History:

Born and raised on the human colony world Theta, Michael's planet was attacked and mostly glassed by the Covenant when he was still a child. The partial destruction of the planet was in due to the unknown fact that the aliens had been searching for something on the planet. Numerous Covenant infantry were deployed on the ground to scout the surface for any sign of this artefact. What little humans left were slaughtered as they tried to band together and form survival groups. His group was attacked and also killed, however his mother had quickly hidden him in a discrete location to save him. Hours later, Michael woke up to gunfire and looked up to see the towering figure of an armoured humanoid - Spartan 157 who helped him out and escorted him off the planet.

His saviour's arrival encouraged the boy to enlist in the UNSC and excelled in the academy. As a marine, he was an exceptional soldier known for following orders to the letter and performing above average feats on the battle field - even against the technologically superior Covenant. His tenacity in combat - fueled by his desire for revenge, lead him to being enlisted into the ODSTs in the final days of the war and lead him to achieving the rank of Corporal, which he still holds till present.
