Strengths
The Stele allows Shadowhunters to draw their specialized runes on their bodies giving them skills and abilities beyond regular Humans. Some of these abilities include but are not limited to enhanced speed, enhanced reflexes, night-vision, invisibility and clairvoyance.
Weaknesses
Most runes drawn by a Stele are only temporary.
Description
When the Nephilim discovered their natural affinity for Rune Magic, their ancestor, the Archangel Gabriel, created the Stele. The Stele works by temporarily burning angelic runes into the user's skin. The magic of the runes then seeps into the user's soul, granting them a variety of different abilities (depending on the rune they use) for a short time.
