Strengths
-Mass boarding warping. The impalers are roughly the size of a school bus with very sharp points and armor piercing abilities. The missiles hold many teleporters that can quickly warp teams to the destination of the warper. This allows for rapid boarding of enemy ships.

Weaknesses
-Weaknesses. The impalers are projectiles that need a slight charge up before the static teleporters can be used, this gives the crew of a hostile ship a bit of time to destroy the projectile, wich is armored but not invincible. 

Description
An old weapon recently kicked up with more modern tech, the impaler missiles are designed to safely transport boarding crew to their destination. It has recently been equiped with charge up teleporters that can rapidly transport crews with a slight interval. The teleporting works through a teleport anchor, wich is a selectable destination on the lifeline warp device. Selecting this destination charges up the teleporter for a short time and warps the user instantly to the anchor.

So, only the people within these "missiles" have personal teleporting technology? Not a giant continuous portal?

Wait, so these aren't missiles at all. They shoot projectiles are anchor them inside the enemy ship. Still technically connected by energy? Then, units are teleport through a doorway and appear on the other side of the connection?

No. It is a hollow vehicle like missile that cannot be controlled wich pierces armor. Once it lays still it will act as a warp anchor wich is a set destination you can travel to with a remote teleporter.
