| Name: Vitae Habitable: Yes it has been so for thousands and thousands of years. Terrain: Mixture of empty deserts, lush jungles, dense forest, valleys, massive oceans ,floating islands, and pockets of large urban cities. Size: Extremely large Population: 8 Billion Krevor and 12 billion demons
Development Thread: N/A yet Technology: Krevor utilize advance technology that use magic as it it's main power source. History At the dawn of known Vitaeian history, the Krevor race was the only sentient species on the planet Vitae, and had built a mighty empire. After years of war amongst each other one house was able to unite the houses using the advanced technology given to them by the gods (the highly advanced civilization that inhabited the planet before them). However peace didn’t last long , demons arrived on Vitae, and stole a large swathe of unsettled land from the local Krevors and killed innocent civilians. The two races began constantly waging war with one another for dominance until the Krevors eventually broke their enemies using their superior technology and magic, forcing them into slavery. Over the course of the next thousand years, the demons of Vitae were slowly brainwashed and indoctrinated into worshiping and obeying their Krevor masters without question.
Year later the inhabits of Vitae received terrifying news of a mysterious disease which was causing widespread chaos across their system. Their current Pharaoh adopted an isolationist policy to prevent the population of Vitae from being afflicted by such a horrible disease, shooting down any ships that dared approach the planet during such a turmoil filled time for the galaxy. This had the unfortunate effect of quickly using up their stock of food supplies, leading to many deaths from starvation until crops could be grown to meet the demand for food and medicine, though it had spared their species from total destruction. Recently, several Krevor deities have ''made themselves known'' to the Priesthood and Zealots of Vitae, increasing their already notable influence. Such events had also boosted the Krevor people's connection to magic, leading to a higher birth rate of children that possess large magic reserves. Deciding such remarkable ''gifts'' were a sign from the gods, the current Pharaoh of Vitae ended their isolationist policies, believing the time for his people to rise up and become a galactic power had come at long last. Description Government: A powerful monarchy in the Outer Rim, Vitae is currently a major trading hub on this side of the galaxy, trading it's vast natural riches for both weapons of war and vital supplies needed to keep the planet running like it does. Ruled over by the Pharaoh and the various noble houses under his command, the native Krevor populace are elevated above all the demons on Vitae, who serve as their surprisingly willing slaves. Obedience has been drilled into them over the course of tens of thousands of years, and the demon population worship the Krevors as living gods, which has led to a booming slave trade upon the planet. The Krevor race are also highly religious, worshiping a pantheon of many gods, with the most talented of their race joining the priesthood and zealots of this religion.- Tairos:
Tairos is the capital of Vitae. Surrounded at all sides by floating islands, and large glorious temples of their various deities, numerous estates dot the large floating island , a vast metropolis surrounding it serve as a glistening beacon to the populace of Vitae. A vast towering palace would dominate the skyline of the city above all others, the royal home of the Pharaohs, with a large golden statue of the current ruler Osiris the Wise standing proudly while holding his royal scepter, the statue itself looking down upon the city from the roof of the vast keep, serving as a reminder of both the Pharaoh's power, and the great wealth that has made the planet as wealthy as it is.
- The Temple of the divines:
A place where Krevor gather to pray to their gods . The temple of the diving is the largest and most sacred of all the temples because it is where the Krevor first came in contact with their gods. The temple was built south of Tairos, the temple resides on a small floating island that can only be reached via ship or teleportation. The temple is also a place where magic practitioners can come to learn and study. However, non Krevor must be tested before they can even step foot in the sacred temple.
- Spoiler:
- A large valley that takes nearly a month to cross from one side to the other can be found far north of Tairos . Here many smaller houses could be found . Unlike Tairos, many of the houses live more like tribes here, and must farm the lands which are fertile. Many farming animals roam the valley, thus making this place a fair enough land to live on.
- Spoiler:
A small city on the edge of the great desert and one of the few places not overgrown by jungle or forest. The area is mainly populated by the outcast of Korver society. - Forgotten ruin:
A large ruin covered in vegetation. It is said a maze resides under it, and many nasty creatures live in that maze. According to Krevor legend hidden in the center of the maze lies an ancient supply stash has been a long sought after treasure. The largest of them all, the cache is rumoured to hold more military equipment and advanced technology than the other seven combined. Thousands of plasma weapons and a whole brigades worth of high tech war machines are rumoured to be buried within the maze. All one would have to do to claim the treasure, is find it.
- Cognito's keep:
Cognito's keep is where most of the military supplies come from. Here, energy weapons and droids are built in large quantities by them, as well as suits of armor and vehicles. This is about the size of Vitale's largest city and where the majority of Vitale's scientist, workers, and engineers reside There's a Garrison of Soldiers here as well, and much like the palace it is well defended to say the least.
- The Spaceport:
One of the most heavily secured areas on the planet, due to Krevor distrust of aliens. This allows Krevors to come and go from their world, assuming they could afford to buy a spaceship from aliens and the spaceship passes the inspection personally of the Pharaoh or whoever he assigns.
