The Admiral sat once again in his private quarters, listening to the news as he sifted through file after file on his datapad.
"Last night, a police officer claimed to have uncovered what he claimed was enough evidence against the Knight's Initiative. On further inspection by the city's commissioner, it was found out that the Knight's Initiative were secretly teaching the students more than what the general public and Education Department were assured. In an interview with the commissioner himself, the evidence consisted of lessons of 'unsanctioned and dangerous skills of potential terrorism' where students were slowly being taught how to use their powers effectively against humans. Further evidence indicated a map with multiple buildings highlighted in the city with at least two being scenes of terrorist attacks in the past weeks. Authorities believe that had the evidence not been discovered, the death toll in the city would have rose exponentially."

As the news continued to go on, Admiral Yusuf stopped swiping the datapad he was holding and stopped at an article. The Knight's Initiative was being shut down it seemed, and this order came directly from the Unified Earth Government. All of it's boarding students were being taken into custody along with staff while searches were being conducted to find any other students that didn't live at the building. Other individuals closely affiliated with the Initiative were "being kept an eye on" but the article didn't specify whom. Following these events, there were massive uproars across the globe: mass protests and also crimes of violence and vandalism committed against supernaturals but in some cases, the victims were also the perpetrators. It was a mess.

Selina appeared at his desk. The Admiral put his datapad down and nodded at her to proceed.
"Fireteam Aqua have arrived and are ready to deploy. Command just sent in coordinates to the locations of different supernaturals across the globe. You have a battalion of ODSTs to also accompany you. Command recommends that you reserve the Spartans for the more.. complicated situations. You have a month to reel them all in and turn them over to ONI for protective custody.
As she finished, the Admiral's expression didn't change. It made sense to him. The supernaturals needed protection, and the general public couldn't be trusted. Not with so many radical groups spewing hate and committing acts of crime against them. But deep down he felt something was off. Just how did ONI plan to protect these people? How did they plan to re-introduce them to society when society itself rejected them so harshly?

"There it is." Gavin pointed at the screen. "Meteor Enterprises. What a shit name."
Silas walked over and looked at the screen. "Oh, them."
Gavin turned around and looked at him. "You know them?"
"Yeah, business rival. Why?"
Gavin turned back around on the chair and faced the screen again.
"Well, your competitor somehow drafted itself into the stock exchange. Very near the top actually."
Silas said nothing, which prompted Gavin to continue.
"Look, I keep my eye on the stock market. I've been doing so for years alright? This company came out of nowhere. They somehow made it to the top within just half a decade. That's not possible. And no one's been asking questions either. They're just... there."
Silas looked at Gavin, and then back at the screen. "Maybe they're just... that good?" Gavin looked at him, an annoyed expression on his face. He sighed, shaking his head and looking back at the screen.
"Look," Silas continued. "I became a billionaire within five years and my company rose to the top pretty quickly, so it's not too out of the ordinary you know."
"You didn't become a billionaire in five years, Silas. You worked up one hell of a paycheck in your time as a Colonel. And then you used that money to buy a shitload of shares from your friend's business until he sold most of them to you and retired. The company itself was always at least in the FTSE 100s. You just..."
"...made it better?" Silas said, finishing his sentence with a smile. Gavin sighed again and resumed working, researching about the company's business activities.

It has been two weeks since the Knight's Initiative had it's courses suspended and the building itself seized for inspection. Immediately after those events, Diana, Jaya and Avalon had vanished and no one, not Gavin, Silas, or any of the other supernaturals that were close to the three including Temperance knew where they were. Both men were worried but Gavin was the one whose annoyance was greater than his concern.
"Check it out." Silas said as he began to turn the volume up on one of the many computer screens that were located in the secret hideout underneath Silas's mansion. The news about the Knight's Initiative shutting down came through and Gavin's attention was drawn from the computer screen. Silas's expression went from that of shock to anger, while Gavin was unphased.
"Those bastards.. how could they? It's a lie!" Silas said in anger.
"No shit," Gavin said in response. Silas looked at him.
"Don't you see? They're taking the kids in as well! They're being handed over to ONI for protective custody! ONI!"
Gavin looked at him. "Ah shit."
Silas then turned and took off towards the elevator, Gavin following close behind.

