Olat Festival October!: INTRO: After the end of the first month, feasts begin after every day. The Olat Festival lasts until November until then, the feasts and duels carry on! (sorry bout' the big jump September went quick) Now, a month after the duel with Samuel of Desolate Lands, the still injured Eden and Jeremiah witness a knight by the name of Oleean duel, he has a build like Samuel and Jerra, but has an aura of holy magic. Eden and Jeremiah have never seen the knight and are curios to his intentions.

Kaiyan reported his observation of the previous month and was sent back to investigate the "sudden disappearance" of the knight known as Samuel.The Imperium was as of yet unaware of magic and it's capabilities.

Kaiyan was able to scale the walls back into the city,from a lone tower near the plaza he watched using binoculars at the knights who continued their duels.Out of all the knights one caught his eye,Kaiyan couldn't explain it but this knight seemed to emit a faint aura of light around him.He would observe as ordered how the duel would proceed.

For the last month, Mei had been lurking around in the shadows and scavenging around. She really hoped that no one would try to interact with her because she could not talk. As she approached the crowd again she noticed a man with armor with a bright aura emitting around him. How would this battle go against him, he surely looked tough. Mei pulled the hood over her head and made sure none of her chains were sticking out. She hoped no one thought she looked suspicious and tried to attack her or so.

Jeremiah walked into the ring, already in the dueling armor. Jeremiah looked at the knight on the opposite side of the arena. He had a great sword in hand and was twirling it like it was a short sword. Jeremiah had his usual enormous battle axe, and readied his stance. "looks like Ollean has a contender! It's Jeremiah!" Cheers erupted from the crowd but Jeremiah did not move, his eyes were trained on the opponent. Soon, the duel had started. At first Jeremiah knew this knight was skilled and patient because he didn't charge at him. But soon Jeremiah began wondering what he was scheming.

The knight suddenly charged, catching Jeremiah completely off guard. Jeremiah dodged the attack, but didn't attack the knight. "not yet, I need to see what he's planing" Jeremiah thought to himself. Ollean soon turned around and charged at Jeremiah again. This time Jeremiah parried the attack and hit Ollean in the chest firmly. Ollean stumbled back but quickly regained his poise, and without warning charged. Jeremiah couldn't do anything, it was too sudden and quick. A pain shot through Jeremiah's body as he looked down, the point of the sword was impaled into his stomach.

Jeremiah fell to the ground a pool of blood beginning to surround him. Eden was shocked, as the realization dawned on him. Eden was filled with a burning rage. Eden left the crowd for a split minute. the crowd still frozen along with everyone else. Then, Rose petals began falling from seemingly the clouds. And in about a second Eden charged into the battle with his full armor and weapon. There was a rule to the Olat Festival duels, it said "If a kinsman is injured mortally during a duel then the other kinsman of the injured have the choice to kill the one who had injured the kin without legal consequences" Which Eden had fully intended to do.

Kaiyan watched as Ollean struck down Jeremiah........Petals of a flower unfamiliar to Kaiyan started raining unto the crowd.Kaiyan was confused but continued his gaze through the binoculars at the fight.This was interesting considering these strange people had traditions of honourable combat much like the Varanus.

He saw Eden charge into the duel which caused Kaiyan to smile slightly...."What's this" he thought as he watched the duel continue.

Mei watched as this other guy started to duel the knight. Her eyes widened and she let out a silent gasp as he was impaled in the stomach. She watched as she saw the familiar rose petals of Eden. Freaking out now, she watched what was going to happen. She wanted to do something but she couldn't draw attention to her. Seeing how easily the guy was impaled she was afraid of what would happen to Eden.

Eden charged, he screamed as he did so. Burning rage filled Eden, one that he hadn't felt ever. Suddenly the soft drifting flower petals suddenly were engulfed in flames. The rage that Eden felt was unlike any other seen in a warrior on Prometheus in 500 years. Jeremiah held his stomach under his body, three Vanguard knights had already reached him but hadn't picked him up yet, for they too were engrossed with the newfound rage of Eden.

Jeremiah was soon put onto his back, he looked up to the sky, and saw the inferno of flower petals. we whispered, so small that it was barely audible "Eden.. no.." Jeremiah passed out from blood loss. Eden charged Ollean with the fury of a dragon. Tears stung Eden's face. He couldn't loss another kinsmen, he just couldn't.

Jeremiah felt weightless, like he was floating. Eden's petals drifted softly throughout the pink landscape, the clouds were what really stuck out to Jeremiah. He was at peace, the wounds on his stomach didn't hurt and all of his needs were satisfied. Jeremiah simply layed down, the sweet rose smell luring him to slumber, and he fell into a deep sleep.

Kaiyan watched as Jeremiah fell,he continued watching as the Vanguard knights stood around the fallen knight.It troubled Kaiyan to just sit around and watch as the duel escalated....

Kaiyan then climbed off the tower and checked his gear,he had a gladius and a data sphere alongside the thermal armour hidden underneath his red and black robes.He then joined in the crowd once pushing his way to see the duel stopping next to an strange girl of sorts who hid under a robe much like him. "Strange girl...But not my objective." He kept his clawed hand on the pommel of his blade.

He watched Eden fight grinning as he watched Jeremiah remained motionless.

Mei gasped as the man fell to the ground. Would he be ok?! Was he still alive?! Thoughts raced throughout her mind as ahe watched. She wanted to do something but this wasnt her fight. She watched as a man looked at her, also with a hood on but she ignored him. 

Just in case something really bad happened she sent chains across the ground under every ones feet so she could easily get by. She made sure no one noticed
 
Now what would happen?..
