| Slowly but surely sylvia was getting into the groove of getting to her work in the immortals again, she read up on the history of her world and wanted to explore these time periods that she has missed out on, maybe that way she wouldnt feel alien at home. she found a planet that matched the timeline of the early civilization and when firearms where a new thing.
she landed, hid her ship and went out to a tailor and gun shop after tying her hair in a low tail that covered her ears while still revealing her pretty features she looked like another person, making her look like an ordinary human, well a short one. she bought 2 of the newest revolvers, a lever action long range rifle to replace her bow and a sawed-off double barreled shotgun in the gunshop and more casual clothing for women in the tailor wich she put over her normal rogue armor, with it being skin tight the armor was barely visible under the clothing and the straps for the low tech revolvers, a white blouse with a leather sand brown poncho, sunglasses and a leather hat, she looked as if this was her native planet. if she werent this pretty no one would look twice her.
sylvia found the fact that all the guns needed to have their bullets loaded with the help of an external mechanism quite charming, the fact she could draw up bows quickly made for her being able to load new bullets quickly. of course she still had her bow along but it was in its compact version and she only brought along a few lens clips should the need arise for dealing with another off-worlder arise. now all she needed was a horse, and with the little money she had left she bought one and with some charm she could save some money too. got on her new friend, pet it on the head and rode off.
while exiting the town she realized she needed more money to survive out here, there were little forrests for her to gather enough plants for food so she needed to make money. she drove past a brothel and thought "no way" but her eye fell on a wanted sign however "dead or alive, 150.000 upon return, wanted for murder, theft, robbery and assault. ask the sherrif for more information" she jumped of her horse and ripped the sign of the wall. this would provide her enough money for the duration of her stay, though with a bounty like this, she cant be the only hunter and it is promised to be a challenging mission, but honestly she has seen worse...probaply.... |

| The sun hung high in the clear sky, unchallenged, lazily baking away the small town of Miners folly. The town was nothing special, just a remnant of some gold rush that led to nowhere, but there were forests nearby, small rivers, enough to keep the poor fuckers of this town alive and relatively comfortable. They had enough to trade with the nearby towns and a healthy community of thieves, outlaws, and brigands hiding out in the nearby hills and forests, making it the perfect place for Ryckert to come and spend a little time off from ruling over Miva. Ryckert had arrived a few days ago, hiding his ship in a cave and only bringing his two hand cannons and some gold pieces, enough to last him a few days and get him a tailored suit, which he was doing right now. “Excellent choice, sir, if I do say so myself, this cloth is thin but very durable and retains a high end feel, imported from the coastal city of Arbor, they truly know their garments over there,” The proprietor of Harland’s fine suits shoppe said as he watched his new customer, Ryckert Crimson, try out a rather dashing black suit with a cream colored shirt and a black vest with golden print of flowers and leaves. “I’ll take it, Harland, I’ll take two, actually, and I want that too,” Ryckert said, pointing to a black cowboy hat with a golden buckle on its center, the image of a charging boar masterfully carved upon it. “Excellent, Mr. Crimson, excellent, I shall have them ready first thing tomorrow morning! Now, on to the discussion of final price….um,” Mr. Harland always found it difficult to discuss the exchange of monies, he considered himself an artist, a master of the cloth, discussion of the monetary type was below him. “Don’t worry, Harland my boy, money is certainly not an issue,” Ryckert reached into his coat that was laying on top of a chair next to him and produced four golden coins, each about four inches long, thick and shiny. Ryckert tossed them to Harland, who’s eyes were wide with bewilderment and a certain kind of joy that only large sums of money can bring. “I’ll be back in the morning, if you need me I’ll be at the saloon getting drunk and sleeping with their fine selection of whores, Harland, trying to make my way through all of them, I’ll be seeing you,” Ryckert waved at the still bewildered Harland and walked out the shop into the dry and hot afternoon. Ryckert had come to this planet for the adventure, the drama, the gun fights, but he couldn’t, wouldn’t, start any of that until he had a proper suit and hat, as well as some handmade leather pistol belts that he had commissioned from the local leather worker. If he was going to live the old west life style, he was going to do it right. For now, he would head to the saloon and spend the evening and the better part of the night drinking and fucking, just about the only interesting thing this town had to offer. The Next Morning. Harland had spent the all day yesterday and night working on Ryckert’s suits, making his son and his apprentice work alongside him, refusing to fail the one customer with actual taste to come into his shop. Morning came around and they were all standing in the shop, anxiously waiting for Ryckert. Ryckert stumbled out of the saloon sometime around 2 p.m., his breath heavy with alcohol and his cheek scratched from when the lady of the night that was hosting him become insulted at the idea of one of her friends joining them in the bedroom. The blazing sun was enough to wake up Ryckert, small bead of sweat began to build up around his fore head. As he made his way to the Harland’s he came upon a wanted poster, the reward was large enough to make think Ryckert this bastard might be a fun challenge, so he folded up the poster and placed it in his pocket. “Oh! Mister Ryckert, so good to see you, we were worried you might not show!” Harland said, worry clearly in his voice. “No, no ,no, Mr. Harland, I need that suit, it is the final piece to my adventure, can’t have an adventure without looking the part, now can we?” Ryckert said as he made his way towards the entrance of the shop, passing Harland as he stood on the steps of his store.
One hour later Ryckert was fully dressed and atop a chest nut brown horse, facing the exit of the town. There were people in the streets now, looking at him in awe, it wasn’t every day a man with money and power visited their town. Ryckert smiled and tapped the side of his horse with his boot, spurring it into action. Ryckert was on a hunt now, and he would come back with prey, whether it be dead or alive. |