Diana was sitting in the living room,  a sour look on her face.  "Took you long enough to get your asses up here.  Your alarm system is total shit by the way,  Silas. " She had two guns laid out on the table,  loading them then pulling the hammer back.  

"Are we going or not? "

As Jaya landed atop the mansion her wings folded back inwards to her body, becoming hidden by the natural enchantments all angels had upon their shoulder-blades. Swiftly she dropped down to a ledge below, steadying herself to cast a spell. Once ready her form shifted and allowed her entrance through the glass of the window, a short enough time to get inside and touch the carpeted floor of the mansion. 

From there onwards she walked normally in her new attire and appearance. On top of the obvious changes to her form including white hair and bright orange eyes, her apparel had changed too. Now she wore leather armour seemingly custom made for herself with a dark green shawl covering her shoulders halfway down to her elbow. Blightslayer was secured tightly in a back sheathe above the cloth for any to see.

Slowly she walked into the room where the others were, casting a glance at Diana before setting her gaze on the others. She let them take in her new look for a moment, before giving a small smile.

"Hey," She said half-timid, her voice still sounding the same should they have needed anymore clarification on who she was. "It's a long story."

Gavin and Silas both stared at Diana, with Silas casting more of a glare.
"You'll be explaining yourself later, Youngblood." He said. "But right now-" He stopped as Jaya entered the mansion in her new attire.
Gavin's focus also shifted from Diana to Jaya and he looked her over.
"Damn. Leveled up much?" He joked dryly.
"That makes both of you." Silas said, the glare still prevalent on his face but slightly softened now. "We need to get moving, I the Knight's Initiative has just been breached." Silas said as he walked past Jaya and towards a different part of the house. Gavin followed him around the corner and through a door that connected the mansion to a large garage. Silas entered through the door and the lights automatically flicked on, revealing a large room with white shiny walls, ceiling and floor. Silas walked over to the other side from where they entered and typed his credentials into a computer screen embedded into the wall. A collection of super cars and 4x4 vehicles displayed themselves on the screen as Silas scrolled through them sideways.
"Will be needing a Hog for this one. Nothing too flashy, we don't wanna draw too much attention." Gavin piped in.
"I know," Silas said as he tapped on a matte black 4x4 Hog.
The floor at the center of the room opened up in a circular shape and descended as a platform down to half a meter before sliding back out of view. Another marble platform rose after a few seconds, with the black Hog situated on top of it. Gavin let himself crack a sly smile as he saw the vehicle, clearly a bit of a cars enthusiast.
As the platform leveled with the rest of the floor, Silas walked over and got into the driver's seat. Gavin followed and took shotgun position, his smile growing.
"Now this is what I'm talking about."
Both waited for the other two to join them.

Diana snorted and rolled her eyes,  "Quit acting like my father.  But then,  watching you get the signature Youngblood family death glare later might be entertaining. " She remarked,  moving to slide the two blocks into their holsters which we're concealed by her jean jacket.  Diana for up and began to follow after Silas and Gavin,  "No fair. I wanted shot gun. " Diana pouted but quickly got over it when her phone buzzed in her pocket,  a mischievous grin spreading across her face. 

She leaned over and whispered in Jaya's ear,  "Don't tell them quite yet.  I wanna see Silas's face. " Then she moved away , climbing in the backseat. "Avalon is with her girlfriend,  I moved them somewhere safer. " Diana buckled up,  pulling out her phone and beginning to text with a snicker.

Upon hearing mention of the Knight's Jaya looked concerned, moving quickly to follow Silas. All the way she listened intently before speaking herself.
"What's going on? Are the Knight's okay?" She asked as they climbed into the vehicle, Jaya taking a seat nearest to Diana.

Once buckled in she placed Blightslayer across her lap, running her finger across it's etched runes. Ever since unlocking the blade's power she'd felt almost linked to it personally. It was not only that though. When banishing Zalgo she had sworn he would remain trapped for as long as the sword lived.

Knowing her own weapon held the fate of a dark celestial being carried some emotional weight to say the least...

