Name: Cybertronians
Homeplanet: The name of their home world has long since been lost to time, cybertronians will often refer to it simply as "the Homeworld" when questioned about it.
Sentience: Sentient
Strengths
Supercomputer Brain
Possessing a high-speed mechanical brain, cybertronians are often all very intelligent and able to apply their powerful mind to any situation, calculate probabilities, build things, fix things, and adapt at startling paces in comparison to, say, humans. Their exceptional intelligence gives them the ability to learn new skills, and even languages in nearly no time at all - though it does have a limited capacity for information, and often will have to delete information that is no longer important or too old to maintain space for more information, and as time passes - memories become corrupted and as such, are deleted, causing cybertronians to "forget" things as time goes by. They are also able to feel the full spectrum of emotions, have total free will, and are able to choose what they want for themselves - being true Artificial Intelligence.
Simulated "Senses"
Through specialized sensors, many cybertronians are able to experience some equivalent of the senses, as well as the positive and negative effects that might come from that. They also possess the ability to "digest" food and drink, though they have no need for them. (This "digestion" being more or less burns the food down to nothing in their cores)
Language: cybertronians no longer have any formal, central language. They learn the languages required to communicate with other lifeforms they come in contact, and two cybertronians meeting will often result in them cycling through languages until they find one in common.
Hospitable Environments: cybertronians, being machines, can tolerate many environments as the physical needs of organics don't apply to them. There have been cases where a cybertronians might complain about being exposed to water or sand, claiming it might become "stuck" in their bodies and being a pain to remove.
Special Gadgetry
All cybertronians have some sort of varying additions to them, and no two are ever really too similar. One might have built in weaponry, while another might have a medical suite onboard, or even something as fanciful as short range teleportation - it's something of a grab-bag when it comes to their "unique" abilities. These gadgets all draw from their core - a highly advanced reactor that seems to not need to be replaced or recharged made of unknown materials. Often referred to as "the heart" of cybertronians .
Synthetic body
Due to their synthetic body, all cybertronians possess some degree of strength, speed and durability that surpasses, for example, the average human as a baseline. Among Cybertronians, however, their physical capabilities can vary as much as their modified appearance, personality and gadgets.
Resistant to Hacking:
These synthetic lifeforms can also be hacked - though it should be known it is no easy task as cybertronians have fail-safes, the ability to fight back if not properly subdued and will constantly try to break away from the virus if given the chance to do so. Cybertronian’ s are NOT easy to hack - due to their rare nature, and the complexities of their technology which not even they fully understand anymore, let alone the rest of the galaxy, hacking one in any sense often means that the would-be hacker will have to focus their efforts on the cause with a pretty good resource backing and tech to keep it up, but it is possible. On the rare a cybertronian is hacked, the hacker will find themselves with an efficient servant - but with a lot of given time, and the ability to carry on many thought processes at once, they will often exert what willpower they have over their programming and try to override the "shackles" put on them - and there's a chance the cybertronian might be able to break free, though it's often with no shortage of pain, struggle and time on their part
Weaknesses
EMPs:
Cybertroian technology has its limits, as all things do. Being machines, they are vulnerable to Electro-Magnetic Pulses (EMPs) and sudden power surges. Acybertronians might be able to take one or two, but with stronger or larger, or sustained pulses, it could easily put thecybertronians in a temporary shut-down state similar to being knocked unconscious - and further sustained pulses and charges could fry out their inner workings and kill them, or at the very least render the body unusable and give the AI inside no where to go.
No magic (WIP):
Ever since the cybertroians completely, converted themselves to inorganic beings, their bodies lost the ability to use magic.
Repairs:
Due to the advanced nature of their technology, the rareness of cybertronians, and the fact that their planet - where the materials and technology needed for proper repairs was housed - is long since gone, a highly damagedcybertronians can be problematic. They often have to go into makeshift or improvised repairs, leading some cybertronians to have other kinds of armored plating or substitute parts to keep them going the best they can.
Appearance
Height: Normally range somewhere between 5 foot to a maximum of 7 foot.Physical Description: At first glance, one might mistake the humanoid synthetics as a humanoid alien in some odd looking armor, but upon closer examination, one can easily notice the mechanical workings in the face and any exposed part of the body. Though human in shape, they are clearly a machine with glowing lights in the eyes, mouth and in other parts of the bodies. No two cybertronian's are exactly alike, they vary greatly in appearance, color, personality and gadgetry - but they have consistent style to their technology, and all of them have glowing eyes and mouths of different colors. Some Cybertronians make modifications over time to their body, giving cybertronians an even larger distinction from another. The plating on cybertronians is smooth and very alien in appearance, keeping a slick sheen in most cases - barring any damage one might have taken. Their inner workings are where things get a bit complicated with a sprawling miniature landscape of highly advanced technology - the origin of which have long since been lost to the ages and have since baffled those who have tried to understand it in the past.Culture
Cybertronians no longer have any central government, economy, religion, language or civilization - all of that went away many years ago when the isolationist cybertronians outlived their planet. Those who are left are rare sights to the world, and often interesting to people due to their excellent technology that goes into their bodies. Cybertronians value exploring the universe, examining sentient life, and experiencing the world as it is. They enjoy learning new things, and can fit in many places as needed.
The creation of other cybertronians and how a majority of their technology created or works was lost with their planet, leading to the race having the end in sight, unable to create new ones and already holding a small population in the universe.
History
Many thousands of years ago, cybertronians were once organic beings who, rather than making something along the steam engine or the projectile weapon - they crafted the first early cybernetic appendages to their race and from there emerged all of their other technological advances. Everything they built revolved around the improvement of the body. As the centuries passed, eventually the organic in the original cybertronians faded away, replacing even their brains with synthetic replacements. Many centuries later, cybertronians established an isolationist view on the galaxy. Though they did meet other sentient life, they often did not share their technology, though they welcomed friendly - albeit distant - relationship. Eventually, however, as cybertronians achieved immortality, maintained an isolationist view and never expanded beyond their home world - when the time came where they needed to expand, as their planet, for unknown reasons to those today was dying. The reasons have long since been forgotten, but the effects are felt still. However, cybertronians handled this sort of thing well as one staple of the species views on the world often involved “Everything comes to an end” - and they handled this quite well, all things considered.
Many cybertronians died, and those who survived were given a consensus objective: Find a new home. This futile command ended with, over time, most memories of the Homeworld, it’s fate, and why they were searching to fade away in memory. Now, cybertronians are left with the command to wander, search, examine and experience still sitting in their memory, leading them to wander the universe.
