It's been months since the Lucian Kingdom's fall....Despite Nuixar's efforts he abandoned his forces to the wrath of Lucian's enemies...

With only his most trusted inner circle of elite demonic and ork warriors he returned to his fortress on Tantir the bogs still motionless and lifeless as the time the "Almighty lord of Lucian" first set foot here.The familiar castle fortress still remained the same as the time he first created his stronghold here....However the green hue of demonic energies had dimmed as Nuixar's forces became barren and bare.






Much to the Brimstone General's dismay the turn of events only seemed to taunt him....He had lost much....First the Crusade he once served....Then the great powers Aboleth bestowed upon him....His army....His pride.

Demon's don't cry......They brood in anger....twisting themselves even further......Nuixar would sit on his shattered stone throne turning his fiery gaze to his vorpal blade.If only he reunited the missing piece he could reclaim some of it's true power....he could rally the other demon lords like he planned before.......

"Why bother" he thought the Nypherians and the GSU would just crush the little torn remnants before he could unite them.....

So Nuixar remained brooding on the dead marsh world of Tantir with nothing but the dead and dying to keep him company in his once vibrant stone fortress.

Menka walked gracefully forward, in her element in the hell-scarred world of Tantir. A survivor of the Lucian Kingdom, if such a thing could exist. The swamps that had once populated this portion of Tantir were motionless, and dead. 'Lord' Lucifer had decimated the life here long ago, crushing all potential that was once present in the area.

While he was certainly a force to be reckoned with, he was sloppy, and unsure of how to use his magic. But now she was here, and while there was no power to be found in the lifeforce of the swamp, there was still a force that interested her greatly.

The swamp, while barren of life, was supposedly home to a powerful demon lord, by the name of Nuixar, the Brimstone General. And before her, was the citadel in which he was rumored to reside. Her shotgun was light in her hands as she pumped it, loading a slug into the chamber.

She knew better than to trespass in a demon's home, however. She fired into the air, racking the shotgun again. "Nuixar, why don't you come out and meet your newest friend!"

The shot echoed across the abandoned halls of the old fortress.....

The demonic warriors and orc guards rushed to the windows to see who had the gall to even approach the old fortress....The Orc warlord that served as Nuixar's second in command spotted the lone frame of an human....Normally he would unleash his armies on it but after the previous visitor seemingly killed whatever stood in it's way last time the orc warlord couldn't help but hesitate....Then the figure called for his lord by name....The orc grinned and made his way towards the throne room.

Nuixar was already aware of the shot....He could sense someone seeking his attention...Grok entered the room and without an word Nuixar raised his plated finger to silence him.

"I know Grok......" He said as he lifted himself from the cracked throne.....Without warning he teleported to the hall's doors that led to the courtyard where this visitor awaited.

With little effort Nuixar pushed open the old wooden doors walking through it with the fires of his head blazing providing an small light in the otherwise hazy and dark courtyard.Nuixar's blackened hooves would trot across the stony steps as the large demon lord walked towards the human with increasing menace.....

Nuixar opened his mouth to speak,fire danced across his tongue as his words were carried by an deep and contemptful voice.As he spoke he kept walking towards the figure until he was but 2 meters away from her.

"Few fools seek demons child.....Even fewer would call them friends.....How is it that you know my name human?"

Nuixar would lower his immense body and yet he looked down on the lone human female....She should count herself lucky that Nuixar would falter his utter hatred for her kind out of the sheer curiosity of her presence here....He sensed no dark magics at least not like he did in Lucifer so he figured it was not another "Half-breed"

The walls surrounding the courtyard began to fill with the silhouettes of Nuixar's remaining army as they watched their lord converse with the stranger.

[size=34]Menka smiled grimly as the ruins began to fill with the remnants of the demon’s army. It seemed like she had gotten the reaction she wanted. While she was confident in her goal and her belief that the demon general would help her, she readied a smokescreen spell in case he ordered her killed. A commotion arose, and she heard footsteps from inside the ruins as Nuixar approached.[/size]

[size=34]The doors were thrown open, and she took a reactionary step backwards. He approached her, and she met his eyes with a fire in her own. “I am no fool, Lord Nuixar. I come seeking you not to kill you as many would, but to learn from you. I am a Necromancer. There are few tomes or scrolls left in the galaxy that have not been confiscated by the Wizard Council, however, so while I have been practicing the art, I lack the learning resources to better my spells. So I thought what better way to learn black magics than if a demon lord taught you himself?” she said.[/size]

The mortal sought one thing....One thing that all beings no matter how good or evil craved...Knowledge. If there was one thing Nuixar had it was old and ancient secrets....But to give it so willingly to....an human of all things....Well....She had an aura that Nuixar couldn't resist but indulge.

His words would bounce off his fiery tongue as he carried dangerous intent with each letter.

"So....Necromancer you seek to improve your dark arts.....Tell me then child....What is your current understanding of the art of Necromancy."

Halfway through Menka's reply appeared the Lucian cruiser that passed over the crumbled fortress,causing Nuixar's head flames to burn even brighter.

"Ah! More visitors.....And here I thought I wiped my hands clean with that failure of an cause......Hmmm." Nuixar turns to Menka. 

"I will consider taking you as an student and allowing you to learn some of the darkest arts if you prove your skills in combat by helping me quell these Lucian swine...."

In truth he did not expect some Lucian loyalists remnants to survive his "purge" of their leadership after the Kingdom fell into chaos following Lucifer's imprisonment.He found his former masters weak and pathetic and relished every drop of blood he could smear across his blade and horns.He had no idea of the other Demon lord aboard the cruiser and thought this was merely some survivors seeking vengeance.

It remains to be seen.

"So what say you Necromancer.....Would you dare indulge an old demon lord?" He asked smiling playing on human impulse to rise to an challenge.