Silas accelerated the Hog through the streets of the city, keeping the meter right on the maximum speed limit while fighting the urge to violate the law altogether to get there quickly.
"The Knight's Initiative is being shut down, Jaya." He finally responded as he stopped at a red light. He then hit the steering wheel with the palm of his hand. "Come on!"
Gavin looked back at the two. "Over the last few months, I've seen multiple social media pages created both for and against supernaturals. And this is pretty much worldwide. Some say you guys should bugger off and leave the planet alone, while the others are campaigning for these hate pages to be shut down."
As Silas stepped on the accelerator, Gavin turned to look at the front for a split second, before going back to them. "These pages have grown in numbers and size. Very soon, I don't think it's gonna be safe for a lot of us to even be out in the streets. There have already been a number of hate-crimes."

As they arrived at the Knight's Initiative building, all of them would collectively have been met with the sight of a large crowd gathered outside and around the site. Multiple people were holding up signs containing messages of protest against the Initiative, with most shouting profanities towards the building.
Silas dismounted from the vehicle and arrived right at the edge of the crowd, standing a meter before it. His attempts at trying to see anything through the crowd were in vain, however Gavin instead climbed onto the top of the Hog and stood up straight. He then announced what he could see over the crowd to the two women below:
"Police jeeps have surrounded the building. Holy... I think it's special forces. They're coming out of the building now... with the children. They're in a line and being lead out of the- what the fuck? They're all in cuffs! The students, teachers, everyone. They've been arrested! They're getting put into these vans."
He looked down at them through the sunroof.
"I'm sorry, I don't think we can do anything for them." He said as Silas began to walk back to the Jeep.

Unbeknownst to them, a few people around the outside of the protest group began to take notice of their presence...

Diana let out a curse, "Are they even legally allowed to do that?" The blonde pulled out her phone, looking down at it anxiously. "Damn it, where is she?" Diana got out of the vehicle, slipping her sunglasses on and a baseball cap. "This is like 9/11. Arresting everyone willy nilly, I promise you that ONI is behind all of this." 

Diana began pushing towards the front, shooting a scowl at anyone who gave her flack. "Bunch of crazies hopped up on hatred and drugs. Not all of us are to blame for your shitty lives." She growled under her breath, finally managing to get to the front just as a smell hit her nose. Her lips curled up into a smirk, cracking her knuckles as well. 


"She's here~."

A shape suddenly appeared in the midst of a group of special service agents and students, moving too quickly to see with the naked eye as she grabbed the wrist of one student. "Try and link up with as many people as you can!" The wide-eyed student nodded, grabbing another persons arm while that person grabbed another's arm. Within seconds at least 10 students vanished, causing an uproar of confusion among the authority. "What the hell was that?!" "Hey where are those vans going?" Some of the vans were taking off as well, at least three drivers were knocked out and tossed in a heap where the vans used to be. 

While some authorities were preoccupied with the vans, three more groups of ten had vanished out of thin air. The authorities didn't seem to know where to turn, but they began spreading out and breaking the students off into smaller groups. The crowd was beginning to fall into disarray, wondering what was happening and where the students were disappearing to. But very quickly the disappearances stopped, a woman with long red hair appearing on top of one of the vans that hadn't driven off and disappeared by now. "Hello! Hello! Hello! You know, I don't think its all that legal to be snatching people up and arresting them like this. Reminds me of when the government thought everyone was a terrorist after 9/11. So many arrests." 

One special forces officer took a shot at her, landing in her shoulder but she hardly seemed to flinch. The officer watched in shock as the wound the bullet left quickly began to close and heal, as if it had never been there in the first place. "Now! Let's have a show shall we?" Then the red haired woman disappeared, a smirk on her face although most of it was obscured by the sunglasses and baseball cap. Suddenly she was in the center of a group of special forces, holding two whips which she sent out with a flick as flames began to curl around them. She spun around, using the fiery whips to slice the tips off all the guns. "Let's play."

Jaya sighed as she continued to look down at Blightslayer. Silas told her what he could see and that was enough for her to lose faith. Maybe the initiative wasn't a good idea after all she thought. Her dismay lifted slightly when the commotion occurred. Jaya's mother was now in the crowd and making quite the scene.

Jaya smiled as the kids were teleported away to safety, but seemed unsure about Kitty's eagerness to fight.
"Are we sure about fighting? Especially in public?" She looked mainly to the others near here, wondering whether any of them knew Kitty was going to show up.
"We don't want to make things worse for the media." Her concerning gaze shifted to Kitty in the midst of the officers, trying to catch her attention to let her worries be seen.