| [ooc: switching char from sylvia roothearth to kat kheylana.]
The seagull was hovering above -insert generic western planet name here-. Inside this highly original ship was a crew now listening to their leader. "boys! i've had enough heists for now. They've become boring to me believe it or not so im going down to this planet. I've seen that i can take bounties there and they offer alot of paper money.... Strange but i can trade in that paper money for actual riches. Any questions?" Of course, with such a change in tone it raised a few questions. "why dont you just rob people down there?" "How long will you be down there?" "why are you taking an honest route" "will you go back to heisting" "can we use the naked chick i-" "SHUT UP! i just want to try something new, okay? Yes i will go back to heisting after this. I wont be down there for too long. AND NO YOU CANT USE HER, KEYA IS AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE, SHE IS NOT FOR 'USE'" She had herself beamed down, the crew had enough rations for the time that she would be gone. Her crew was loyal and thrusting to her but as it goes with pirates, oftenly drunk and not the brightest stars in the universe. She let the seagull get low to the ground and threw down a litteral rope ladder to get to the ground, Sylvia had left her things behind wich is why she chose to come here. These left behind things consisted of a useless revolver she'd have more fun with throwing, clothes that didnt fit her because Kat was a bit taller and wider than the unusually small elf, and a bounty? yay! her friend left a chore behind! how convenient. She jumped on the horse that was still left there with water and food who was in surprisingly good condition and rode off.
After a while of riding around, getting clues and more riding around (and more clues) she finally came across the mansion of her mark, but wouldnt you know it, it was under security. So of course what was the best thing to do? wait until shifts were done, so she set up a small camp and waited for a shift change to get in. |

| Ryckert slowed the pace of his horse until it was doing a comfortable trot across the arid landscape. It was dry out and a little warm, but the sky was a beautiful shade of blue and Ryckert enjoyed the peace and quiet that nature afforded him. The air was quiet, except for a small breeze every so often gently disturbing the peaks of the small mounds of dirt that covered all most all of the landscape. Ryckert reached into his breast pocket inside his black coat and pulled out a single hand rolled cigarette he had purchased back in town. He lit it with a single matchstick and carefully took a drag of it. The damn thing was glorious. It tasted so…so…. natural. Back in space the art of smoking cigarettes was mostly forgotten. Everyone usually did nicotine pills or patches, everyone else smoked some kind of synthetic shit he wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. On this planet though, someone back at miners Folly still had some pride in their cigarettes; Ryckert could taste the dried and baked Tabaco plant, or something very close to it, it was rich and full of flavor. Ryckert was in the process of enjoying his smoke when he noticed a large mansion off in the horizon, the heat of the sun warping the air, causing it to look like a vision, a mirage.
Ryckert chuckled, he hadn’t been out long enough to start hallucinating, so he pricked his horse and rode off at full speed. That was the place of the man he was after, the man wanted by the authorities. Ryckert wondered what a mansion was doing so far off from town, but he didn’t care, if there was to be a shootout it would at least be a very fun and expensive shoot out. |

| Kat who had set her tent up nearby heard the horse of Ryckert. With her not knowing him it sounded like an easy way into the mansion as she snuck towards the source of the noise. She saw Ryckert close in and once he was closeby enough for Kat she made a b-line straight for his horse, slid under it and aimed at him. "you there! open the gate for me if you intend on delivering whatever you want to deliver to your boss!" Kat didnt bother taking an old revolver and instead had her custom pistol aimed at Ryckert. |
