The Northern Peaks of the Eastern Mountain

The Dryads looked out across their old home. They had lived in the forests and plains, but they were weary to return to those ancestral homes. Instead, they voted, the council debated, and a decision was reached. The decision was to recover the City Seeds of their old homes. Taking them, they would replant them in the mountains. They decided to name this new city of theirs Ar Dtus Chathair.

Several Dair underwent this task, one Teagartha assigned to each. They travelled throughout the northern forests of TK-47, recovering the numerous City Seeds. However, they found something unexpected. The Sprucens had grown throughout the forests. These few Dair saw them as cousins, shifting their minds for true conscious thought. These lost cousins, who had been tending to the old cities came back with the Dair. 

At the base of the mountains numerous City Seeds were planted. The Sprucens, though having gained intelligence, chose to follow their original path, forsaking the sword or pen for the spade. They became the caretakers of the fast growing citadel. The seeds sprouted quickly their green tendrils climbing the mountains. Large tree-like branches sprouted from these tendrils, creating canopies, homes, and a fuel source.

Many weeks passed as the City Seeds grew, reaching maturity. The five peaks in the center of the city were it's Heart. Their names were Othniel, Ehub, Barak, Issachar, and Reuben. Upon them lived the Council and the great Behemoths.

Surrounding these five peaks was a valley. At the bottom was where the seeds had been planted. Thus this valley has been called The Valley of the Sprucens. A name that is very apt.

To the north-east stood the Buaic Cothrom, around which the Teagartha slept upon their roosting peaks. To the south-east laid the three volcanoes of the Drakes. Surrounded by mountains themselves, these hollow fortresses became known as The City of Stone, for the Stone Drakes began to fashion their homes and buildings out of stone hewn from the caverns they once called home.

To the north of the five peaks laid mountains, upon which the seeds saw fit to create a place of living for both Dryads and Fenrir. The icy peaks providing the right temperature for the great wolves to live comfortably. To the South-West laid a series of peaks, upon which the Griffins made their homes. All of these districts were connected by bridges grown from the City Seeds, shaped by the Sprucen.

To the West of the city a great desert stretched. To the east laid a thin expanse of thick jungle. Beyond that stood the deep waters of the Eastern Sea. In the north were plains, forests, and the icy wastes from which the Fenrir came. The south, as far as any Dryad had cared to look, stood many more craggy peaks.