The attack became apparent to Silas as the once still-standing crowd escalated into a pandemonium, with people frantically trying to get away from the building.
The Spec Ops soldiers nearest to Kitty holstered their weapons and took out their electric batons, all of them lunging towards her at once with the full intent to batter and subdue as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile the rest of the vans containing a total of the remaining 450 students managed to escape into the roads across the crowd from Silas's Hog.
Some of the protestors stayed however to see how the ordeal would end while a few others finally took notice of and recognised Gavin. Upon further inspection, they were also able to recognise Jaya and due to Diana's appearance being similar to Kitty's, she wasn't gone unnoticed either. Silas saw this and began to back away towards the Hog.
"Ah damn.."
Meanwhile Gavin was still stood on top of the Hog, a large frown on his face.
"Sorry but, your sister is a complete idiot. Jaya's right, she's made it all the more difficult for us now." He said, the anger in his voice prevalent. He jumped down just as Silas reached the Hog.
"Get into the car! Now!"
"Huh?" Gavin turned to look just in time to see some of the protestors storm their location, attacking him, Silas and vandalising the Hog at the same time. Some protestors tried to get the door to the backseats open, their primary target being Jaya.
"She's a terrorist!"
"Don't let her escape!"
"Turn her in!"
"Hang her!"
Silas and Gavin struggled against the brute force of multiple people at once, all the while trying to ignore the pain of their attacks while getting into the vehicle.

Diana started to make her way back to the Hog,  but someone grabbed her arm.  "Come on sis. That golem won't last long. I'm almost out of juice. " The blonde looked to the hand that was around her arm in confusion, it was connected to a preppy looking girl with platinum blonde hair and green eyes. "Like the glamour?" Diana frowned but now if she concentrated she could see the magic that most people wouldn't, the air around Kitty seemed to shimmer and her form rippled. 

 The people in the crowd didn't seem to notice the young blonde girl,  if anything she looked like she was coming home from school.  "I didn't intend for this to happen.  My plan was to let them shoot the golem in the head and think I was dead. " The fake sunny smile on the girl's face unnerved Diana.  "Gavin just had to stand up on that stupid car and attract attention. "

"Well it's Gavin. " "Whatever we need to go now. " Kitty shoved people aside to get to the Hog,  just as a high pitched scream rang out and Kitty's golem crumpled to the ground,  seemingly dead.  Kitty reached forward and grabbed Jaya while Diana grabbed Silas's arm and Gavin's.  "Don't let go! Were going back to the house. "

Jaya shifted as far away from the doors as she could in an attempt to escape the protesters should they manage to open the doors. She didn't want to use any of her powers directly against them and so all she did at first was retreat further into the middle of the hog. When their attempts became more brutal she subtly outstretched her hand and cast a spell around the edges of the door. Holy light ran thinly between the gaps and kept it sealed shut long enough for Kitty to grab her.

Jaya was startled at the sudden hand, but turned to realise it was her mother just as she spoke.

As soon as Kitty had appeared by them, the next thing Silas knew was that they were back in the mansion - along with 50 other kids.
"Well that's just great isn't it?" He said as he began to straighten his clothes that were messed up from the attacks. "That's 100'000 credits I probably won't be getting back anytime soon. Thanks by the way." He said to Kitty.
Gavin was rubbing his head, a large bruise forming where he'd been hit multiple times.
"Thanks? Do you know what she just did?"
"Saved us?"
"No, she made everything worse! Now everyone things we ARE criminals. It would have been better to let them take the kids. We could have handled it, proved their innocence and had them released. But I guess that's just been complicated hasn't it?" Gavin said, his tone full of anger. He walked over to one of the tables, watched by the 50 children who were dead silent at this point, to pour himself a glass of wine.
"It's a week away from Christmas and this shit's just happened. This won't go down too well in history, in fact if there's any inconvenience during the people's holidays, it'll be easier to blame us now." He said before taking a sip.
Silas shook his head and turned his attention to Kitty. "Long time no see eh? Last I saw you, we finished ending that war between the vampires and lycans in the other dimension. Time flies." He said with a soft laugh. But then his expression turned serious.
"Look, I get that we need to keep these students safe. But they're gonna come for them, the authorities will be searching. And while they don't know they're here.. well," he looked over to the group and then back, "we can't keep 'em hidden forever."

