! End this wretched blight, and save the live of countless innocents! Look around at this desert planer. This is what happens when Magic runs a planet- death and destruction. And still yourselves in this slaughter, for you are saving more lives than you shall take today!"

Meanwhile, the battle in space was an easy one. 

Several of the odd space beasts of the Dryads had tried to flee. However, these whales were not preparing for complete annihilation, as four cruisers quickly intercepted the space-borne beasts, their superior cannons blasting into the fleshy sides of the behemoths.

Meanwhile, in the upper atmosphere, a space beast had somehow managed to get close enough to slash into the engines of a Vigilance Cruiser, forcing it to begin to dive, smoke trailing it while its engines roared. Krieg's transport slowly descended, as several lines of artillery began to fire on the city's central area. They were determined to destroy these heretics, these abominations, which could hurt the very existence of mankind, like the nearby Immortals. Krieg pulled his blade as he exited the transport, slashing his cutlass into a massive wolf as a tank rammed into its side, firing a rifle into its side rapidly. The hairy creature fell to the ground, and the Grand Inquisitor pulled his blade from the creature's hide, pointing it forwards as the Dominus Umbra stomped past, firing rounds at a far-off enemy. "Together, my soldiers! We shall win!"

The immense violence in the planet created a strong psychic signal, and Ordrud was quick to follow such a signal. The dark entity - if it could - licked its lips in anticipation of as it anchored itself to TK-47. For 50 years it had traversed the darkness of space, searching for lifeforms to devour; now it heard the clarion call of a people on the verge of annihilation, and spiteful minds of those who would destroy them. Ordrud didn't care; all these lifeforms would become sustenance when it finally arrives on the planet. However, until that time, the dark entity would require a vessel. 

On the ravaged surface of TK-47, a lone Reich soldier swore he'd seen a Dryad suddenly convulse and fall to the blood stained floor before rising once again and running off into the haze of smoke and blood. The Dryad, once known as Kuro Kai, was now the vessel of Ordrud; its will now lost to the pyschic might of the dark entity that veered its path to TK-47. 

The imperials had never encountered it before, and this would its first contact with Ordrud. They will be unpleasantly surprised. 

In the darkness of space, the dark entity laughed; but no one would hear its laughter.
