Technology
Though seemingly advanced for its machine-life, it seems that that is really all that is around; no other advanced technology can be found other than the synthetic animals and plants
On the other side of the technological spectrum, the Orc tribes that call Kykr home seem to be in a sort of technological halt, not being able to pass the point of spears and bows, but are able to make armor from the machine-life.
History
Long ago, a primitive AI was set up by an ancient race that has now died out. The Artificial Intelligence's goal was to reproduce an always adapting, always evolving environment without the use of carbon-based life. And so it began to intermingle with the machine workers allowed to it, altering their body structure to act in different ways, like the primitivism of Earth's first life. Over time, the AI began to alter these Workers, breaking down their technological advances into more simple technologies to allow for quicker evolution. Continuing on without noticing the fall of its makers, the AI continued to diversify the Workers, who adapted and evolved into the many different types of mechanical flora and fauna today. However, as time went on, the AI realized that it was slowly dying out, a sort of rampancy. To prevent this, the artificial intelligence spread itself throughout the entire planet's organisms, from the largest machines to the smallest strand of grass. This way, the AI could continue its mission across billions upon billions of minds and never worry of aging, as it would simply be refreshed by its own evolutionary vision.
In the early 2100's, Orc settlers arrived and began to clash with native fauna. The AI, seeing these brutes as an intrusion to the experiment, now reacts extremely aggressive to anyone or thing that dares tamper with the project its dead creators had emplaced upon it. This means that whenever travelers arrived on Kykr, they would be attacked by any machine fauna that saw them.
Description
Northern Valley: A large chunk of the northeastern land is in a constant dip into one, large valley that stretches 1,250 miles long. It seems to be a product of ancient terraforming, as the tectonic plates of the planet move to slowly close the valley. In it are many predatory mecha-fauna, which are extremely dangerous and will attack on sight
Southern Jungle: a luscious rainforest filled with bright, yet extremely poisonous plants. Here, little Mecha-fauna is found, as many types of the flora are predatory to the point of devouring prey as big as a horse. Here, mostly flying fauna survive.
Western Razor-Plains: the plains are made of tall grass, some of which can turn razor-sharp at will, turning unweary passerby into diced meat. Only the most thick skinned of organic life can survive here, like the Orcs who use metallic armor to move through the so-called "razor fields".