There was a pop and suddenly Kitty looked like Kitty again instead of a blonde schoolgirl, although she looked a bit paler than usual, using all that magic in such a short amount of time had left her dizzy and feeling a bit weak. She leaned against the wall, sending a nod in Silas's direction before fixing her eyes on Gavin with a glare. "There was no chance of proving their innocence you imbecile. You must have drunken away all your brain cells." She folded her arms over her chest, she was also dressed differently. Instead of a t-shirt, vest, and a pair of shorts she wore a striped sweater with a light jacket over it and a pair of jeans tucked into...hunting boots. "You're wearing shoes." Diana stated dumbly and Kitty just waved her off, continuing to talk to Gavin.

"The kids I didn't manage to get are as good as dead. The second ONI gets their hands on them they're either dead, lab rats, or brainwashed. For a Ghost Rider you're pretty fucking naive. We're never getting those kids back." Kitty spoke bluntly, then looked to Silas with a surprising and uncharacteristically serious face. "We need to go now. I left that Hog there. How long do you think it'll take for them to trace the plate and be here?" "You're wearing shoes." "Yes Diana. I know. I'm wearing shoes for the first time in centuries. Get over it." 

Kitty pulled out her phone, flipping through her messages and her serious look lessened slightly. "My friend managed to teleport those three other vans to a safer place along with Avalon and Temperance. Your hiding place was absolute shit by the way sis, it only took me an hour to find them." Then she looked to Gavin again. "This is partially your fault too. I had a plan but you just had to stand on top of the damn Hog and catch attention." Kitty threw her hands up in annoyance, a frown on her face. "My plan was to teleport those kids out and then leave the golem for the special forces. I was hoping they would take a head shot, to show the people that ONI wasn't afraid to kill in front of crowds nor were they seeking peace and acceptance for the supernaturals like they so claim. Thanks for forcing my hand."

Gavin whipped around, anger clear and evident on his face. His eyes fixated directly on Kitty.
"You. Shut the fuck up!" He said, his tone even angrier and louder. "Maybe we can prove their innocence, maybe they aren't gonna die. You don't know that, none of us do. And don't you dare talk to me about drawing attention with that stunt you pulled in front of a hundred people. If anything-"
"Alright that's enough!" Silas cut him off, his tone matching Gavin's. Gavin switched his gaze to Silas, the anger on his face not fading.
"Both of you can do this later, right now we need a way to ensure these kids stay hidden." Silas then turned to Kitty.
"I have a secret base of sorts located outside the city. It won't be long till they track the plate back to this place, but we need to move quick. I have enough vehicles to get all of them out, but the problem is them potentially intercepting us while we try to make it out." He explained.

"So," Gavin spoke up again, his voice and expression calmed slightly. "What happens if they do? What do we do then?"
Silas hesitated. He didn't want to inspire the notion of violence into any of these children. He didn't want to tell everyone that they should fight if something like that happened. But did they have a choice now? ONI was convicting innocents and capturing them for God knows what but these were kids. The last thing he wanted was to put them in danger, more-so than they are now.
"Then we'll take 'em!" Silas looked to the group of supernaturals, from where the voice originated. A young boy stepped forward, possibly in his late teens. His skin was heavily tanned and his hair golden blonde. His eyes lacked pupils or irises and faintly glowed gold as well. Despite his apparent age, Silas could see that the boy had confidence in himself, however naive.

"No," Gavin spoke again. "We don't fight. You don't fight. If worst comes worse, let the grownups deal with it." Gavin told him. The boy was about to speak up in defiance until the sound of glass shattering caught the attention of everyone in the room. All looked up to see one of the windows of the mansion broken and a metal canister falling down through it. Silas's eyes widened as he recognised the gas bomb. "Everyone get out!" The bomb landed and rapidly released a brown gas into the living room, intended to cause respiratory wheezing.

As the kids frantically scrambled to get out of the living room, coughing and spluttering already, more bombs came through and soon the firing started. "Keep moving! Go!" Silas shouted above the panic. Bullets shattered the windows completely from the outside and as Gavin and Silas looked up, they both saw jetpack-clad ODST's hovering outside the mansion, firing into it mercilessly.

Kitty snarled at Gavin,  "I know more than you do you insolent child. " Kitty's head snapped to the side to look at Silas when he spoke, a scowl on her face.  "Fine.  I'll continue knocking some sense into the brat later. " Kitty ran a hand through her hair,  fire curling around her hand briefly.  "A secret base sounds good Silas. " 

Kitty's eyes flashed to Gavin again when he quickly dismissed the teenager,  her jaw clenching as she glared daggers at him.  "Listen here you-" Kitty was cut off by the smashing of the window,  her body tending as she got in an offensive position as her eyes watered.  She quickly began coughing but that did not stop her from yelling at Diana,  who was also coughing.  "Go!  Get them out of here! " Diana knew better than to fight her sister so she quickly began ushering the students out and throwing up an ice shield to attempt to protect them from the bullets.  Kitty shot a quick look of apology to Silas before fire curled and blazed around her arms and hands.  She then slammed her palms upward,  a massive and violent amount of fire exploding from her palms.  The fiery explosion blasted huge chunks of wall and ceiling at the ODST's flying in the air.  Then she jumped out,  narrowly avoiding bullets as she moved quickly sending out a wave of fire.

From the middle of the students Mizol wriggled his flat nose, inhaling a few short bursts of air. His giant eyes peered between the legs of those towering above him scanning for the source of what he could smell. To his right one of his friends stepped forward to speak up. Mizol would have pulled him back was something not bothering him. 

Instead he tapped another friend of his to the left on the leg, causing them to look down and extend a hand towards him as was their custom. Taking the human's hand Mizol propelled himself up and atop the girl's shoulder. 

"Mizol sense danger." He grumbled. Now he could see above most of the heads, but still saw nothing out of the ordinary.

Suddenly the gas bomb smashed through the window and Mizol's fears were confirmed. He yanked on the collar of his friend's shirt towards the incoming soldiers but she began to run in the opposite direction. Frowning heavily Mizol leaped off and landed firmly on his webbed feet, staring down the ODSTs. 

Without hesitation Mizol extended his right hand sideways, grasping the water that flew through the mansion's pipes and yanking it from the wall. This stream of water twirled thinly through the air towards him before spinning around his small body like a snake. After a few moments of gathering the water he extended both of his hands, sending the flying stream of water straight into one ODST with enough force to blast him backwards.

The wave of fire hit a row of three ODSTs and disoriented them, allowing Mizol's attack to send one of them flying backwards and out of control.
Gavin's eyes were consumed in flame within a second and his hands enveloped in raging fire. The ODSTs were aggressive in their attacks and extremely precise; as Silas attempted to usher the children and Jaya to a specific location, many of them were hit by the projectiles shot at them and the injuries ranged from crippling to fatal and death dealing.

Gavin shot his hand forth at one of the ODSTs, ignoring the bullets penetrating his body, and a fiery chain sprung out towards him. The chain was too fast for him to react and he was wrapped in the metal, and soon after yanked down into the mansion. As he tried to get up, Gavin's hands were already on him and he was being thrown across the room and impacted against a wall with such force that he was driven through it and the bones in his back shattered. He then redirected his attention to the soldiers hovering and shooting from outside the windows and began to throw a variety of fire-based attacks at them.

Soon, the ODSTs began to resort to more destructive methods and began to throw fragmentation grenades into the mansion and the ensuing explosions began to damage the structure of the building. Due to the combined efforts of Gavin and Kitty, Silas was able to effectively able to usher the panicking and surviving group of supernaturals including Jaya towards the entrance to his secret cave while only sustaining some bullet wounds.
Meanwhile Gavin and Kitty were mostly successful in their elimination of the ODSTs, but soon more began to attack from the other parts of the mansion; crashing through different windows and attempting to gun down the stragglers that were escaping. However Silas quickly came to their aid: using his superhuman agility, speed and strength to bring down a few ODSTs with nothing more than two combat knives.

Gavin turned to assist with the ODSTs landing all over the mansion and turned to leave but as he did so, a rocket flew in past the broken window and landed at his feet, exploding and sending him flying out of the room.

Soon, an armoured figure came through the same window, a rocket launcher held over its shoulder as it landed on both feet.
The Venator examined the destruction for a moment, taking note of the extent of the damage to the mansion. The building was practically on fire now and parts of it were already coming down thanks to the explosions and heavy gunfire.
He turned his attention to the side towards his next target: Kitty. Moving swiftly, the Spartan aimed his rocket launcher towards the vampire's feet and fired off another rocket that traveled towards her at an alarming speed.

Kitty was significantly quicker than Gavin,  dodging the rocket swiftly but was knocked forward from the resulting explosion when it hit the wall behind her.  She got up quickly, her angry blue eyes fixating on the Spartan that had fired the rocket at her.  "Looks like I've found lunch. " She snarled,  then she cracked her neck as her fangs slid down over her lips.  "You've got this covered right Silas?  It's like Berlin 194...2!" She flashed him a grin before her skin turned to lava,  once again fixating on the Spartan.  

Any bullets that came her way went through her,  but still she felt weak.  Using that huge amount of magic and then heading straight into a fight with her lava form was incredibly draining. She needed to make this quick,  but she had a feeling it wouldn't be.  

Upon getting within a five foot radius of the Spartan,  she let loose a barrage of fire from her palms.  Then she sailed through the fire with her fist flying forward,  aiming to straight up sucker punch the man.

As the ODSTs became more numerous and ramped up their assault, Mizol felt quite overpowered. With a large wave of his hand he willed the water around his first target to freeze, ultimately aiming to trap him in place when he landed. After that though there were too many stray bullets flying close to risk moving further into the fight. Granted his small figure made him incredibly hard to hit especially when the soldiers were aiming for the killing areas of the humans around him, he didn't want to risk a bullet to his rather large eyes.

Instead he dived behind cover in the form of a sofa, allowing it's thick material to absorb most of the incoming projectiles for him. He was startled for a moment as an explosion sounded off behind Kitty evidently coming from the RPG-wielding spartan who had just entered. With his head poking just aside of the couch he narrow his eyes at the soldier. His gaze then flickered to Kitty who was coming in for a sucker punch.

Mizol stretched out his webbed hand towards Kitty, closing his eyes. Quietly he murmured under his breath a series of chants that to other races would sound similar to "Mrgl Mrggll Mrgl Mrgll". While it seemed he was simply mumbling he was actually invoking the power of his ancestors. The Grompin were never an inherently strong species, but they found strength in their heritage and tribal arts.

The effect of his invokement would grant a blue almost spirit-coloured aura around Kitty, empowering her strike and subsequently her entire physical body with the presence of Mizol's ancestor; in this case Graog the Worthy. This aura would linger even after delivering her punch.

"Kitty, are you sure about-" Silas started but it seemed she didn't wait, as he watched her instantly retaliate against The Venator. With a sigh, he shook his head and continued to herd the remaining supernaturals towards the exit to his underground lair.
Meanwhile The Venator had been closely observing Kitty's body language and was prepared for the barrage of fire. Still, the attack was faster than he anticipated and some of the fire grazed his armour as he attempted to roll out of the way. Kitty's sucker punch would have subsequently missed him, but she was still within reaching distance to his right now.
Lifting his leg up, he delivered a powerful sidekick to her shoulder, before balancing himself and arming himself with his sniper rifle.

Meanwhile Gavin had quickly recovered from the attack and looked back at the fight going on between Kitty and the mysterious Spartan. A flashback went through his head to when he, Diana and Jaya investigated the destroyed retail store. It was him. He was the one that had fired those shots. However his train of thought was interrupted as a few bullets hit his side, however unaffected him. He turned to look at a group of ODSTs who had their attention fixated on him and were moving in quickly, firing continuously. Gavin allowed the Ghost Rider to emerge at this point, the skin burning off his flesh as he transformed. The ODSTs almost hesitated for a moment but without warning the Ghost Rider sprang towards them..

The side kick threw Kitty for a loop,  sending her spinning onto her back.  She got up quickly,  reaching for the sword that usually hung at her belt only to remember she didn't have one.  "Ah shit. Alright then,  old school it is." Kitty sent out four fireballs towards the mystery Spartan,  one above him and one to each side of him and one to his chest.  Kitty darted forward again,  stopping a few feet infront of him and getting on her hands.  She flipped over him and landed behind him in a crouch,  sweeping her leg out in an attempt to knock him off balance.
